She was able to fix some of the issues. She was able to set up a few things on the computer. All in all she did a good job.

Took provider 4 hours to fix as they had to go through all the drives to clear out virus + do a scan of all drives which took the majority of the time. I had to pay the extra $40 as I initially paid $59 special price but it took longer than the allotted time so I had to pay the difference of $40 = $99 total bill. Laptop is fixed. They did great job and did install a free virus scan software good for 1 year. If I have another issue [I hope not :)], I will contact them again for help.

My laptop was frozen with a Trojan program and had several other issues that needed to be cleared out. ATR cleaned out my hard drive and reset my system back to right. It wasn't as easy as it would have been for a number of reasons but they kept at it and resolved the situation in about 6.5 hours. My computer is faster than it has been in a while and it doing great.

My computer it is just like a new computer. They were vey kind and patient. I would use them again. It was money well spent.

Thomas was great. He checked my system with me and asked what problems I was having. He explained things in simple terms. He ran the clean up explained what he found and made Recommendations, he corrected a couple of additional issues as well and even looked at and corrected some issues with my wife's computer. It took almost 4 hrs but this lady kept checking with me and explaining what was being done. It was a pleasure talking to her as I am not that knowledgeable about computers, she explained what she was going to do next etc. I would definitely call them again. The price was very reasonable.

In my first call to the provider, he decided that an entire clean up was in order. (I had problems with Security application as well as an excruciatingly slow computer.) He said that would be another $40. Which I was more than willing to pay since I had paid far more than that at a big box office supplier last year. We set an appointment for 12/3 between 9 and 9:30. Donna, the tech phoned at 9:16. She asked a few questions, and requested that she be permitted to have remote access to my computer, and of course I gave it. At that point, she told me that I could hang up the phone and continue my daily routine. She left a minimized app on my computer for me to use incase I wanted to let her know that I was leaving for a while, which I did not use. I watched for a while and she was deleting apps that we discussed prior that I no longer used or wanted. Then she started a series of scans, and then deleted other unnecessary items. She solved the problem with my security system very easily. She phoned me again at 12:14, asked a couple more questions, and then continued cleaning up what needed to be done. She was finished at 1:43, and phoned at that time. She answered all of my questions and set certain scans to the times I requested. She was thorough and professional yet spoke in terms that I could understand. Very Patient.

The tech who I spoke to on the phone (I think his name was Thomas, so sorry I don't remember) walked me through every step of the way. Explained all that he was doing and after he worked on computer told me what I needed to do. You can't ask for EASIER! Best 99 bucks I ever spent! Thank you so much!

Spent a great deal of time researching the computers problem with great results.

It turned out very well and they did all the work on line. I called first to set up the appointment and then they called prior to the appointment to get into my computer. I was very pleased with the price and I liked the convenience of the service. I was happy that I did not have to take my computer anywhere for service.

It went very well. The computer had a lot of issues that went over the time I purchased. He took the computer and repaired it and brought it back in a timely fashion.

I purchased a big deal coupon for this company. It really didn't turn out very well. It ended up the bars across the top, I'm not sure what you call them, there was about five of them and they took a lot of space and then Yahoo put an advertisement across the bottom and the right side and it ended up the window that you look at is just so small, you don't see half of half of the things that are going on when you have a video or something like that. It's all ads and tool-bars. Plus the fact it seemed like that everything that we had on and were watching something bad would pop up and take it's place. Like I told the man, my Grand-daughter is very good at this and she comes into out computer from Pittsburgh or Arizona and fixes things, but she was very busy the last few months trying to run two businesses and didn't have time. A month afterwards I just called her and said we can't put up with this. She took her time and fixed it. She got rid of all but one or two tool-bars, got rid of the ads, we don't have ads popping up. We are very happy with what we've done now. I'm sorry the man did, he fixed some things, but other things came on and several times he called and said call me, here's my number, call me direct if you have any problems. I didn't. I waited for my Grand-daughter to do this. She does it for a living. My grand-daughter said he did take care of a couple complaints that I had. He didn't have it done. He did it all on line. He did get rid of some things. It just covered the screen with ads and I couldn't get rid of them. He worked on the computer a few days or a week after purchasing the coupon. Maybe he didn't interpret me trying to explain to him. Once he got in he should have known. Where all these ads came from afterwards, it just covered the screen, you couldn't do anything. You couldn't get rid of them either. He was very pleasant, the girl that worked for him was very pleasant. It just did not get done what we needed done.

