I have no problem with the people of Benjamin Plumbing...good experience with each conversation. Here is the Problem: Even with the simple part replacement I needed Benjamin would not give me an estimate of cost over the phone. On arrival I knew the price quoted was way to high and I should have not gone any further. Nevertheless, the thought of starting all over was not a good one. Bottom Line: I paid to much for the work. After one week there is a slight problem with the work done but I've decide not to deal with Benjamin anymore. They are probably good at larger jobs but not the smaller one they did for me.

The young men were friendly and cordial. They said there was nsothing wrong with water tank and referred me to a well servicer. The well servicer immediately identified the problem as a faulty tank, checked the well (okay) and changed the water tank. A neighbor had, sight unseen, earlier diagnosed the same problem and I explained that to service people from Ben Franklin and they insisted they checked it out and the tank wasokay.

Seemed to be expensive

When the Service Tech (Angel) showed up I showed him to the repair area in the garage & kitchen I informed him want my expectations were. I asked if he had reviewed my online request which I wrote in detail what I needed repaired. Angel replied yes. I took the time to review the online request outlining what I believed was causing the leak. I offered my suggestion on where the water leak may be coming from. Angel started his inspection and he checked underneath the sink. He used a flash light to look under the dishwasher (did not pull out) this took about 15 min. He called me to advised that he could not find the leak. I referred him to my online request where I specifically noted that you can visually see water damage on my garage ceiling. Keep in mind I have pointed this out several times since he arrived. So I make a direct suggestion that he may want to cut the damage ceiling section out and Angel makes a statement " If I cut the ceiling out I will not be able to put the sheet rock back" Now Captain Obvious I know you are a Plumber. I had no expectations for Angel to repair the sheet rock however, I did have the expectation that he would take the bull by the horn and find the leak. Now after that he ask me where my water heater is located and he puts a gauge on the water heater and tells me the the pressure is high on the unit. I acknowledge that and ask what would he need to do to lower the pressure. He looks me in the eye with a straight face and says " you will need to replace the entire water heater. He does not offer to check the water pressure regulator that Gwinn County requires on all water heaters to be up to Gwinn Co. Code. People keep this in mind Angel still has not acknowledge or given any indication that he will cut the ceiling out to look for leaks. ( I live in a Town Home & my kitchen is over the garage) . So, I refer back to the online request and I state that you still have not offered to give me a price for the installation of the kitchen faucet that I requested online and when I spoke with your office coordinator. I asked Kimberly for a price and she could not give me. You have been here for 35 min and have not offered a price to install the new faucet. Angel looks me in the eye and says the price to install the faucet is $300.00. Now at this point I am furious and pissed. You have been in my home for 35 min you have not taken the initiative to find the leak. You have tried to sell me a water heater before you find the current problem. You did not even check the water heater out to see if you could adjust the water pressure regulator and now you give me some outrageous price to install a single neck kitchen faucet. So I ask Angel how long it would it take to install the faucet and he replies that it does not matter how long it takes to install the faucet it's $300.00 no matter what. At this time I asked Angel to leave my home (kick rocks). People follow me now. Remember I had already spoke with Kimberly the office co

Very polite, knowledgeable, and professionable, just very expensive for work done.

One of the most polite and professional technicians I have ever seen doing plumbing repair. He was careful to put on shoe covers before entering the house. He checked the water pressure and did other tests before beginning work. The repair was to a solid brass, custom faucet and the technician was extremely careful not to scratch or damage the fixture. Explained the work done in detail. Job was successful and came with a one year warranty the leak would not reappear. Only thing not perfect was the job was a little pricey. But if you want top quality service, particularly with a higher end home, definitely recommend as the best.
