I highly recommend Alsip Roofing! My mom’s roof was leaking despite the fact that it had been repaired a couple of years ago. Mike, the owner of the company, and his son used a drone to examine the roof and discovered that the prior roofer never replaced the shingles after attempting to repair the leak around the skylight. That roofer charged $12,000, which my mom paid through her insurance. Mike gave me an estimate of $3,000 and completed the job within a week. The workers were professional and efficient. The work was completed in less than three hours. It rained yesterday and there was no leak. I can’t express how grateful I am to have found such a reliable, competent and honest company.

Alsip Roofing came out and used their drone to inspect my roof and showed me the condition of the roof including the damaged areas, what repairs were needed, how they would repair it, the materials they would use and texted me a proposal within 24 hours. The price was reasonable, I needed some time to get the financing together and they honored that price and worked with me to make sure it wouldn't break my bank. The job itself was done in a timely and professional manner and they guaranteed their work. It rained a couple days after the job was done and the ceiling in my back bedroom no longer leaks. I'm glad I chose Alsip Roofing and would recommend them to anyone needing roof work done.

Rudy and Mike (son and father) came out promptly on Friday with a drone to take a look at the building when we were in the middle of 3' snow drifts and 12"-14" of snow on the rooftop. Later that afternoon, as promised, they emailed a bid, $2,650, which was a several hundred less than another company who didn't come out, but went by satellite images and my description. They wanted to come out that Sunday or Monday to address the leak (weather permitting), but I had read online that it is not ideal to do flat roof repairs unless it is at least 40 degrees. They accommodated my request to wait a week until it was warming up (39-42 degrees). Rudy called the night before to confirm that they were coming. It's impressive that they confirmed before arriving on time (in comparison to the 2 handyman companies who are rated decently on Home Advisors; but, did not show up to give estimates on the internal damage on Monday, rescheduled for Wednesday, but didn't show up again --no call or explaination). So, I really appreciate Alsip's customer service! After the repair, which took about 5 hours, they sent me photos of their work . The only thing that would have been more helpful is if they had taken photos for my insurance company claim (which, I requested) prior to patching the roof. As it stands, since there is no proof of gaping holes from wind or hail, the cost is fully on us. So, that's a disappointment. A week later, Rudy called to check on whether there was further leakage; but since it hasn't rained and they removed all the snow on the rooftop, I could not confirm. But, I am confident, given my experience so far, that Alsip will stand behind their 2 year warranty. Thanks, Rudy, Mike and crew!

Alsip roofing came out and removed the snow and ice dam on our roof yesterday. They did their best to get out here as soon as they could and responded promptly to my calls and texts. They did a great job of removing it and cleaned up the mess. I would recommend them.

These guys are fantastic! Knowledgable and, showed up right on time to take a look yesterday. Checked out my problem and came up with a solution immediately, quoted me a very reasonable price for the work, and arrived this morning to get the work done before the wet weather arrives. This crew is top-notch...and consistent with the reviews so I know they are the real deal! I contacted several roofers, 2 of which I engaged in conversation about 1)repairing a smaller leak 2) Getting lined up for a full roof replacement in the Spring/ Summer. Alsip was the only one that actually came out rather than only relying on what I said or satellite pictures which is good because I am a professional in MY line of work, not roofs, lol. Rudy was stellar on the phone and Mike (?) led the conversation on-site. My expectations of cost were waaaay off as shown by my conversations with both roofing companies. Mike took the time to show me exactly what was going on with my roof and shared his recommendation. He explained the process and his warranty. He painted a picture that performing this work can be done at the cost I was initially prepared to spend with just a regular handyperson but that the work would not be guaranteed, other issues could arise, or the problem could be made worse with the bare minimum I was looking for. I am very excited that no matter what happens this winter (flat damaged roof plus wet heavy snow) the work they did is guaranteed. Additionally, he set me up so that should I choose to work with his crew again down the road, I would receive a credit to those repairs. All in all, Alsip Roofing took a scary situation and made it so much easier to digest with information. They were present, communicative and came back the very next day, 9am on the dot to perform the work. My initial call was Thursday, estimate on Friday, work on Saturday, done! The individual that did the work was also very kind, informative, prompt, and professional. I will have absolutely no issue contacting this crew again when I'm ready for that larger job! Additionally, I would completely recommend them to my neighbors! I learned, not every company will do a flat roof so I take comfort in knowing they did the work and will stand by their repairs and I have no concerns that I'll have any difficulty with reaching them for questions moving forward. They truly earned their 5 stars and my recommendation!

I had a great experience with Alsip Roofing. They were very responsive and professional throughout. After contacting them they were at my place in less than 24 hours and a couple days after the job was done. If I have another problem with the roof I will use their service again.

Mike and Rudy from Alsip Roofing visited, completely discussed the projects, made suggestions, submitted their bid that evening, and were able to schedule us within a week. Their bid was competitive. Mike's 37 years experience and their follow-up after the quote sold us on Alsip Roofing. Their crew arrived on time, approached the various parts of the project systemically and professionally. They were respectful and courteous, identifying issues after the old roof was removed. Mike and Rudy were on site with the crew. They went to get the additional supplies needed to repair the damaged underlayment, without additional charge. Early afternoon, additional crew members who wrapped up another jobsite, joined this crew seamlessly, working their way through all the remaining parts of the project, including installing gutter guards. Cleanup was thorough! The flat room on the room addition looks better than it ever has, and was completed in a day, prior to approaching winter. The repairs to shingles in two other areas matched the existing roof wonderfully. The new oversized gutters with gutter guards, look fantastic. The house is ready for fall and winter!

Rudy and Mike responded to our initial phone call and came out the same day to give an estimate! Since we had a leak in our flat roof they were more than willing to repair our roof immediately! They were knowledgeable and the work completed was done professionally! The work also came with a 5 year warranty! We would use them again with any roof issues we encounter in the future!
