The service went well. The technicians did a nice job and had excellent craftsmanship. Scheduling was okay and they showed up on time.

The work was good. The workers were clean, and they did a really good job. They were also punctual.

WOJTEK STOKLOSINSKI, OWNER, SENT TWO WORKERS OVER TO REFINISH MY HARDWOOD FLOORS. WORKERS DID NOT SPEAK VERY GOOD ENGLISH. FLOORS WERE TO BE SANDED, STAINED TO MATCH KITCHEN HARDWOOD AND SEALED WITH SYNTECO. AFTER FLOORS WERE SANDED, MINWAX GUNSTOCK OAK STAIN (FROM HOME DEPOT), WAS APPLIED. WHEN DRY, FLOORS WERE BRIGHT ORANGE AND BLOTCHY - DARK STAIN IN SOME AREAS AND LIGHTER IN OTHERS. UPSET, I CALLED OWNER WOJTAK WHO CAME OUT NEXT DAY AND BLAMED ME FOR PICKING THAT COLOR. TO REMEDY, HE SUGGESTED PUTTING A DARKER STAIN OVER TO TRY TO NEUTRALIZE THE COLOR SO MINWAX DARK WALNUT STAIN WAS ADDED OVER. STAIN WAS DARKER AROUND ALL THE BASEBOARDS WHERE WORKERS APPLIED WITH RAGS, THEN FILLED IN LATER WITH A MOP LEAVING PERIMETER STAIN MUCH DARKER. STAIN WAS ALSO APPLIED WITH A MACHINE WHICH LEFT LIGHT AND DARK STREAKS RUNNING PERPENDICULAR TO THE FLOOR BOARDS. WHEN WORKERS WERE APPLYING THE DARK WALNUT STAIN, I NOTICED THE BOTTOMS OF THE EMPTY CANS HAD A THICK SLUDGE IN THEM. NOW I KNOW WHY I HAD ORANGE FLOORS - THESE IDIOTS DID NOT STIR THE CANS OF STAIN!!! UNFRIGGIN BELIEVABLE!!! EVEN AFTER SECOND COLOR OF STAIN WAS ADDED, THE COLOR AND COVERAGE WAS STILL BLOTCHY AND UNEVEN BECAUSE THE FIRST COAT OF STAIN WAS NOT STIRRED IN THE CAN AND NOT PROPERLY APPLIED (I CALLED MINWAX AND THEY SAID THIS STAIN SHOULD NEVER BE APPLIED BY MACHINE). WOJTEK TOLD ME THE COLOR WOULD EVEN OUT AFTER FIRST COAT OF SYNTEKO - LIAR!!!! I TOLD THEM NOT TO FINISH THE JOB AN REMOVE THEIR EQUIPMENT IMMEDIATELY. I DID NOT PAY THEM AND THEY DID NOT TRY TO COLLECT MONEY FROM ME. I AM CONSIDERING SUING THEM FOR RUINING MY HARDWOOD FLOORS. AFTER THEY LEFT, I REALIZED THAT THEY SANDED WAY TOO MUCH WOOD FROM THE FLOORS LEAVING A RIDGE AROUND THE BASEBOARDS SHOWING APPROX 1/4" WAS SANDED OFF. THE AMOUNT OF DUST IN MY HOME TOOK OVER A WEEK TO CLEAN UP, EVEN WITH TARPS TAPED UP EVERYWHERE. THIS IS THE 4TH TIME I'VE HAD HARDWOOD FLOORS REFINISHED AND NEVER HAD A FIASCO LIKE THIS. DO NOT TRUST ANGIES LIST REVIEWS AND DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. HE HIRES UNSKILLED LABOR AND DOES NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS SHODDY WORKMANSHIP.

It went great, was very happy and pleased with the installation of my new floors and looking forward to showing them off to my friends and family.

