Duct Cleaning and Mold Treatment. This was a significantly less than desirable experience. I could not honestly recommend them to anyone for anything. We recently moved into a condo, and we noticed that we have a mold problem in the ductwork. Naturally, we sought out a solution. During the quoting process, they tech said it was one of the worst cases he had seen in a while. Safe House customer service was fine. They followed up numerous times to ensure we were still interested in their duct cleaning services. That said, the technicians were nice enough guys, but they were in and out in 45 minutes. Their visit looked like this:Two technicians arrived and removed all the vent covers and returns. A bleach solution was sprayed into the now open ductwork. The utilized a drill-driven brush to scrub the duct work. During this process, black mold and dust veritably spewed all over our house and coated every surface. My wife and I have spent the entirety of today deep cleaning our house. Black debris was everywhere. We were using an alcohol solution and paper towels to wipe down services, and they would come up black. This happened on every surface, bookshelves, coffee table, our daughter changing table, all of her puzzles and books, our kitchen table and counters, the toilets, the floors, our beds. Nothing was spared. During the cleaning process, we have been wearing 3M face masks with respirators, and both of us are now exhibiting flu-like symptoms. UPDATE 2/14/2020: SafeHouse set a follow up appointment with their technician supervisor for our region. The original appointment was between 9-12 AM. That window came and passed. We called to see what was going on. SafeHouse said he was running late. They gave a new ETA between 1-3 PM. The technician did not show. We have rescheduled. Again. UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: 2/17/2020 They were scheduled to clean our ducts again this morning between 9-12. I asked via email at 9:30 when I could expect them, and I received a reply stating the technicians do not work on Presidents Day. So, they rescheduled knowing that it couldnt possibly work? I don;t know. Thats three strikes. We're so done. We have asked for a refund and compensation for all the time and effort we have wasted on this company.

I was quoted one thing and charged another. The workers asked if we spoke Hebrew, we don t and the bill went up several hundred dollars more. I feel cheated and will never go back to them. They also turned off my switch to my furnace and we woke to no heat in the house, so we called another company to fix it. I lost a day of work. The worker called me back and tried to explain that he did a good job but they sucked. Don t cheat people with a worker who doesn t speak good English!!

This company is very accommodating with price and timeliness. The servicer left my vents immaculate. They provided great customer service and education about their services rendering. I would definitely recommend and will comeback. Thank you!

The technician was very professional and courteous.

Tom was nice and company was very accommodating. I had a short timeline for completion and they not only were able to do that, when my timing moved on short notice they were able to move my appointment. Work was done promptly and efficiently.

My initial call was great. The rep was knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. When Todd or Told showed up, he wasnt aware of the work I asked them to perform. The company also had a promotion for free dryer duct cleaning I reminded him of as he was packing up his gear to leave. Both times, instead of checking before saying anything, he basically called me a liar, then told me I was correct after checking his phone. For the dryer duct cleaning, he could not access the vent from outside, so he pulled all the dust/lint onto the washer machine lid, and then asked me for a back to put it all in. He did not use his state of the art" vacuum to pick up all the debris. There was stuff flying everywhere and defeated the whole purpose of having the ducts professional cleaned. He was rude, abrupt, bossy and unprofessional. Because of him, this was not a good experience.

Tom was very professional and helpful. He did a wonderful job. I was very upset about the company since they rescheduled my appointment couple times, but Tom made it better. He was very nice. Highly recommend him.

He left the furnace running while cleaning and blew dust all over the house. It took me days to clean up.

We hired Safe House to clean our duct work and dryer vent. The technician was friendly, showed up on time, and did a thorough job. We are very pleased with the results.

They quoted me a much lower price for cleaning my dryer vent, but then when they came it escalated to $350 by the time they finished. That seems outrageous to me just to clean a dryer vent, but I paid it because I needed it done.

Very thorough & rep was very courteous! He was able to find my problem very quickly & fix it. The only issue was that he didn't clean debris left behind. Otherwise, good job!

I feel like I got shaken down. Advertised at $249 . I ended up paying $684. Every step was an add on sale, like taking your car to jiffy lube for an oil change and coming out with filers, wipers and bulbs ! My return air vent covers are loose and hanging off the wall. I was told my heat exchanger was leaking water, so I called an HVaC repair company who found nothing. I should have followed my gut and called Sears for this service.

I was able to get same day service which was great. They cleaned my air ducts and dryer vent. A job well done. It was a pleasant experience and I look forward to using Safe House again in the future.

I believe Safe House had subcontracted my work out to Air Quality and believe I was over charged. I was charged for dryer vent as well as air duct cleaning and then was told there would be a additional cost to address the dryer vent from the outside of the house.

The tech, Tom, was polite, knowledgeable, and made sure the job was done thoroughly. I would recommend it and will use it again!
