Had badly leaking tub faucet. Absolute sent out a plumber the same day. The plumber wanted to replace the faucet but we asked him to repair it. He took everything apart and had to go back to the shop to get parts. A few hours later the repair was completed but the handles were backwards (they did work but reversed from how they were before). We left it since it was functional.

All was GREAT! Doug came to my home to switch out an old bath tub spout, overflow, & drain. He's very patient, professional, & extremely kind. He explained everything that needed to be done and was sure to answer any questions. Jim(owner) was just as kind when I needed a questioned answered over the phone. The repairs were done in a timely manner and I'm VERY satisfied! This was my first time using them and surely won't be my last. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company to everyone. They have very FAIR PRICING & are pleasant to work with. Thanks Doug & Jim for OUTSTANDING work and pleasant attitudes!

The company came out for a new gaucet, waterheater, and garbage disposal. The worker Edwin put in new faucet and a badger garbage disposal. He went to the store and picked out a Mohen faucet. I did not go with him and later found out they do not let the customer go with them and pick out the faucet. There is a leak underneath the faucet once it is completed. I found it when washing my hands after he left. James was coming over to inspect the work after the work was complete. They did open the panel for the water heater and said it looked good. No water heater needed. When James arrived he inspected the faucet by turning it off and on and declaring there was no leak. I asked him if I could duplicate the issue by washing my hands again and that he may be able then to see that it is leaking. He asked how would I know. He then turns to me and states you are not going to pay me are you. I let him know, I will pay him I just want the job completed before I pay. He then states that he can put a lien on the home or take me to small claims court. He then just left the house and took off. He later stated he stated he had another appointment, I was never told he just took off. Two days later he called me. I let him know I found an issue with the garbage disposal. The metal that goes all the way around is pushed in. The vanity with the new faucet is still leaking. They had also taken the box for the garbage disposal and with it was the warranty. I do not have the warranty information. I still am unable to use sink and now have to call someone in to fix the issues that were left in the home.

"I am sorry the member is unhappy with the plumbing job that we did for her. I have been in business for 38 years and we do quality work. All work is done to code and materials meet all the standards. On February 22nd, 2017, we installed a new garbage disposal, bathroom faucet and pop up assembly. Our technician checked for leaks and there were none. She refused to pay for any of the work because she stated as soon as we leave, it was going to leak. The next day, she called at 8am and said that the sink was leaking. I explained to her that I was in Wisconsin at the time and that I was not able to go to Vernon Hills, IL until 3:30pm. Between 8am and 3:30pm, she called me 18 times. I answered each time with respect and understanding as I explained to her I would be there at 3:30 in the afternoon. She stated on the 18th time she called, that if somebody had called her 18 times she would be "irate and go ballistic." I was there at 3:30pm as scheduled. I looked at the sink and the sink was not leaking as she had stated. So, I placed paper towels under the sink and let the water run for 20 minutes. There was still no leak. Her response was "It does not leak when you're here. It leaks when you're not here." She also said that I let the water run too long because it only leaks when she washes her hands and that it leaks only when little water is run. In the next month and a half, I have spent at least 40 hours on the phone with her trying to resolve this issue. I even offered to just let her pay for the parts that were used. She agreed she would only pay for the parts, but never sent the money. After many more phone calls, I decided that I would put a lien on her house because I told her from the beginning of this issue that if she did not pay, I would have no choice to put a lien on her house or take her to small claims court. I told her this at least five times. So, on April 6th, 2017, I put a lien on her house. Again, I apologize for the situation coming to this, but I had no choice. Attached to this email are pictures of the sink."

All they did was unclogged a toilet it took them five minutes from the time they showed up they haven't quote me a price before hand and so they waited afterwards to see how it was going to cost.

Owner gave us an estimate over the phone. This was a Sunday! Extremely fair and helpful owner. Plumber showed up in about ½ hour. This individual worked for the company for 15 years. Everything went smoothly and the price never charged. We had a new H2O heater in 3 hours. Great company!!

After Absolute plumbing replaces the cartridge I get a knocking sound after turning off or turning on the faucet. I get the knocking sound in the faucet where the cartridge was replaced and the bathroom right next to it. This company refuses to say that they caused the knocking sound and want me to pay them again to fix the knocking sound. Totally unsat and not professional at all. Will never call them again.

.I called Absolute Plumbing when I discovered I couldn't completely turn off my outside faucet and sub-zero temps were on the way. I dealt with Absolute about 20 years ago, when it was called Lane's Water, Sewer and Septics. Still the same owners, and Tony has been with the company 15 years. He came promptly, cut off the old faucet (which already was beginning to freeze) and installed a new one. He then tested the lines and made sure all outside hoses were disconnected. He gave me a 10% senior discount and when I asked why the prices were so high compared with 20 years ago, he told me that the faucet cost $45.00 and of the remaining $180.00, thirty percent went to insurance. He said plumbers and electricians pay the highest rate of insurance, in order to protect the homeowner. I feel it was a cheap price to pay to prevent a flooded basement.

Fast efficient service! Noticed leak at 10pm and called right away. Plumber was here the very next morning at 9am. A quick look and he determined it was a valve. Job was complete in an hour.

I have used them twice. I like them when they provided the quote that was very reasonable. The first guy was nice, but I think the second overcharged. The first guy who came over and gave me a quote with no charge. I do not thing that I will use them again in the future. Overall, they have a B because of the overcharge. The work was done fine, the work was good. I do not know if they sub-contract to another company. It is not the same people for all the time. The freelancing is fine as the job is done properly. But, that will charge too much. It seems like they just call someone who is available for working,...