Wojtek and his crew were very easy to deal with. Starting with the estimate at my house, I could tell Wojtek was punctual and professional. The estimate took about 6 days for me to get it. But he is a very busy guy and my husband (who was in the trades) understands and told me to be patient, which I did. It was worth the wait. He emailed us 2 estimates, one with a water based stain and one with a poly coating. Both of them were very reasonable!!! I emailed him back asking more information on what type of stain to use. Shortly after that he emailed me a lot of information on the differences between the two types, which made it easy to make a decision. On Monday Wojetk's men showed up on time, ask me a few questions. After that they began work immediately and stayed until the job was done. They finished the last coat of poly on Tuesday. The job was done on Wednesday, but Wojtek strongly suggested we wait an additional day until the applicances were moved back, so the floor had more time to dry. On Thursday Wojtek's men came back to move the appliances. Done! It was a great experience. The dust was minimal, they sealed off the other rooms with plastic barriers (as you would expect). All in all - a great job - well done!!! I strongly recommend using this company!!

My wife and I are very satisfied with this company. We found them on Angie's list. They had good reviews and were close to where we live. The owner came to our home two days after we called. He was on time, professional and submitted the quote on the spot. After accepting the contract, we asked for a delay due to personal circumstances. CMS was very cooperative and rescheduled the starting date for our work. When the project began, they did everything exactly as the owner promised. They moved our large appliances and buffet for us. Large plastic sheets were placed around the work areas which protected the rest of our home from sanding dust. To our surprise, the dust was minimal. Their sanders have large vacuums attached to them and they did an excellent job of capturing 95% of the dust. It was really amazing how clean the house remained. Two craftsman worked exclusively on our project. They were friendly and professional. Day one - All the sanding was finished in the first coat of poly finish was applied. Day two - The second coat of poly was applied. Day three - The floors were lightly polished and the third coat of poly was applied. Day four - We could walk on the floors and start returning items to their locations. Day five - 8:00 AM, CMS returned to the house and reinstalled the stove and refrigerator and moved the buffet back into place. They put down sheets of plywood on the floor for protection as they move the appliances back into place. No damage to the new floors The floors are beautiful. "My wife is very happy". Mr. Stoklosinski was very patient during the bidding process for the job despite that we changed the specs three different times. When we finalized what we wanted materials were ordered and delivered in 10 days. They stacked the materials in our living room for a week to acclimate to the humidity in the house. Mr. Stoklosinski's workers removed our large furniture (Couch, Chaif Dining room table) and placed it in our Garage. He told us that installation would take three days. The workmen began at 7:30 a.m and worked until 4:30 p.m. On Monday (11-18-2-013) and finished the job on Wednesday (11/20/2013). Workmen returned the furniture to the house from the Garage. They did a thorough cleaning and vacuming all the dust from their installation process. We were very pleased with the quality of the materials used and the care for installation. Several of our friends and neighbors have commented on the fine job that was completed on time for the agreed upon price. We would not hesitate to give them an excellent rating and recommend them to anyone wanting a solid wood floor installed.

The floor looks good, the only complaint I have is some spaces in the original hardwood could've been filled in with wood putty a little more.

CMS flooring was very professional and clean. My new floors look beautiful. We will be having Oak flooring installed/finished in two more bedrooms with closets done by CMS as well as having our exsisting Oak floors refinished.

My floors look beautiful. I'm so thankful that I decided to use CMS Hardwood Flooring. The guys that did our floors were very enjoyable to have in our home. They came in and took out our old ugly ceramic tile the first day. The next few days they put the new hardwood down. After all the flooring was down they sanded the whole first floor. The next morning they came back to put the first coat of sealer. I was very impressed because they did it early enough so by evening it would be dry for us to get back into the house and not have to spend the night in a hotel. The next two coats were also put down early in the morning too.

CMS Flooring did our bedrooms in the fall of 2012 and the family, living, and dining rooms in the spring of 2013. As disruptive as moving furniture to other areas of the house can be, the end result was well worth it. Before hiring, Wojtek came out to our house with pictures and references from previous jobs, explained the differences between pre-finished and unfinished flooring, explained exactly what to expect, and answered all of our questions. He took measurements and we had a quote within 48 hours. During installation, the installers arrived within their estimated time of arrival and went about their business in a very professional manner. They do move furniture which was a big concern for us. We opted for the unfinished floors which requires sanding before applying the stain. They put up plastic sheets to wall off rooms and there was virtually no dust in the other areas of the house.They applied several samples of stain on the floor so you could see exactly what the the stain would look like which made it easier to choose a stain color. Finally, I can not think of a time when Wojtek did not call back the same day. That's service and being responsive to the customer's needs. Overall the experience was better than I had expected, we are very pleased with our floors, and I would highly recommend CMS Flooring to install your hardwood floors.

