Description of Work: Service was excellent. Billy called when he was on the way and arrived when he said he was. He was very pleasant and told me how long it would take. During the first visit he measured the glass and figured out the type of pane. He told me it would take a week and it did. Again, he called in the morning to give me a 2 hour window and he arrived as he said he would. He was very professional and explained each step. I would recommend the company and not hesitate to use them again.

Description of Work: They replaced a double pane window glass. They are the only company that accepted that I drop off the sash with the broken glass at their shop for the repair. All others wanted to come to my house, measure the glass, and come back a few days later to install it, for about $250.

Description of Work: Replaced a second floor bathroom window; seal had failed. Unable to access window from the roof as the slope was too steep. Actually had to break glass panes from inside and "saw" the window out. Steve, the installer was professional, cleaned up all the glass inside the bathroom and outside .

Description of Work: They installed a new windshield in my car. The first technician did not install all of the hardware correctly that mounts the moulding along the vertical posts. Even after a second attempt by the same technician, the moulding was still incorrect. The third trip out, another technician showed up with new hardware and moulding, and correctly installed. I don't understand why the first technician did not replace the old moulding/seal with new ones. Like the old saying goes, you didn't have time to do it right but had time to do it again. |I will say this, customer service is wonderful and technicians are johnny on the spot on time and prompt! GlassDoctor has the best warranty on materials and labor I have ever heard of. Maybe the issue that I had was a fluke do to and inexperienced technician, however, GlassDoctor took care of me and I would personally give them another chance in future business.

+ -1 moreThey were very good overall. I called quite a few companies, because I wanted to get this work completed as quickly as possible. In calling companies I found out that double paned windows typically need to be special ordered, and that it typically takes 5-7 days to get the glass. Many companies were actually longer than this, but Glass Doctor was in the 5 to 7 day range, and so I decided to go with them. They were able to give me an initial quote over the phone, and the sales person arrived promptly to measure the window. The firm quote that he provided me after actually seeing the window was within $5.00 of the original quote. Overall I was impressed with their service, and even though they aren't cheap, I found that for this service, it seems that everyone is around the same price point.
Description of Work: My house was broken into, and the burglar broke a 28 X 28 double paned window to get into the house. Glass Doctor came out and measured the window, ordered the glass, and installed it.

+ -1 moreThe representative showed up on time and date promised. They did fine work, cleaned up after themselves, and took away the broken glass. They are not cheap! They charged $190 to replace small door window glass and $90 for a small table protective glass. I would, however, use them again.
