Description of Work: This was our second project with Outdoor Makeover in the past 18 months. This time, we asked OM to help transform our backyard which was impacted by a Georgia Power right-of-way project. OM built a new privacy fence, removed tons of persistent ivy, strategically planted new trees and shrubs, installed accent lighting at the base of designated trees and finally manicured the entire area with pine straw. It looks great.

Description of Work: Outdoor Makeover designed and installed a patio area for my back yard. The space was limited due to a severe hill in the back yard. They regraded part of backyard, extended a retaining wall, and installed a beautiful stone fire pit. They designed the extended part of the retaining wall to include a bench for sitting next to the fire pit. Everything turned out great.

Description of Work: I had put off making any landscape improvements to our Alpharetta home for many years, until at a point where my shrubs and trees were dying off. I called Outdoor Makeover and made an appointment. Navid came over to the house and using his artistic vision came up with a colorful design that totally changed the look of our house. While replacing shrubs and trees could be considered a "small" job compared to the large rock work and terraced landscapes pictured on their website, Navid gave us a lot of personal attention and made several onsite visits while the workers were at our property and incorporated our ideas and changes into the design. The overall project included removing four large trees, relocating an island at the edge of the lawn, planting seven new trees/hedges and over a dozen shrubs. I now have the premier property in my subdivision thanks to Outdoor Makeover. | |I cannot recommend the services of Outdoor Makeover enough. They were extremely professional and creative. My initial thought was just to replace the dying plants but after seeing Navid's vision I went with his design, with a few small changes, and couldn't be happier. | |My wife and I are now looking at the backyard and planning to call Outdoor Makeover next year to get their ideas on the potential to revive that space as well.

Description of Work: I called to get an estimiate. They charge $100 dollars for an extimate since I live in Mableton area. They stated this is due to distance which is less then 10 miles. They may do good work, but I can not afford to pay a bunch of companys $100 a pop or my project will cost a bunch before I even pick a company.

They completed my backyard ahead of schedule and at a great price. Their wonderful work on my patio has been complemented many times. Steve and his crew were very ethical, responsible, and punctual. Customer satisfaction is very very important to them. I enjoyed the fact that Steve/Omid is always making sure the job is being done right. Outdoor Makeover gave the beautiful life back to my house!
Description of Work: Outdoor Makeover is a wonderful company! They gave the beautiful life back to my house! They redesigned my front and back yard, fixed my irrigation system, cleared and cut all the underbrushes, and hauled very thing out. I love the low maintenance shrubs, flowers, and all the plants on their design. They built a large stone patio in my backyard and created a great character for the backyard. They also did a great job at pressure washing my house and driveway.They really pay attention to the quality of their job. They delivered more than what they promised me.

The designer took me to the nursery to show me a large variety of plants. The installation crew was outstanding and very professional. The follow-up was comprehensive. + 3 moreOutdoor Makeover came out and listened to what our desires were. They then took a walk around our property. Within 24 hours we received an estimate and a phone call confirming that we received the estimate. That was a first! After discussing the plans with my wife, we gave them a call and two days later, they were at our house. They clean out the trees and laid down new sod and added some mulch,gravel, and stone to accent our yard. They later came back and constructed a retaining wall and added some trees and bushes so we would not experience erosion. Up until the time we called Outdoor Makeover, I thought the sun never shined on our home. Now we see the sun and a beautiful yard.
Description of Work: I needed my entire yard re-landscaped. We had dead trees on our property that caused an eyesore. We need a company who could remove the trees and then add life back to our yard and home.

+ 8 moreI was very impressed with the way Navid does business. He is very professional, courteous, educated and classy. During the initial estimate, he spent about an hour consulting with me, making sure to take note of what it was that I wanted. He also listened to my ideas and added his expertise to them. He first approached the project by breaking it up into phases. Each step of the way he would make sure to take a moment to consult with me and answer any questions or concerns I had. He really knows how to work with colors in landscaping, which really spiced things up in the end. I appreciated the fact that he worked within my budget. He was able to provide what he promised at the amount he estimated. At times, he would give me different options which provided me with alternatives to what I had in mind and most of the time they were better than what I had in mind. He communicated with me throughout the entire project effectively; he would knock on the door informing us that he noticed something new that needed to be fixed and he had already fixed it and, true to his word, he did not “nickel and dime” us. When I met Navid, I saw a landscaper who cared about my vision, my home, and the quality of his work. Overall, I had a wonderful experience working with Outdoor Makeover and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a landscape company.
Description of Work: Outdoor Makeover literally did a complete "makeover" of my front and backyard. They transformed a mess of a yard into something that makes all my neighbors jealous. They began by clearing out the English Ivy that had taken over the trees and a majority of the backyard. They installed a stone patio, complete with a fire pit and walkway from the patio to my back deck. They used red and black mulch to provide decoration around the patio and all the beds throughout the yard. They transformed the front yard by removing all of the weeds, redrawing all the beds, planting new shrubs, and installing new sod. In addition, they did all of the small things that really made our entire property look amazing, such as pressure washing the house and the driveway and cleaning the gutters. This saved me the hassle of having to call other contractors to do these small jobs. I absolutely love the finished product of my yard and they were able to provide it for me at a price that was almost $2,000 less than other contractors had estimated.

Description of Work: Three scrubs in the front of the house were removed and a new bed installed for roses to be planted. Several large dead trees removed, large trees and scrubs pruned. Wooded area cleaned of debris and hauled off. South area of house mulched. Large stones place down slope to prevent drainage problems in future.

+ 1 moreI found Omid from his sign as they were clearing the yard of a house in the front of the neighbor that was in need of desperate attention. The work within 2 weeks of our initial quote and ahead of expectation.
Description of Work: Property clean-up and landscaping for newly purchased home where backyard and front had become overgrown and original design was barely visible. Omid is outgoing and offered suggestions on what to keep and what to remove in the way of plants and bushes. Work included removing unnecessary bushes, weeds, pressure cleaning our large concrete back yard, and creating designs with red mulch and pine straw and keeping the existing plants to bring out the original design. The front yard featured red mulch around the trees and pinestraw along with a creative circular designs off the front porch and around the existing shrubs. In the backyard, the retaining wall landscaping was overgrown and cleared up and the more creative designs where used to bring out the existing design after the clutter was removed. In addition, they also did some extra things along the way with pinestraw and red mulch to make it look even better.
