Glass Doctor of Atlanta

I had the backdoor window smashed on my LR3 while my husband and I were out to dinner. We called Glass Doctor the next day, along with a few other glass replacement companies. Their pricing was in line with the others and they were rated best on Angie's List, so we went with them. They showed up when they said they would. They had the correct glass for my Rover (its a 2006) and they performed the service very efficiently and I've had NO problems since. I'll definitely use them again if needed. I only hope I don't need to (smile).

They were very prompt and helpful. I price matched to other vendors and they had the lowest price. I was running around all day and when the Tech was ready for me they called and then came to me at my office. They arrived very soon after calling and had everything cleaned up and in working order within an hour of his arrival at my office. I simply gave him my keys and went back to work. When the Tech was done he called me again; ran my credit card on his phone. Went over all of the work with me and the details of the work. Gave me two receipts and said if I had any issues again to please give them a call. I would recommend the Glass Doctor to anyone who might need auto or home work. My Husband used them years ago and they were even better than we remembered. Thank you!

I accepted the estimate and told them to go ahead. Within the expected timeframe, the glass arrived, Glass Doctor showed up on time, communicating well to set expectations. They pulled half of the door, replaced the large pane of glass, and reinstalled the door in just a few minutes. They obviously knew what they were doing, the door works fine--and now looks fine again. There was no mess, no fuss. I am completely satisfied, and will use them again should the need arise.

We had several estimates for two windows that were fogged and needed replaced. One was a small palladium semi-circle decorative window which was a special order, the other was a regular 36" double pane window. One estimate was more than Glass Doctor and they could not do it within the time frame we needed. We sold the house and the work had to be done before closing. Another company did not get back to me with the estimate until three days after they said they would. Even though the estimate was almost $100.00 less, we did not want to deal with someone who we considered unreliable since he promised to have the estimate to me the same day he measured. If he could not do that, how would I know he would have the job completed when promised? Glass Doctor came out, measured within 20 minutes, sent the estimate to my email within the half hour with time frame for install. We called them to order the window and get the ball rolling, looking at a 10 day order time and next day install. Sure enough, they called when it came in and scheduled the install for the next day. ,He called me several times during the day to let me know when to expect him and he was running late but that he would be there. That was great, I didn't care, as long as I knew what to expect and that the job would get done that day since closing was the next day. He came and had the windows installed in no time, took care to cover his feet in the house, cleaned up his work area and the windows were shining when he left. I had them install auto glass last year with the same result. Love them, would have them do all my glass work. It is accurate, timely and neat.

The Glass Doctor and Jim Bernstien was recommended to me by my tile installer Atlanta Tile. They were very responsive and they did a fantastic job for a great price. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!

When the consult and delivery/install was done I could not complain. They even worked with my schedule. They were very careful with coming into my home. Very professional!!!

It went well. On time and return for defect noted after the initial install.

My initial call was responded to promptly and courteously. The customer service rep asked me a couple of questions, told me that someone could come out that afternoon between 2 and 4PM, and gave me an approximate idea of cost... $190-200... but that it would depend on the job. The rep was within 15 minutes of the 4PM time when he called to say he was on his way and would be there shortly. About 25 minutes later he called again, saying there had been an accident which was delaying them. That happens, so I'm not marking them down on punctuality or timeliness even though they were slightly outside the window. After they looked at the window, they came up with an estimate of $214, close enough to the estimate provided over the phone, and said they could fix it on the spot... they had the materials they needed in the truck. They finished the work, collected payment, and were gone less than an hour later. The window was fixed well, but I was disappointed at the broken glass that was left behind, as well as other trash (the box the glass was in, etc...) which was left on an appliance box in the front yard. That, not the quality of the repair itself, is why I'm giving them a B. I would use them again because of their responsiveness and quality of repair, but I would look much more closely when it came to the ultimately clean-up.

Billy was very friendly. Did a great job. Installed the window panes without damaging any of the windows, cleaned up his mess, even cleaned the windows after installation. Job well done. Definitely will use Glass Doctor again if I need any work on any other windows.

We heartily recommend GlassDoctor for any glass project. Their technicians are well trained, neat, and thorough in their work. We got a lower price elsewhere, but the GlassDoctor warranty and quality of glass and installation made the choice an easy one. The owner of the franchise is a nice gentleman, and his staff is pleasant and easy to deal with. You won't go wrong using this company for your glass needs.

All appointments were made promptly and the workman arrived exactly on time. There were no delays and no re-schedules. I really appreciate the professional advise that I was given. The glazier, Billy, had the 2 new inserts installed in just a few days and explained the 5 year warranty. He was very professional and efficient; the doors now look perfect. I was also impressed that Billy carefully cleaned up after himself and cleaned the new glass inside and out. I was even given a free can of foam cleaner (Glass Doctor) and have now used it on mirrors etc.. Overall it was an excellent experience and I will not hestitate to call Glass Doctor again should the need arise. I am very impressed with Glass Doctor.

Overall the service and job done was great.

They were punctual and they did a good job. They offered me a club deal where I can get discounts in the future for further work.

The service went really well. They come out when they say they are going to and do what they say they are going to and when they say they are going to do it. It cost me what they said it was going to cost me. There wasn't a whole lot of competition.

They were really good. They had to replace the glass from outside the building. They needed equipment. They changed a couple of windows.

They were prompt in arriving, did a thorough job removing the broken window and installing a new one. The price was reasonable.

I called them Monday morning and they came that afternoon and fixed it for me. The guy was extremely friendly and professional. He did what he had to do, cleaned up all of his mess, which is always good, and was gone in less than an hour.

I came to the Norcross shop at 8:00am because all repair technicians are sent out to work in the field after about 8:30am. I saved about $30 by taking the car to their location. The work was completed in about 15 minutes resulting in a crack free windshield with no evidence of any damage. I would definitely recommend glass repairs for small chips as opposed to complete windshield replacement.

Did not pursue this company based on pricing.

Glass Doctor came out to my car to fix the window, which was convenient. I did have to call them back when they missed some broken glass in the door frame which was impairing the locking system. They came back out and resolved the problem. The overall work was satisfactory.

I was looking for someone to cut and install glass for my shower. Glass Doctor quoted me $2,300. I had it done by another glass guy for $750. However, since Glass Doctor required me to pay a $35 quote fee up front, I had them make some cuts to a mirror to recoup my expenses.

Needless to say, Glass Doctor did not have a chance at my business.

Charging for an estimate without even asking about the work is plain stupid.

The project went well. Glass Doctor came to my house for the measurement when they said they would and made good measurements. They had the glass ready for pickup 4 days later than they promised, but the delay didn't cause me any problem.
