She got on the phone with me and took over my computer remotely. I carried on verbal phone conversation as well as computer dialogue at various points in the process. She stayed with each task until completed. One process kept freezing but she stayed with it until finding a way around the problem. More than 8 hours of service for a fee of $95. No cost for the personalized service, question answering and extra time/work needed to be thorough. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to any one else.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. They were good and competent. They did what I asked. I had a problem and the problem recurred and they followed up and fixed it again. They delivered what they promised. They were very nice and helpful. There were no additional fees. Update: The problem has recurred. In spades. In never really went away, but we could live with it, but no longer. It seems that what was done didn't really fix the problem. I don't know if the computer in unfixable, or if they just aren't the ones to fix it.

I liked that they could remote in, the tech was really good. I did not have to take my computer anywhere.

Service representative was responsive, professional, patient, and persistent helping move e-mail functions from a sick old PC to a new one. While this was a "special deal" priced service today, I would return to this provider anytime at full price.

The deal worked out well. I thought they were very helpful and it was very useful to have them ask questions to make the appointment move quickly. They were really super explanatory. One technician did the work and he was done in less than an hour. Scheduling went great and they did everything over the phone for me.

I would highly rate them. They did a very good job cleaning my computer because I had a virus that had been downloaded when my husband downloaded something. They spent several hours going through it and cleaning it up. They told me to let them know if there were any continuing issues and I did. I didn’t hear back from them in the first but about a week later, he said he had flu and apologized. So it wasn’t anything he did wrong but it was a different setting I needed. He was more than willing to do it. I felt like it was a good deal.

After taking control of my computer within ten minutes it had crashed. During the time I was speaking to the person they were screaming at someone or something to be quiet.|I returned the computer to Staples where they were able fix it. Terrible experience, I would never use them again and I think I should get my money back.

Provided corresponded with us immediately. We met by telephone and performed the service via internet. She was thorough and communicated well. We had our computer back within a few hours. She was also able to answer some technical questions about software.

Donna was great. Helped me to understand the entire process before she even started the work. Great working with her. She made it all so easy

Before hiring, I researched the customer reviews that were submitted on the company. I was impressed with what the customers were saying about the results they had received from the company's services. I also noticed that a certain tech named Donna was mentioned in numerous reviews. It looked to me that Donna was an asset to the company, and that she was the Professional that every consumer dreamed of having to provide the services needed. After purchasing a coupon for $59, and after contacting the company to set up an appointment, I was told that I would be contacted the next day for services. When I was contacted the next day, I was very relieved to find out that it was Donna on the other end of the line, and that she would be the one working on my issues. Donna started by addressing me as" hun ", I knew from that point on that she had outstanding customer service skills, and that she was dedicated to providing exceptional service. The service took about 6 1/2 hours to complete. She kept me informed of everything she was doing, and if she had questions, she would call or text me. She explained that I didn't need to stay on the line with her, or continuously monitor her on the computer during the service time. Since the $59 only covered 1 hour of service, she informed me that it would be to my advantage to get unlimited service time for an additional $40. I agreed to her recommendation and she immediately began with her troubleshooting of my ill laptop. After receiving her services, my laptop is faster and operating without any issues. I am very satisfied with this company and it's services. I agree that Donna is an asset to this company, and that she is a true Professional. The only concern I had was that Donna seemed to of had an enormous amount of workload on the day of my services. She apologized to me ( which she didn't have to ) on a few occassions for some delays during my services. It seems that she was the only one in the office and that she was working with 3 other customers at the same time, not to mention having to answer incoming telephone calls. She never once displayed any signs of stress or discontent. After 6 1/2 hours, I was surprised to hear that one word that made me feel welcome and comfortable to her services, " hun ". Thanks Donna!, and " hun " back at ya!

Updated and cleaned up Apple laptop to speed up performance and eliminate recurring error messages.

it turns out i had over 1400 infections. my compter wasnt working at all . I bought the deal for $99. and I got my moneys worth and more Alexander was very informative when I had questions because I am not real computer savy. it took him 8hrs. to fix it. he was very determinded to get me back on track which he did. my computer works just like it did when it was new. I am very happy with their sevice and wold use it again.

The PC was having a lot of issues and I need it for my work as personal use. Donna was great at communicating as the process went on, answered all of my questions. She analyzed the problem and got right to work. We communicated by phone as she was working on my PC. My Dell has not performed at this level in years, probably since I first bought it. I waited several weeks before writing this review just in case this was a short lived experience. It is not. Great Job. Great attitude. Great result. Thank you, Donna.

OUTSTANDING! Appointment was at 1000 and at 1000 the phone rang. Everything is done remotely, son one can stay in one's morning "causal" while the work is being done. The Tech (Dawn) talked me through the entire process, then once she started working, I left for the next 4 hours while she did her magic. It is a brand new machine. So much better than buying expensive software that only works some of the time.

I was able to connect with the provider remotely. A time was set to start the process and once we connected she was able to start the work and I was able to return to my work place. By the time I got home from work my computer was well on its way to functioning normally.

ATR did tune-ups on several of our computers. They helped us determine that one of the computers needed to be junked, and the generously discounted their fees so we didn't pay them for work done on a non-working machine (aka doorstop). I've used them again since the first time, and will use them in the future when we need computer un-clogging again.

Spencer Alexander came to my house to set up my corporate VPN and did an amazing job! After it was set up, he sat with me (a non-tech-head) and explained every step of the process, then watched me do it - twice, and told me I could call or email anytime with questions. He's been in the business 25 years and knows his stuff! I was also having a problem with the modem and he brought a new one with him and set it up as well. I had been looking for an experienced, honest, competent, fair-priced IT person, someone I could rely on, and Spencer most definitely fit the bill. He's very professional and courteous. He also has several experienced IT people working for him, although Spencer is the only one I have worked with thus far. I would highly recommend Alexander Technical Resources.

I had a coupon from Angie's List. I was surprised that this company was located out of state, but it didn't matter because the remote connection was available. She reorganized files, connected printer to computer, solved issues with server(s). Also added some virus protective software. Stayed with me on the phone thru the whole process. This went much quicker than expected. She was very polite, quick !! & extremely professional. She would not hang up until all my questions were answered. The value for the service I got was awesome.

It went perfect! Very professional. I was going to bring my computer in to a store but saw this company and thought I'd try it. Glad I did. Spencer worked for a long time to clear my computer, despite my slow connection and frequent disconnections. I have two other computers and going to use them for both!

Spencer Alexander called at the agreed upon time and using several different software products, he was able to repair all of the issues that I had with my laptop, as well as quite a few additional problems that he discovered during his analysis. In addition he made a few dozen Windows 7 setting modifications that dramatically improved the overall system performance. After 3 hours my Laptop was running like new. Great Job.

I had called ATR to discuss the problems that I was having with my computer. Donna took my information and scheduled a time for Thomas to call on Saturday Jan 4th to clean up my computer remotely. I'm not a computer whiz, just know how to basically operate them, so when Thomas called and asked some technical questions, I knew it was time to have my wife sit in and take control at our end. Anyway, the process couldn't have been easier. My computer was running extremely slow, pop ups all day long and some programs/sites were not available because of the problems. Thomas took control and performed a complete cleanup of my computer which is now running like new. I couldn't be happier with the results and will definitely use Alexander Technical Resources for any future problems.

Initial contact with worker was unsatisfactory. But interaction with supervisor was very good. She cleared everything up and even did free follow-up months later.
