Rich Hyde (owner) came when he said he would, performed the work as scheduled. Cleaned up afterwards so you could never even know he was here. I would use again.

Last spring another chimney repair company told us we had significant damage due to a chimney fire in 2009 and we should not use our fireplace again until it was repaired... to the tune of $3,200!!Although we called them back and said we wanted to make the repairs and after several promises to call back, we never heard from them again. We went to Home Adviser and found Metro House of Fire. They came out on time, Thomas and his partner were very knowledgeable and friendly and after a very thorough inspection, both by climbing up to look into our extremely high chimney and using their nifty camera, we were told there was NO damage and we could use the fireplace, no problem!! We are sooo glad the first company never called us back. THANK YOU Thomas and Metro House of Fire - we will be in touch when it is time to have the chimney cleaned!

American CGR came out and inspected and cleaned our fireplace. They also fixed some cracking in our fireplace box the same day after they found it during the inspection. Easy to work with and prices were very fair. They did not pressure us to get anything that we did not need. They laid out our options, gave us an honest and knowledgeable opinion on what should be done and what could wait, and let us make the decision. They were also able to come out very quickly after we called and were on time to the appointment. Would definitely recommend them to others and will give them a call when we update our gutters and roof. Great company.

I had to reschedule my appointment with them, and they were very accommodating. Came and cleaned the chimney, also let me know about a crack in the ceramic tile which they could repair while on site for an additional amount. Told me about some things to be aware of, but didn't try to get as much money as they could squeeze out on one visit.
