I had called four companies and received three estimates. (One company did not show up.) GS Tree Removal arrived on time. They were courteous and answered all my questions. Their estimate was reasonable, thought out, and competitive. I live on a heavily wooded, steep hill with plenty of challenges for a tree service. Mike and Karen's team overcame our obstacles with skill and good cheer. I can't believe they got it finished in one day! This is a family company that I highly recommend!.

They contacted quickly to offer an estimate. It took a bit longer to finish that was originally told. Due to the trees and undergrowth, I did not get to save most of the things I was trying to keep, had a few damaged trees and bushes and the skid steer work messed up the yard quite a bit but all in all the trees are gone. I just had to rake up the stubble and put out some grass seed to be able to mow the back yard again. Glad the job is over. It was a steep bank area for them to work on and there were only three doing the work.

I hired GS Tree Removal to remove a Poplar tree that was close to my home with a rotting trunk line. At the time the estimate was given, I was told they would have to remove a portion of my fence in order to haul the tree away once it was cut down. I was told that the fence would be returned to its original condition. GS Tree Removal asked for my debit card the day the work was done, so that they would receive prompt payment, which I understand. Three weeks later I found my fence lying on the ground from a recent storm. Looking closer, I found that the 4X4 fence post was not placed in its original hole and there was no cement used when putting the 4X4 back into the ground. I located the original cement for the 4X4 in my yard, where it was knocked off and left as debris that was not hauled away. After texting, calling and emailing GS Tree Removal multiple times I have heard no response from them. They expected prompt payment from me, but apparently receiving prompt attention to any issues with their work is not something they strive for. Very disappointed that they would not follow through on what they promised at the time of the estimate. Would not recommend them to anyone.

Very competent and anxious to please. Good work ethics and courteous. Completed the job and cleaned up the yard. I would hire them again.
