Very fast callback and got us on the schedule immediately (thanks, Alan). Charles was friendly, professional, and educated me about our system (at no extra charge!). While he wasn't able to complete the job, he gave me excellent pointers on what to tell my septic pro. We would recommend and will hire Ridgeway Mechanical any time.

Excellent and prompt work!

I was in a jam when my water heater went out and I sent them the old model specs and the new model specs in the home advisor job request, but no one seem to look at it or even have any idea what the job details were. The tech got on the job and complained that the water heater was a little larger and he would have to do some plumbing work to put the new one in the exact location, he called the main office and they agreed it was too hard. The next issue I had is the tech never once took out his tape measure or level when cutting or installing the new copper pipe feed lines, and everything was crooked and non-level which looks like a non-plumber DIY put it in. I will say the tech seems to be good when working with the gas pipes, but that is about it. Also at the end of the job after he left we had air in our lines for a long time, seems like a pro would have limited the air into our water lines or would have purged this air. Their service level was good, but plumber installation quality and the ability to do professional plumbing were limited. So if you are looking for a plumbing job that is a straight same model replacement then I would say they can be considered, but anything more than that I would look elsewhere.

Ridgeway Mechanical was extremely responsive and within a couple of hours of calling, Charles was at my house. He was so nice and pleasant and even thought the problem turned out not to be a plumbing issue at all, he was able to explain to me so I understood, fix it rather quickly and provide suggestions to prevent the problem in the future. Amazing service! I would definitely use again!

Fast service and very reasonable price. I called in the morning and by noon they were replacing the water heater. They did an excellent job.

Prompt, courteous and knowledgeable, cleaned up after themselves. I purchased my new hot water heater from Ridgeway, and they did all the work, and took the old one away.

I was impressed at the speed in which they were able to schedule and complete this project. The installer and his team worked very hard and carried themselves in a professional manner. The work that was to be preformed was discussed in detailed and all of my questions and concerns were answered verbally but not written down to the level of specificity that I had wanted. Some companies don't spend the time doing the extra paperwork others do. When the materials came and job began I was a bit surprised at some of the materials that were to be used however since this was not exactly specified in the work order I was only going on my on faulty assumption. At the time of installation I had to make some changes and now I have some concerns about the job, whether it will provide the type of permanent fix that I want because the materials used was not exactly what I had envisioned. The installer and his team were easy to work with and seemed trustworthy. Other than the lack of specific written details as to the materials and exact description with drawings of the work to be performed I felt that they did an adequate job. The main installer stated several times that the work and materials used would accomplish what I want so I have to wait and see. My only concern is whether the job and materials will do what I am expecting and I won't know that until the next couple of big rains.

David, the plumber who came out was prompt, was able to buy my hot water heater from Ridgeway, which saved me money. Install was quickly done, old water heater was taken away, and clean up was done prior to him leaving. Great company to work with! I have used them for several major projects as well.

Came out the same day and technician, David, did not stop until he found the blockage and broke it up. I have old iron pipes and obviously the former owners put grease down them which built up over the years. I had him quote me replacing the sewer pipes from house to septic, gave me a fair price and we booked it for the next day, along with a new gas hot water heater, a back flow valve, and replacing the drain for my washer (which was piped to the yard). Very prompt, courteous, cleaned up behind himself. This is the 3rd time I have needed plumbing, and I would wait if need be to have this wonderful team of experts do the job.

overcharged for job, I felt like I was being taken advantage of. was desperate for help. charged $400 for same job I had done previously for $160. job took no more 45 minutes. showed up quickly, but wished I would have waited until next day. sure I could have gotten better price. would not hire again.

We had a water leak in our front yard, I contact Ridgeway Mechanical,I was greeted with great customer service an within 2.5 hours after getting off the phone with them the leak was fixed and my water was back on.

I would have liked them to go over the pricing before performing the work.
