I rented a unit from them for about 2 1/2 years. Whenever minor repairs needed to be completed, they would not return calls or even follow through. When I moved out, they kept over half of my security deposit, claiming I left the unit in such terrible shape that they had to have "professional" cleaners come in. I cleaned the unit top to bottom, and hired carpet cleaners. Needless to say, I left the unit clean. They claimed things that are considered normal wear and tear (i.e. dirty walls, dirty windows on the outside, etc.) I should have paid to have cleaned. I tried to contact the company for an explanation, and to see if we could work something, but they were unresponsive. I had to go to their office in person to talk to some one, where even then they refused to give me any type of explanation. I ended up taking them to small claims court, and found out they didn't even follow the Hawaii Landlord-Tenant laws. Also, the "professional" cleaner they supposedly used didn't even have a phone number connected to them, and the address was a residence address.