The experience was very satisfactory and we were very comfortable with having them in our house. We need to have another floor refinished and will definitely use them again.

I cannot say enough nice things about Wojtek and Mario's work. They were always polite, professional, on time and worked long days. The last day was almost 12 hours!!! They totally cleaned up after themselves and carried and wrapped all garbage for the alley waste removal. First they removed the carpet, repaired attic floor planks, installed the flooring, added complete quarter round, built stairs and landing. Stained and polyurethaned them. (Floor was bought polyurethaned.) All this in 4 days. They covered as much as they could and the dust was minimal. (There will be dust no matter how well they cover things!) Oh, this is no small thing....they had to work around our very heavy bedroom furniture. They moved all pieces and put everything back exacltly where it belonged. I will absolutely reccommend them to anyone. They did superior work and I felt very comfortable having them in my home.

The were some spots in the flooring that weren't quite right. Called and let them know. They squeezed us into the schedule to come out and redo them for us. Great work & even better customer service!

I made appointment to get an estimate to install new floors in my kitchen and hall. He was a late, but no problem. He showed examples of his work, then I told him what I wanted. He measured my floors and explained what I needed. He stated he would e-mail me his estimate the following tuesday or wednesday. No estimate received. Since that thursday was Thanksgiving, I waited until saturday to e-mail him regarding the estimate. No answer. Very Unprofessional. If he did not want the job, he should have said so.

Great company, great service, (hard to believe), even better employees... Do I sound impressed? D*** Right.... I'm 62, been in construction all my life. worked with lots of hardwood floor companies, threw several off my job sites. Never found one I would recommend as highly as this company. Owner/estimator arrived when he said he would, workers arrived when they said they would,(actually about ten minutes early) masked everything I left in rooms, (flat screen tv's mounted on walls large mirrors etc.) then proceeded to work for the next three days, sanding, repairing, staining, and varnishing my red oak floors. My floors are 60+ years old, I've owned them for the last 20. Been done twice since I bought the house. First two refinishers were good, CMS, absolutely fa-nominal. Floors probably didn't look this good when they were new. They say that their dust free, (nothing is dust free) clean-up took minutes, NOT HOURS. If your looking for a Hardwood Floor Company, CALL THEM, you won't be disappointed. Their presentation book shows examples of their work, it almost made me wish I needed a new floor. Before they worked for me, I didn't know them from Adam, Yesterday I called them to ask for more business cards. If you believe in recommendations, "bet on this one", you won't lose.

He gave me an estimate for the floors and the stairs. I decided just to get the floors done. I decided later that I wanted the stairs done. Because I was not planning to have that extra work done he said the price would be higher. Their price is a whole lot more than he originally quoted me. The initial quote for the living room and the dining room was $575.00. I decided on a different finish so it made it about $600.00. When he initially came out he said the living room, dining room, and the stairs would be around $700.00. Now he is saying the cost for the stairs will be $300.00. There were a few flaws I saw on my floor and he said he would be coming this Saturday to take a look at them. They finished the floor but I noticed that there was a strip of carpet they did not pull up. I asked them why they did not pull it up. He did go back and pull that strip of carpet up, they sanded it but you can see that the corners are not done correctly. He said he was going to come out and look at it on Saturday. He told me to call him Friday to verify the time he is coming. Overall, they were professional. When I first contacted them to come out, they were good. When I started calling them to come back out for the strip that wasn't done, the response was not good.

Highly recommended to all. The floor looked as if they were just installed. CMS does great work at a great price. Started on the promised date and finished up as stated. House was clean and dust free. Wish all our projects turned out this good.

They were on time work was done on time as stated he suggested 3 colors and let me choose for one day he even suggests wall registers his prices did not deviate my rooms are better than I expected written estimate was clear and precise I chose 3 companies from Angie's list and he was my third and the charm other guys have had more people and cheaper, but CMS is by far the best he is worth every dime I love my floors I wish I could have found him earlier. I am on a very tight budget and I was a little reluctant CMS you can't go wrong they cleaned up afterwards. I'm very satisfied please try him before u go to the others.

