I had a leak coming down my concrete wall in my basement. John came over the day I called. He told me what he would do and gave an estimate. He did the work after telling me it needed to dry and some concrete removed. He told me how to remove it and said it was something I could do. I removed it and he came in and sealed the leak. He shared suggestions of how I may prevent a future leak. John was very professional and prompt. He came by exactly when he said each time.

ACS is great! They were excellent communicators throughout the process, provided and stepped through their recommendation, explained exactly what they would be doing from start to finish and delivered, against exactly what they said they would. John and his team were extremely professional and informative and were very respectful of our home. We would 100% hire, them again for other related work.

We contacted American Crawlspace solutions because we wanted to replace our old insulation. John came out and evaluated the crawlspace and gave us an estimate on the job. Initially we were only interested in the encapsulation for our crawlspace, however during John's inspection he detected some standing water underneath the house and advised us to look into doing the drainage system. After reviewing the cost we were not sure if we would be able to do both jobs at the same time due to the expense. After we thought about it my husband and I decided we would go ahead and just do the complete job all at one time so we could take care of our problem. John was great about answering all of my concerns, he even answered my call after business hours. We decided to move ahead with the job, John and his crew were very prompt and on time and completed the job a little a head of schedule. American Crawlspace is a very professional company and does exactly what they say they are going to do. I was impressed with the work and the company, I would recommend them to friends and family.

We've had a growing mildew and/or mold smell from our dirt crawlspaces, and our dehumidifier was overwhelmed. I looked at the DIY solutions, but the American Crawlspace quote was reasonable considering the value of my time. The work only took less than a day, and in just a few days the smell and the air quality has improved greatly. Would not hesitate to refer to any friends. Great professional operation. Thanks!

We had our crawlspace encapsulated by American Crawlspace Solutions. I am a very diligent consumer, educating myself as much as possible about the service I need to have done. John and Jeremy are two of the most gracious and helpful professionals I've hired. They spent a great deal of time on the phone answering my (probably too many) questions before and after they provided their quote. I cannot emphasize enough how patient they were and how easily they were able to explain the parts and process - they truly understand their craft. When I inquired about having other work done (french drains along the back side of the crawlspace), they took another look and and relayed that the work was not necessary. While they likely could have earned more money by selling me something I didn't need, they were honest in their evaluation. I am impressed by that type of business ethics. John and Jeremy were also at least $4000 less than other quotes from companies selling the "bells and whistles" that we didn't need. I was at work when the work in the crawlspace was done. John texted me when they arrived, texted some photos, and texted when they finished up. I highly recommend this company without any hesitation.

We did use American Crawlspace for the repair because the person that fixed it the first time came back to make it right (at his cost). John & Jeremy were amazing to work with. We had spent a lot of money on the repairs and the restoration when the leak happened again. John & Jeremy were so gracious to listen to us and gives us great advice. They would be our first choice if we needed help in this area again

I would highly recommend this company. My husband and I did a lot of research on crawlspace encapsulation and we were beyond pleased with the price and the quality of the work they did. Jeremy and John were very friendly and professional. They kept us filled in on every step of the process and finished the job in a very timely manner. Theirs is a business card we will be keeping.

Jeremy and American Crawlspace did a terrific job. The appointment was quick and easy to setup. The estimate was performed and the work was ordered. The explanation of what was needed and the worked that was to be performed was very through and Jeremy did a good job of answering all of our questions. I thought out of three contractors, his solution made the most sense and was very competitive cost wise. They did exactly what work we had ordered. The encapsulation went well and the clean-up was great. The basement no longer doesn't have a musty smell. And we are very happy to have all the debris and trash out of it. The job was done in a very professional manner. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

I had an issue with water coming into my basement from an unknown source and called them first thing Saturday morning. They promptly called me back and a rep was at my door within a couple of hrs. He did a great job finding the issue and educating me on the system / equipment that was in my house. I would definitely recommend them to others

It was great. John is a pleasure to work with. He was able to get to my house within a week to provide the estimate, and even gave me the name of a few competitors to price check against. He then came back and did the job a few weeks later. All of my interactions with John were pleasurable, I found him to be very honest, clear, and professional.

I was very impressed with John Harman of American Crawlspace. After the torrential rains of Monday, April 7 (we had 6" at our house), we had some water intrusion in our otherwise dry crawlspace. To complicate matters, our home was under contract for sale. We had disclosed previous water issues to the buyers but we thought we had addressed them since we had no water in the crawlspace since 2009. We immediately called several providers of crawlspace solutions. American Crawlspace was the first to call back. John was very responsive, answered my questions, and was able to work out a time to come by the next day and take a look. I explained the situation we were in and that we were trying to address the water and keep the buyer's concerns in check so we could close on the sale of our home. John understood and came by to evaluate the situation. He priced out three levels of solutions. He noted that the least expensive solution would be a simple basin and sump pump with a midlevel solution of a partial perimeter drain and the top end being a full perimeter drain. He explained that because of the way the water was getting in and where it was pooling, a full perimeter drain was not really needed. He felt the midlevel solution was the best option. We agreed and proposed that to the buyers. They had some concerns and called John, who spent some time explaining the options to them. In the end, they agreed with the proposal, and we have scheduled John's team to come by in the first full week of May 2014 to perform the work. I really couldn't be happier with John and his professionalism. He is definitely not in to useless upselling, and I can say he earned my trust. The next time I need a water proofing solution for a basement or crawlspace, I will definitely give him a call. I will update this review with more details after the work is completed. UPDATE: American Crawlspace arrived as promised and installed the French drain and sump pump in our crawl space. I couldn't be happier with the crew and their work. They were fast, efficient, clean, and friendly. John is a trustworthy vendor, and I would look no further for someone to help you with waterproofing issues. John and his crew finished the work in our crawlspace in less than half a day. They made NO mess outside of the crawlspace (no dirt in the yard anywhere). In the crawlspace, it was also difficult to tell they had been digging since they put the vapor barrier back as it had been. When the work was complete, John gave me a tour and pointed out all the work they did so I'd know what to tell our buyers. I am confident that the work that was done has addressed the issue, and I wouldn't hesitate using American Crawlspace again.

