Description of Work: OK I guess. Price is roughly double what we paid another company last year for bit longer move. Plus $50 trip fee on top of Angies List price. $50 was for north Gwinnet to north Fulton, maybe 20 miles. A trip fee from next county over is sort of ridiculous. Less than half day job. | |Moved one bedroom + one living of furniture and couple heavy boxes. Movers did not provide floor protection for hard woods and wood porch, which we did so add another $30ish to price. Several of the other movers did provide floor protection. | |They were punctual, arriving a few minutes before time, but took off so quick they left two items still shrink wrapped with two moving quilts. So I called up vendor and they had to turn around to come back and get the quilts. | |Shop around for this kind of service.

Description of Work: Floors and Chores moved my husband and me out of a 2 bed, 1 bath apartment on the second floor into a 3 bed 2.5 bath 2 story house about 5 miles away in metro Atlanta. I did a lot of research and obtained multiple quotes before proceeding. Floors and Chores had great reviews and seemed reasonably priced. Kimble reached out to me promptly and was able to determine an excellent price. Everyone was completely punctual, professional, careful and hardworking. Kim stayed to determine insurance coverage and to help disassemble our bed (what we deemed as our "most valuable object") and then left to oversee another project once it was well-packed and the team was on a roll. They were amazing about putting boxes into the rooms in which they were labeled to go, and didn't stop until the work was done. We did have to go to Lowes and pick up our own mats for floor protection as we just had our floors refinished, but otherwise we just sat back and watched them do their thing. They were so good I've already reached out to use them again for smaller items. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: They moved | all of the furniture from my dining room, across the house into the family room, and moved all of the furniture from the family room into the former dining room. They didn't show up on time and I had to call to find out where they were (Still on the previous job which was taking longer than expected). They did arrive when they estimated that they would after my call. In spite of the fact that it was the end of a very hot day during which they had been loading trucks outside, they got right to work and moved fast. There were several problem pieces which didn't want to go through my narrow doors, but they made it work and were cheerful while doing so. I will use them again. | |

Description of Work: Came when they said they would. Willing to move stuff around the house that was not part of the move. Broke one lamp but compensated me on the spot.

Description of Work: Moved us over a three day period making deliveries to 3 different storage facilities and 1 additional home. This required extensive planning as the truck had to be loaded in a last in first out fashion. No easy feat with different delivery locations and they remembered better than I did which piece went where! Chuck and his supervisor Byron are highly intelligent, efficient, and experienced professionals. I would definitely use them again.
