+ -1 moreWe had a yearly contract with Estes. We actually had an emergency call because our AC stopped in the summer. They came the first time and said since I had not turned the AC off, it was frozen and they had to come back. Was charged for that. They came back and said it was a freon leak, which was not fixed. They charged me to put a lot more freon in it so it would run. They wanted to come back a 3rd time to run a leak check or price a new machine. I would have liked for all of this to be done in one visit. I also have tried contacting them to cancel our contract, and I am still being billed.

+ -1 moreThey are full of promises, fail to deliver results (i.e,, don’t show up for appointments or show up with out the necessary equipment ), give great apologies, then fail to deliver again- i.e., no work/results again. And I mean failed to show up for the appointments again! This was for a pre-paid scheduled appointment for a simple maintenance/service visit (and they been here before) - nothing complicated. They failed to make it here 3 times, but gave me 3 different excuses each time. Once the tech got tied up on another job. I understand how that can happen so I rescheduled. But for the rescheduled appointment, the tech didn’t have the proper ladder. Then the next time, he didn’t have a coworker with him who is supposed to assist because the fan/blower is on the roof (the reason for needing the ladder). So he brought the latter but not a second person to assist him with it. What’s the point?? Needless to say, I took off work each time to accommodate the appointments, and each time they failed to get the job done. I do not recommend Estes.
