Description of Work: Was a little disappointed with our visit with outdoor makeover. We were looking to them for their expertise and suggestions of how to best fix our drainage issue. We got lots of ideas offered, some not even related to the project we needed, but no concrete recommendations. It seemed like he was expecting us to decide, when we were looking for someone to offer an expert opinion of what we should do.

Description of Work: I purchased the Landscape Design and Consultation. Navid did a great job with working with my ideas and coming up with a plan that best suits my Outdoor Living. We have a hill that has no grass and a design was needed. He gave us that design and we hope to be making it a reality in the future.

Description of Work: The landscape plan including plant selection fit the space very well and, with a largely shaded and part sun area, the plants appear compatible with the environment. The work done by the OutDoorMakeOver crew was well done and the subcontractors for hardscape work, fire pit and pergola did an excellent job. Some very creative solutions to some transitional areas were suggested by Navid, the owner, and worked well in the overall design. Price I can't judge since work such as this is always somewhat unique and difficult to compare plus the real measure is the outcome rather than just a dollar amount. I would not have any reservations about recommending Navid and his service to others.

Description of Work: Last fall, Outdoor Makeover completely redid my backyard. The project took 1 week & was extensive, involving root grinding, bed creation, pebble paths, stepping stones, plant installation & sodding. I was so pleased with Navid & his employees, that I had him bid on stairs to replace rotted railroad ties. His bid was a few hundred dollars less than replacing them with concrete. The installation was supervised by Navid's father, They installed granite stone steps - aesthetically far more pleasing than concrete. The finished product was terrific. Obviously, when this spring, I decided to redo the front of my house, I called Navid. There were many issues - shaded bare ground, bad previous installations & an unkempt neighbors house. Navid drew up a plan & we went ahead with the remake. Outdoor Makeover cut in new beds, took out a 20 year old tree, established a visual barrier to the neighbors, created flower beds & fixed a water runoff problem. Navid arrived promptly early Friday morning with a large crew. I thought the project would take at least 2 days, but they finished by 5:30 PM - with nothing undone! They even utilized plants, that were to be removed, in other areas. Navid was in & out all day, but the entire time, an English speaking supervisor was on site. I have one other small project to do in the future; Outdoor Makeover will be my obvious choice. I recommend them without any hesitation.

All Design Consultations require a $250 minimum for up to 2 hours of design time ($150 for each additional hour), which can be applied to the total contract amount. Evenings and weekends are available upon request (depending on designer availability) for an additional $100 that can be rolled into your project budget.
