I was very pleased with the work and service Carter's Upholstery did for me in 2012. However, when I tried to hire him again last month, the experience was completely different. I made numerous calls trying to set up a time when I could take my project to him. (He would not come to my home to see the ottoman and arm covers I needed to have recovered/sewn.) I finally (after about three calls) thought I had a time set up, but when I called to confirm, he was not there, and never returned my call. I understand if he didn't consider the second project worth his time, but wish he had just told me that and not made me waste my time trying to schedule "appointments" with him. After two weeks with no success, I gave up and hired someone else---this upholsterer kindly came to my home, gave me an estimate, came back again a few hours later with samples, and got everything taken care of.
Description of Work: First contact in 2012: Upholstered window seat and made some matching pillows. Second contact in 2015: NOTHING!