Great communication, John responded immediately to my request in Angie's List, came out right away to give estimate, detailed explanation of what would be done, good follow up, had a rain delay but that was already explained in advance why it would need to be dry to do the work, job was complete in 1 day, everything was spotless, you wouldn't have even known anyone had been there, all debris had been removed, great job! The price was very fair compared to other quotes I received.

Jeremy and his crew were great. Jeremy came out for the estimate. He was quick, clean and thorough. He laid out a minimum and maximum choice of service for me. He was never "pushy" or aggressive about the amount of service I chose to proceed with. Jeremy and his partner, as well as one other crew member, came for the install; approximately ten days after the estimate. They were all very professional. They got to work immediately, working diligently and rather quietly. In fact, I almost forgot they where there. After finishing (about three hours), Jeremy showed me all of the work and explained or answered any questions I had. Great guys, doing great work at a more than fair price. I'll would definitely hire them again in the future.

Went very well. We were pleased and impressed with their professionalism. Atlanta was beset with bad weather at the time they were scheduled to install so we had to reschedule twice. Our furnace had stopped working and needed to be replaced but we couldn't replace it until the sump pump was installed. The company was very aware of our predicament and made every effort to assist. We will definitely use them again.

I dealt with John Harman. I think he is a very nice person. He is hardworking and courteous. He came out and actually did a diagram of the basement. He was very hands on and didn't just look at it and make assumptions. The finished product was great and I am very much satisfied. I would recommend him to anyone.

Jeremy from American Crawlspace Solutions responded to my request for a quote quickly and provided a comprehensive quote after exploring my crawspacel for 30 minutes. All questions I had were answered, the plan presented met my expectations and offered options. I wanted a thicker barrier on the "floor" area and was told that it was a special order and might affect the installation wait. It did, but installation was started and completed quickly. Jeremy arrived on the installation day with his crew. It gave me confidence that the owner of the company was also installing the material and ensuring a quality job. The installation took one day, and that included removing old galvanized pipe, concrete rubble, extraneous furnace ductwork left behind, and sealing all of the existing vents. The floor was covered with 12 mil reinforced white barrier and the walls were covered with 10 mil clear barrier to provide easy inspection. After the crew left I crawled and inspected the job without putting on work clothes and was very satisfied with the installation and materials. Extra floor barrier was left for me in case the floor was damaged in the future. I have been very happy with all contractors I have hired after consulting Angie's List and American Crawlspace Solutions is one of the best!

Here is the scope of work:-clean out crawlspace-install a 23? French drain, sump basin/lid, and new sump pump.-install new outlet for pump-install a clear 10 mil wall liner to all crawlspace walls-seal any vents inside the crawlspace-install a white 20 mil floor liner, tape all seams together

John and his crew did a great job encapsulating our crawlspace. They used both 10 mil for the walls and 20 mil for the ground surface. The 20 mil resembled pool liner. Both products were very strong and durable. They used firring strips to fasten the product on the wall, and a heavy duty specialized tape for connecting the seams. Johns crew was on time and very helpful whenever I had a question or concern. We were going to hire another company to do the job, but John provided us with several options, which were in line with our budget and also the quality of work we were looking for in a company. John was very professional in his demeanor and his business partner was very astute with progressing through the project. Johns company provided us with a 20 year warranty should we have any problems with their workmanship. I have no doubt that with the quality of work they performed and John running the business that the company will be in business 20 years from now. So should trouble arise the company should be there to make any necessary repairs, should they arise. I doubt it will happen though with the quality of materials they used for the project. For price, quality, and professionalism, go with these guys. A small company that cares about their customers!

We called American Crawlspace Solutions to get an estimate on encapsulating our crawlspace with polyethylene sheet. John Harman responded promptly, came to our home, explained the process, made recommendations and gave us an estimate. We made an appointment to get the work done. They arrived when expected and covered the crawlspace walls with 10 mil clear polyethylene and the dirt floor with 10 mil white polyethylene and installed a moisture alarm per our agreement. They did the work efficiently, cleaned up nicely and were very respectful of our property. We didn't comment on the price in this review because we did not compare their price to others but we were satisfied enough with the price to give them the job. John and his crew were very courteous and considerate and John even sent us a hand written than you note.