Had a difficult issue with computer not booting up correctly and repeatedly hanging up when it needed to be restarted. Also unknown to me at the time had multiple MalWare software programs maliciously installed on my hard drive. Thomas, Donna and Spencer all worked separately and together many hours to get to the bottom of the reboot issue and ultimately repaired it. During the process identified and removed malicious software which was slowing down my computer and jeopardizing our privacy. Project was a difficult one to handle and the team did remarkable and professional work throughout. You can not go wrong with this group of IT specialists.

They were extremely helpful week after there was a problem, they stand-by their gaurentee and repaired my computer again.

I had a computer mess on my hands and was unable to get my 10 year old XP to perform as it should. I had multiple problems and had tried online services befor going with this firm. My previous experience provided some help but had lots of extra charges for more software. Within a month the machine was back to being ugly once again and even somewhat worse in some areas with new proplems as well.Alexander Technical Resources was right on time and cleaned out the problems as advertised. The did what they said they were going to do and did it with gusto. I also got some good advice that the problems I was experiencing directly related to the age of the equipment and the software. The tech informed me about the upcoming lack of support from Microsoft for XP as of next April (2014) and she said that I would do well to make the change to new hardware and software before that happens. She also said that the tests she was reading indicated that the set up I was using was indicating signs of a possible crash on the horizon. I bit the bullet and followed her advice. Windows 8 is a bear as it is all new still I'm glad I made the change now as April draws closer, any support services are going to be jammed. . I recommend ATR to anyone with computer issues. They are first rate. It's nice to have the old computer working as I can now make the updates without any additional stress from the XP Box. l

She called me at the time she said she would call. She was very professional and did a thorough job cleaning up my laptop remotely. I would definitely use them again.

It went okay but could have been better. When we scheduled the appointment he did the job, but he was also in a rush. Some of the questions I asked him were answered in hurry and he seemed to not want to answer my questions, but he did spend the time fixing the issue.

I made an appointment with ATR after my computer caught a virus & i was unable to navigate it at all. I think my tech's name was Mike. He was ontime for the scheduled appointment and was able to access my computer after a couple of trys (my computer was not cooperating). It took him 4 hours to debugg & erase other files that may cause the computer to crash again. My computer is now faster and i am able to do my research papers for school once again. THANKS ATR

I did not use this provider. I tried to get a refund, but to no avail. I'm sure they're nice people, but I got absolutely NO help or refund.

My computer was a mess, but thankfully Donna was able to troubleshoot my problems. The clean-up took almost four hours but it was all worth it!!! With four children, I definitely see the tune-up being an annual maintenance task (like with a vehicle or house need) for our family. I intend to spread the word about Alexander Technical Resources on Facebook and Twitter. Donna was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. She even offered some suggestions on how to trouble shoot my internet speed problems. I sincerely appreciate her efforts and will use the company again!!! I also am telling all my family members out of state about the company's great service, as it provides service nationwide. I loved that my issues were resolved remotely. I do not have time to transport my computer to a store and back.

I was in need of computer repair badly. After looking on Angie's List and saw the high rating for ATR I decided to give them a try. I called on Tuesday, Nov. 5th and set up a remote appt. for the next day. Thomas called and spent all day cleaning my computer hard drive, which was a mess. He was very professional and patient with me and the problem. A couple of days later I had a question so I called. Spencer, the owner, answered. Thomas was not available so Spencer offered to help. After talking with him he wanted another look at my computer to make sure all was done as needed. He made another appt. for me for today, Nov 15th. Thomas was not available so Donna called. She was able to take care of my concerns very professionally and quickly. ATR is the best computer service I have ever used. They were very professional and knowledgeable about what needed to be done. I am very satisfied with the whole experience and would recommend them for anyone.
