Terry's Precision Piano Tuning

Terry did a fabulous job. I couldn't be happier. I bought an Angie's coupon, and owed nothing at the visit. It was a smooth and easy scheduling process. He appreciated the quality of my piano - the touch is special to me and Terry could tell that it has a soft touch! You will not be sorry you hired him. Smooth sailing and excellent job. I will have him back in the future to tune next time.

If I could give him an A+ I would. He expertly tuned my piano. It had not been tuned for so many years that he had to leave and return a few hours later to complete the job. The strings would have broken if he had tried to tune it during the first trip. I was just so pleased with the level of service. Not only that, he was so friendly and fun to talk with!

Terry was excellent. There is a reason that he has 100% excellent reviews. Well here is another. Terry loves what he does. Terry is good at what he does. Terry knows what he his doing and is very professional in doing it. We will use Terry again in a year or two when we next have our piano tuned. Thanks, great work.

Terry was pleasant, expert in what he did, fulfilled his commitment, and made the experience a good one. It was a stifling hot day but he never complained once. I didn't know anything about him before choosing his services from Angie's list. He convinced me he knows his business and he will definitely be my piano technician and tuner going forward.

Terry responded promptly to our Angie's List message. He arrived on time and he did an excellent job of tuning our piano. He was extremely easy to work with, explaining what he was doing and why, each step of the way. We are going to have to sell our beauty, due to an upcoming move and downsizing, so Terry was happy to give us a ballpark estimate of its value and made recommendations on where to advertise for the best results. We would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs their piano tuned, and we will call him again, if we need our piano serviced in the future.

I posted a message on Angie's list requesting a tuning but since I wanted to make an appt right away and not sure how long before I would hear back, I went ahead a called. Terry had already received the message from Anglies list and gave me a number of options for coming. He explained his method and didn't mind traveling the distance required to our home. He did a very thorough tuning of our baby grand piano. We will recommend him to anyone we know needing this service and we will be calling him next time we need the piano tuned.

I won't use anyone but him. He's great. He's just the top. Our piano was in a pretty bad shape. We spent less than we thought we would.

Terry was polite and was able to work with my schedule. He showed up on time, was neatly dressed and professional.. He clearly loves his work and was very pleasant. He even referred me to someone so I could start taking piano lessons.

Terry arrived a few minutes early and was very thorough and professional. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why. He also gave suggestions on how to care for my piano.

Terry is awesome. I was a music teacher in college. I have had a guy who used to tune our pianos in Arizona, and he would come all the way from California. This guy was a Liberace tuner, but Terry is better than this guy who tunes Liberace tuner. Terry is professional, we talked about music, he did things to the piano, that weren't done by this other guy. He was awesome. I won't use anybody else to come and tune my piano. He charged $125 per piano, and that is cheap. He takes the top off, and everything apart. He did a good job. He is personable, and extremely knowledgeable. I found him through Angie's List and other people talking about him. He called me the day before, to remind me that he was coming. I am thrilled.

We were impressed with Terry from the get go. He arrived on time, was extremely pleasant, unassuming and personable. He was obviously quite knowledgeable about pianos. We felt his price was extremely fair and well worth it. My wife has been playing her piano more in the past three weeks than she has played in the past six months!

It was easy to set an appointment with Terry and he was flexible with his availability. Terry called earlier in the day to confirm and was prompt for the appointment. He did an excellent job and makes you feel very comfortable if you are interested in watching the process. You can tell Terry does this as a labor of love and it shows in his work. I would recommend Terry in a heartbeat!

He spent over 3 hours on the piano, even tightened the legs of the piano bench. My wife was a music major in college and was quite impressed with Terry. She stated that that was the best, most thorough, tuning that the piano had experienced in over 40 years. He repaired the music stand and adjusted the keyboard cover. She was thrilled with the work.

