The service was successful. He was able to solve the problems that we had. Scheduling was just fine and he was efficient.

I believe there were additional charges which I wasn't expecting. I drove and met them half way to drop off the laptop and then drove and met them half way to pick it up. I just met someone at the parking lot.

Spencer was easy to talk to and listened intently to what my problems were. I worked on the computer with him for a little while to get everything set up so that he could start to do his job from another state. During the time that he was working, I would look at my monitor off and on and I could see complicated things he was doing. He could have just done a few things and only worked for a couple of hours and I wouldn't have known the difference. (He worked for 13 hours today.) But, he stuck it out until he was satisfied that he had done the best job possible even though my computer is older. His dedication and tenacity is to be admired, especially in this day and age when so many people do only enough to get by on their jobs. I would highly recommend Spencer because of his work ethics and his honesty. I will also use him again whenever the need arises. Thank you, Spencer, you are awesome!

'I can't , of course,claim to have discovered Alexander Technical Resources and its incomparable Donna in view of raves of countless revewers, exemplified , in Donna's instance, by a 1/24/2014 reviewer who observed, "She never once displayed any signs of stress or discontent." Last night I was stupid enough to fall for an internet scam and allowed an outside source to come in and "clean" my system. Even though part of me thought it must be a scam I went ahead with it. This morning after checking various sights I knew I'd been had. I put a freeze on my internet banking and cancelled my credit card. I knew I needed someone to deal with the computer sooner than later so, based on other Angie's List reports I called Alexander Technical resources. The gentleman I talked to , Thomas, was great. He wasn't high pressure at all (unlike last night), patiently answered my questions and made suggestions. We made an appt for a few hours later and he called back right on time. He said he'd done a little research into the problem and certainly could go in and look at it. He accessed my computer and we went through some of the programs and he mentioned needed updates, questionable downloads etc. I asked him to go ahead and do the work. The cleaning took the full four hours and my computer is running well. AT the end of the session he made some suggestions as to how I can stay on top of checking my own computer. I would not hesitate to call them again. Update: Had a problem installing antiviral software following day. Called them and Thomas came in, looked around found and solved the problem. Once again he answered my questions and showed infinite patience. Thank you!

All the basics were taken care of. Did a thorough job. Well worth the money. I would have liked more program suggestions besides the excellent basic service. The technician wasn't familiar with all my programs. Service was professional, pleasant and caring.

We were not successful. The technical support person tried numerous approaches, to no avail. He educated us concerning the best way to save files on an external hard drive and encouraged us to use professionals for major tasks.

I ha massive malware issues. They worked on my computer for approximately 8 hours. Since then it's working like a charm. I did download MalwareBytes and it is also doing a great job of locating and removing malware.

Our laptop would no longer boot up without a very ugly bug taking over. So I got on Angie's list and searched for computer repair providers. Alexander Technical Resources came up and I read their reviews and decided to call them. After we talked about the problem and symptoms, they were able to fix most of the problems. We are now clean and bug-free. There is still another operating system issue that they could not solve (probably due to age of the machine) but at least they didn't charge us for that. Our computer is very old so we know we will have to replace it soon but until then, they were able to get it straight and working to a point where it is quite useable until it can be replaced. Everything was done over the phone and they worked remotely on the system. And they didn't ask for our first-born child!!! Thanks so much Mr. Alexander.

Scheduled call with computer engineer. We explained the problem. They looked at things remotely. Gave us great advice on what was going wrong and gave us advice on what was needed to get computer cleaned up. We followed their guidance and a few hours later, the computer was working really well. Really grateful for their help!

They were excellent. I liked their level of service and their level of knowledge and expertise. They really improved the performance of my computer.

Alexander Technical Resources called at the exact specified time. They took control of my computer for a few hours. During that time they found many problems including some malware and viruses. They cleaned them all up. All in all they did an excellent job. Computer is running better.

My computer still slows down so I think it didn’t work out all that well. He seemed very professional and very efficient but there must have been some problem. The computer is not working to my satisfaction. I had to have it done twice. I think it’s because of the scope of the problem, maybe I need to take the computer in to a person that can actually get in to the hard drive. It’s too slow for me.

Alexander Technical Resources wasn't what I thought and it's probably my fault because I probably didn't read it the way I should have. I thought they were coming to the house and fix the computer. They were in Georgia. She did a good job but it wasn't what I wanted. There was something wrong with my computer and I wanted them to see what it was. I had a problem with my computer that if you turn it on, it turns all white and then you have to push it way back before you can get it to come one so you can use it and that's what I wanted fix. She called me and said she was going to do it from Atlanta, Georgia, I started crying because I'm like "I can't do this, I don't know anything about a computer. I thought you were going to come here." They were very nice and good. The service was okay; it was fine. They did what they were supposed to do it just wasn't what I expected. The price was very good.

They spent 40 minutes on Sunday to get a homepage for us to connect to security. Everything on my laptop is not done properly. Nothing will accept my password.

I have a one-person office doing technical work. I bought a technical package (on Angies) from ATS that included a couple of hours of technical assistance. First I talked to a female who helped me with a few questions, and then later, I turned over my computer to Alexander. It had been repaired by the company that built it, and they had made a true mess of it. Alexander said it could not be repaired now. He then gave me suggestions of what I might want as a replacement, and was very helpful in providing guidance on how I could capture the files on my hard drives of my old computer. ATS people don't talk over your head, nor do they talk down to you. They treat you like you are a professional just like they are. It's good to know there are people out there that will partner with you like they do to work through your problems. I appreciated their help.

The service was okay. They did an analysis to speed up my computer. She tried, but it was not able to speed that up. The bottom line was my computer needed more memory; but she could not tell how much I would need. She contracted me, she was prompt and we did this service remotely.

I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. Excellent service.

It went smoothly. It took longer than I thought it would, but as long as it was done right, that was not a problem.
