The best thing I can say about the service is that he did not take down any fences. There was a medium size tree in the corner of the yard which was cut down (no stump grinding) and cut into mostly reasonably sized logs. However, he "cleared" the area but chainsawing down the raspberry bushes several feet away. There was no communication that these would be removed. Then he was schedule to remove 12 poplar trees along the back of the property. When I counted and only 7 were removed, he agreed to go back and take out more. When he said he finished, I paid him. Then my mistake that I didn't check before he left and found out he removed a 3 year old apple tree that was not near the popular trees. If I had to do it over again, I would mark every tree that he was to remove. A tree expert should know a poplar from an apple tree and now I have to buy replacement. Additionally, paid $50 in 'clean up fee' as he was to cut those poplar into 6 foot sections. None of the back trees were cut into pieces- only felled to the ground and left where they landed. Feels like that cleanup fee was bogus.