It was a very pleasant experience. Terry explained what he was doing and spent over 2 hours tuning my piano. It was sorely out of tune and now sounds great. He was conscientious, very polite and it is evident that he enjoys what he is doing.

Terry has made 3 visits to our home and performed several different maintenance and repairs. He replaced some wires, filed the keys, repaired and oiled the action, applied a finish to the keys, repaired a chip in the music stand. He had to take some parts out to take home to repair. He has always been prompt and thorough.

Once I contacted Terry by phone, we set an appointment. He was on time, professional, and friendly. The piano had gone through several moves along with 21 years with no tuning. Terry took about an hour and a half to thoroughly inspect and tune my Story and Clark Piano. I will use him again in the future and recommend him to anyone and everyone who owns a piano. I am pleased that this was a good experience.

Words cannot describe how pleased I am with a Terry?s service. He spent over two hours working on my baby grand and when he finished it sounded great. He was not at all bothered by me observing his work and asking question after question. He tuned the piano with both a machine and by ear. He also gave me lots of tips of how to care for and maintain my piano ? many I have never heard before or thought of. Lastly, he offers a discount to Angie?s List members so be sure to mention it when you call him.

He was very good, and friendly. He has a standard price for tuning, but gave me a deal because I gave him an organ. The piano had not been tuned for a long time, and it sounded bad, so he tuned it first, and then came back a week later and did it again. I don't know why he did it that way, maybe there is a reason for waiting a week or something. Him and I knew people and that was really nice that we knew people mutually. The price was excellent, because I had compared him to another company, and his price was very good.

He was punctual, professional, and personable. His rates were less than I had expected and he did a terrific and thorough job. He clearly likes his job and takes pride in his work. I was very pleased.

I called and left message and Terry called me back w/I 30 minutes. I did not call anyone else or go price shopping and set up the appointment immediately. All his ratings were excellent, he was very pleasant and made me feel very comfortable. He spoke professionally and told me his experience. Punctual, courteous and professional. He had no problem with me looking over his shoulder and he gave me an education and quickly diagnosed my concerns. He did not rush and it is evident he enjoys what he does confidently and thoroughly. He handled my family heirloom with care, even tightened screws on bench and seemed to look and see if there was anything else that needed adjustments. He introduced me to a finish that made a big difference to cover blemishes and give a nice look. I was concerned when he pulled out a piece of steel wool and explained that steel wool was like sandpaper in various grit strength. He even left me a few. So I made lunch, had a great conversation and he told me cost and did not question just paid him with a smile. I have sat and played for a couple of hours since he left and it sounds great to me. The problem is the dogs are howling and family will be home soon. Thank you Terry!

He took almost two hours to tune my piano. He was professionalism itself from the time he arrived until he left. He gave me several helpful hints on keeping my piano clean, working well, and inviting to others. He will be my piano person from now on. Thanks Angue's list.

Great overall experience. He took a day or two to get back to me, but being a 1-man crew, that's understandable (as it also keeps prices down for not employing any receptionist or anything). He was very punctual. He quickly got to work and did a great job tuning it. He even fixed a little cloth problem on our practice pedal. Overall great work.

Terry was very professional and knowledgeable. He returned my call promptly and scheduled me within a week. He tuned the piano and fixed a couple of minor issues along the way (pencils and paper clips that had fallen into the interior and were affecting the damper pedal). The tuning was excellent and he was very good about informing me of the overall condition of the piano.

Terry did a fantastic job. He was flexible with his availability and was able to find a time that worked for both of us within a week of me reaching out to him. He explained to me clearly over the phone his fixed pricing and estimated how long the job generally takes. My piano was older so a few strings broke in the process and he repaired them and tuned them to perfection. The job took longer than expected but Terry apologized for it and maintained the flat price he had mentioned over the phone. He even came back the following week to make sure the new strings were still in tune and adjusted them accordingly at no additional cost! There is no question I will trust Terry with my piano in the future.
