Description of Work: Furnace would not stay on. The man diagnosed that a part on my furnace needed cleaning (sensor). Done in 15 min. Very professional. Dornbos is expensive, they are a union shop. However they are very professional and can always fix the problem.

Description of Work: I placed a call to Doornbos because the furnace would not turn on. I received a call from the repairmen within a half hour and he arrived at my house within the hour. The thermostat needed to be replaced and he installed a new one immediately. The repairmen was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I will definitely use their services in the future.

Description of Work: My air conditioner broker. A service man came out and said it was 18 years old and could not be repaired. (I has just moved into the house in the prior year, late August). He told me I had a 1.5 ton A/C unit and he would have someone call me about the cost of replacing it. Another person from the firm called me within an hour and came to the house the same day. He tried to see me a 2.5 ton A/C to replace the 1.5 ton. I told him I was sure the current unit was 1.5 ton...he told me I was incorrect. I told him I would think about it. I called another firm and replaced the A/C with the same size unit at significantly less money than the quote I received from the sales person.

Description of Work: Mike the service technician arrived on time, he spent one and half hours cleaning and replacing worn parts, he even took his shoes off when walking through house, I would definitely recommend doornbos for heating service.

Description of Work: Excellent excellent work. Doornbos employees were very professional. Furnace and AC unit were installed on time and there workers cleaned up as if they were never there. I would recommend them for any job large or small.

Description of Work: My air conditioning wouldn't work last weekend (Saturday-the hottest day of the year). I called Doornbos on a spur of the moment and they came out the very next morning to accommodate me. Larry arrived early, fixed the problem that I was having with the unit blowing primarily hot air and they only charged me $109. In comparison, another company came out and told me that I needed a new combo furnace/air conditioning unit. This other company recommended a Carrier combo unit for $8,000. They even said that they'll "give me a year's financing at 0% interest". Then the service persion tried to rush me into signing the contract and scheduling them to come out the same day to replace my current unit because it was a serious problem. How nice of them! Larry at Doornbos inspected the unit and said it was in good shape and all I needed to do was to keep the maintenance up and I'll be fine. Lesson-don't be afraid of getting a second and even a third or fourth opinion. Look at what it saved me-close to $8000. Thank you Doornbos!
