My husband and I worked with The Tyler Osby Team for now a second time in purchasing our second home. Again, Tyler and his team exceeded our expectations! Just like our first experience with them, they made it a very simple, quick, and easy process. They are a very knowledgeable, trustworthy and honest company to work with and were ALWAYS available to answer any questions we had in a prompt manner. We AGAIN highly recommend their service for your mortgage needs!

The team did an awesome job. Everything was explained to us and we never felt unsure or frightened about buying our first home. They sent us weekly email updates about the status of our loan, and worked directly with our realtor to make sure that all required paperwork for our mortgage was received and in place. I had no idea buying a home would be so easy!

Really, really great experience working with The Tyler Osby Team! So much good information can be found on the website, which is awesome, but I greatly appreciated the detailed email communication -- not only were they very quick to respond (at pretty much any hour of the day or night) but they always answered all of our questions and explained the "whys" behind everything. It all started with a quick online application, followed by a quick meeting to go over a few details, go over a few numbers and explain the remainder of the process. After that, we received weekly updates on the entire process until our final closing day. Super easy, thorough , organized and successful! If we ever have an opportunity to refer our friends or family, we will and if we ever need help with a mortgage/refinance in the future, we'll work with Tyler Osby and his team. Thank you!

My husband and I are first time homebuyers who started thinking about buying a house in Spring of 2016. We attended Tyler’s first time homebuyer workshop where we learned A LOT about the steps involved with buying a home. After running some numbers, we decided to wait for a while to pursue anything. Tyler asked when he should follow up and we told him to in the Fall. We got a nice casual check-in email in the Fall, but we still were not ready. Tyler was very understanding throughout this time and asked again when to follow-up. This time we told him in the Spring of 2017, but we actually ended up contacting him before that. This is one of the best things about Tyler and his team – they don’t pressure into doing something you aren’t ready to do, and they actually follow-up! Tyler was also able to refer us to a great real estate agent! We completed the application and had a one-on-one call within a day or two. We felt a lot more confident going into house-hunting knowing that we were fully pre-approved and had Tyler and his team on our side. They laid out everything we needed to send them, sign, and do in a very organized manner and were very easy to get ahold of whenever needed. We are so glad we chose to work with Tyler and his team. Just like they promised – we closed on time, under budget, and with no surprises. We wouldn’t recommend anyone but Tyler and his team to first time homebuyers, or really anyone looking to buy a home.

Buying my first home could have been extremely overwhelming and scary, instead Tyler and his team made everything extremely streamlined and simple. They are very attentive, even on the weekend to make sure you are pre-approved and have everything in line to make an offer on the house that is right for you. The helpful and detailed weekly updates ensure all parties are on the same page through the entire home-buying process. It went great, Tyler and his team were very friendly informative, and tied for most importantly, quick to reply and prompt. They were also courteous enough to laugh at all the lame jokes I know they hear day in day out for the entire time they've been in the businesses. Laughing at those sort of jokes still takes dedication. When we buy again, I will definitely be using them again and using the same jokes again.

The Tyler Osby Team was amazing to work with. It started with a phone call wondering if it would be possible for us to even consider moving. The team requested all financial information from us and let us know (rather quickly) what we would be able to qualify for. We started looking at houses, just looking, because we were not sure if we wanted to buy or not. Within a month (roughly) we found a house we fell in love with. The team was on top of everything once the offer was accepted for the house we were purchasing. Tyler and his team were able to stand by their motto "On time. Under budget. No surprises." The biggest thing I was amazed by was the response time from either Tyler himself or someone from the team. Sometimes emails were sent in the middle of the night and on the weekends. I don't know many companies that will take the time to do that. Painless proces! I would HIGHLY recommend The tyler Osby Team to anyone looking for help with financing! I was scared and worried about getting the financing in place to buy my dream home. I shouldn’t have been because I had already taken the right first step - by contacting Tyler Osby! The Tyler Osby team members were highly professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. They were perceptive to my concerns and needs and helped me find the best loan package for my situation. My home buying experience with them was easy, educational, and, believe it or not, fun! I highly recommend Tyler Osby and his team of experts!

After hearing so many horror stories about the financing part of the home buying process I was a bit nervous about finding the right lender. I could not have been happier with Tyler Osby and his team! They went above and beyond from the first day I contacted them, always responding incredibly fast to my questions (even on nights and weekends!), taking the time to explain anything I had questions about and never being dismissive of any of my concerns. Once I found my house and started the buying process I receive weekly updates of every step in the process, when it was expected to be completed and where we were at with it. The weekly updates and the incredibly quick responses to any communication I sent were completely unexpected and made the process go very smoothly. The closing was completed right on time and under budget. Because of all the extra work his internal underwriters go through there were no surprises and no last minute questions to cause extra stress. On the day of the closing I was in and out in 30 minutes and having lunch in my new house the same day! I also attended one of the First Time Home Buyer seminars Tyler Osby puts on and found it immensely helpful for making me feel more confident and comfortable throughout the entire process. I recommend it to anyone in the Des Moines area who is looking into buying a home, no matter what lender you plan on using. Working with the Tyler Osby team was easily the best decision we made while purchasing our first home. My husband and I started out the process thinking we were ready to buy a house and met with a realtor who had informed us of the first time homebuyers class that Tyler had to offer. We attended the class and learned the steps to buying a house. It was a very helpful class for us as we had no previous knowledge of how buying a house even worked. My husband and I decided to wait for about a year to actually continue our home buying pursuit. We paid off a lot of debt in that year and came back this year ready to go. We considered looking for other options of financing, but quickly we were reminded of Tyler and his teams consistency and ability to work with you as a client. Tyler and his team made the mortgage side of buying our new home a breeze. Weekly email updates kept us on track of the process. Also it was nice to know answers were just an email away. Tyler and his team made the purchase of our first home a breeze! His entire team worked to make sure we knew all the ins and outs of what was happening, as well as answering my 200 questions (at a minimum). This amazing team looked beyond our friendship, and made sure that we felt like we were the only clients (although I know we weren't, since there was a closing about 5 minutes after us).They are truly skilled at what they do. Tyler and his team are very knowledgeable with the home buying process. We were new to home buying so Tyler invited us to a workshop to explain more about the process and answer questions we had (I recommend people go to this even if they aren't new home buyers). They broke the process up into several steps so we knew what was expected when. When it was time for our closing date we knew exactly how much it was going to cost and there were no hidden surprises.