I had a very positive experience with CMS Flooring. They refinished hardwood flooring in two bedrooms for me. The owner came out a day after I had contacted him to give me a quote and I had the work done approximately 3 weeks later. The owner was very professional and knowledgeable. The men who actually came and did the work were also very professional and very hard working. That first day they spent 12 hours at my house sanding! They were also very clean and made sure to wipe everything off before they left. The floors turned out beautiful. Better than I thought they could look. I have already recommended them to two friends. I would definitely use them again in the future. My ONLY negative comment would be that a week after I got the floors refinished, I received a letter in the mail from the owner. It was a list of the do's and don't during the first two weeks of the floors being finished. Well we were already a week into it so it would have been more helpful to get that before they left the house. Needless to say one of the "don'ts" listed was putting an area rug down. It said to wait two weeks. Well I had already done that so I had to run and take it off. Luckily no damage was done and the floors still look beautiful!

They finished the flooring very quickly and efficiently without any complaints at all. Overall it was the best service for when we remodeled ever!! Highly recommend them!!!!

Recently stationed here with the military and rehabbing a duplex, Me and my wife were very frustrated up until we met Wojtek. We purchased a home in early January and from the start began rehab work. Finally, after many weeks of hard work we finally moved to the flooring phase thinking this would be quite easy to complete. Unfortunately, what we would find was that our hardwood floors were in absolutely horrible condition all because the old homeowners pets urinated on the carpet covered floors for many years. This discovery was a huge financial upset for us as we had a very strict budget to make the home habitable. After receiving 3 bids our frustration actually increased as the other companies tried to sell us on options we were unable to afford rather to look at our situation to find a solution to meet our needs and pocket books. We then proceeded to even weigh the options of attempting to do this ourselves. After careful consideration we realized that this almost impossible job needed to be done by a professional staff with professional equipment otherwise our slim chance of saving our hardwood floors would completely disappear. This is where we finally met Wojtek. I called CMS Floors as a last ditch effort in hope to find an honest and fair company which let me tell you there isn't many out there these days. To our astonishment Wojtek not only beat the competitor but took time out of his day that evening to come and bid our job last minute. Wojtek showed up on time as agreed and presented himself in a very professional yet approachable manner. Right off the bat deep down inside I crossed my fingers that the price would reflect the level of professionalism and expertise portrayed by Wojtek. After careful inspection of my floors Wojtek was very straight forward with me stating that he cannot guarantee that my floors can be salvaged as they were in very poor condition. Clearly I understood this and just hoped for the best as he promised that he would do his best to do whatever it takes to fix this issue. We decided to take his word for it which looking back now was a very good move on our part. As agreed the flooring crew arrived on time and began work. I even asked the two gentlemen if they could let my dog out later on that day; as I had to go to work and did not have the opportunity to stay with them the whole day. During the sanding stage I received calls from Wojtek with status updates along with picture messages to keep me informed on how my floor was progressing. Yet again unfortunately the bad news, our floors were so destroyed by the past owners that after multiple attempts to sand through the stains we decided it would be more wise to not continue with sanding and attempt to use a bleaching chemical to possibly lighten or even eliminate the stains. Of course, it didn't work so me, my wife, and Wojtek started to brainstorm on how to solve this puzzle keep in mind the rental unit upstairs had perfect floors and just our luck that our floor rather than our renters floor would have this problem. Finally, Wojtek recommended to stain the floors with Dark Walnut thinking it would cover up the stains and make the floors at least somewhat ok to stand. This is where the good news begins, the stain covered up all the blemishes and damaged wood and actually not only made the floor livable but it turned out better looking than expected. My wife definitely loves the floor now where before she was almost in tears. I can honestly say this success is direct representation of how good CMS Floors truly is. In addition, Wojtek understood that we had a large project on our hands and even gave us the option to come back and paint the final coat of varnish once we were fully complete with rehab and ready to move in. All in all, CMS Floors has a very competent staff which not only is professional but efficient. They work quickly however, slow enough to be detail oriented. They are honest hard working people that will meet and exceed your expectations on any size project. I will not only recommend them to all of my co-workers, friends and family but will definitely use them again without even thinking twice. CMS Floors Thank You !
