I came to the initial meeting with a list of properties we wanted to see, and I sent a few others via email after that, but I never got any from the realtor. When we viewed homes the realtor provided no information or even small talk. He wasn't particularly friendly or professional. He was simply there to open the door and lock it up again. He was even late to our first showing with him and didn't call. When we found one we liked, we talked about putting in an offer, only to find out it was already under contract. I felt like he didn't do his homework... you should know the status of the property first, right? When I questioned why that would happen he told me to just start dealing with listing agents directly and wished me luck with my search. I'm glad he "fired" me because I was going to "fire" him anyway. I then found a great realtor who was very friendly, professional, and helpful who helped us find a home in only two days.
