ACTION ROOTER SVC

He took approximately 40 minutes to complete the job. I was told by the secretary when I called that he was doing a job in Aberdeen and that he could stop by after that. The hwy he would of had to taken to drive back to his business in Blackfoot is 1/2 mile away from my house. So I thought great! He will drive right by my place pretty much on his way back to Blackfoot. I get home from work and my husband tells me that we were charged $135.00 dollars. I was shocked, so I called the secretary the next day to question the charges. She told me that he went from Aberdeen to Pocatello and then came to my house. I told her that he drove right past my house more or less ( 1/2 mile off his path), on his way TO Pocatello. So why didn't he stop by my place first? Poor planning? I don't know and she really didn't answer that question with any logic either. So I was charged for 40 miles mileage, when I am actually 32 miles out of Blackfoot and should of only been charged for 1 mile if he would of just stopped by my house on his way to Pocatello, I mean it wasn't a BIG job, the man used a plunger, that is it, no other equipment except for a towel and screwdriver. And I was charged $95.00 dollars for that plunger and screwdriver and towel usage. So needless to say, I feel this company took totally advantage of me, he could of cared about a returning customer (I used them two years ago), and just stopped on his way to Pocatello, but how I perceive it, it was a way for them to rip me off for mileage. I don't mind paying for a good job, but I don't appreciate being taken advantage of and more or less being taken for a "chump". My plumber lives in Pocatello and he has never charged me this rate. So I advise all possible consumers of this business....GET A QUOTE FIRST AND BUYER BEWARE.
