Using remote access, they ran numerous programs to figure out why my computer was running so slow. I had about 50-80 items scheduled to come on at start up (unknown to me) and had some malware viruses. One or two were very difficult for them to remove but they persevered until it was accomplished and were involved on my computer for about 7 hrs total. I am impressed and very pleased with the outcome. I had a couple of questions over the next several days and they were extremely prompt about answering my questions or more than willing to schedule an appointment to discuss/mitigate further. I would definitely recommend them and already have. I had my parents computer cleaned up for the same reasons and we had the same experience - excellent. In fact, when any other issues come up in the future, we will use them for assistance.

Spencer returned all calls in a timely manner. He arrived on time and ready to work. The work was done professionally and with quality and expertise and was completed on time. The results were good and I would use him again and/or refer him to my friends or family. His prices were competitive and within expectations.

Spencer, the Alexander Technical Resources computer tech, called me to set-up an appointment for service, A few days later on the appointed day and time, Spencer called and I shared my concerns and he then guided me through the steps to prepare my older home computer for remote service. Then the magic happened. I left the computer on, he went to work and I went for a cup of coffee. He addressed all my concerns plus found and corrected many more things that needed attention and to ensure secure protection. Everything that I previously saved was now working smoother and faster. A thorough examination of files and programs, additions, deletions and corrections took approximately two hours. Spencer called me when he finished his work to ask if I thought of anything else he could do, I told him no, and he told me I was good to go back to using my computer. He thanked me for choosing ATR. ( Yes, beyond expectations.) I'm very pleased to highly recommend this firm for outstanding, computer and customer service, I will use them again, with confidence, should I have any computer problems.

Computer was infected with a browser hijacker that was very hard to remove as you would have to edit the registry, Spencer cleaned up the computer of all the malware/virus"s and deleted all programs not needed, the computer is now running like new, very good job.

It got worse after they fixed it. They are willing to work with me. It is better in some ways and worse in other ways. It is slower. She was very nice and knowledgeable. My system is old so I do not know if it is me or them. They did get some stuff to unlock. I will continue to use them.

Thomas was the technician and he called at the time of my appointment, promptly at 9am. I was told I would get a call between 9am and 9:30am. He was very patient and answered any questions that I had. It didn't take as long as I thought it would, it took an hour and a half. I'm glad that my computer wasn't as bad as I thought. I was having problems searching on the internet, the cursor would continuously spend and it was just taking to long to go to a website. I thought maybe I had a virus. I had some Malware and other harmful downloads on my computer. I really appreciate the service and wells as the great customer service. I will definitely use them again.

Donna Vogler from Alexander Technical Resources worked on my computer. She explained to me what she was going to do and was very patient if I didn't understand. My computer runs great now without pop-ups, advertisements, etc. I am very pleased with their work and if I ever have another problem would go back to them. Also I will tell all my friends about what a great company this is. Thank you so much.

It went really well. The remote tune-up was thorough and effective. She was very knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions. I would say the price was fair and recommend this Deal to others. I was very impressed!

The service turned out fine. My computer runs faster now. She was very professional and quick to work with. They were easy to work with and they were flexible with my schedule as well.

I ended up not using them because my computer is on XP, and Microsoft will stop supporting that soon, so they told me that there would be no point in maintaining it. However, their customer service was very professional and the lady I spoke to was very nice.

It went well though he was unable to solve my particular problem which is related to our operational error. He gave me good advice on possible solutions but that would involve a particular software to read my files.

It turned out great. I was very pleased. They took care of all the viruses, cleaned it up and there is no more viruses. It was very good. I would recommend them. I dealt with the girl on the phone and she was excellent. She explained what she was doing and there was no problem. I could watch and see what she was doing and all. She was thorough and took her time. I was very pleased and she cleaned up a computer that was a mess.

Could not find a solution to my Outlook email problem. I spent money and did not get results

I called Alexander Tech on 01-06-14 and told them that I was having "blue screen' issues. They said that they could help me and had me give them $99 dollars. I had a couple different employees work on it over the next week or so, it was initially going to take just a few hours. I give them credit for trying, but in the end my computer was actually running shoddier, failing usually to stay on for more than a minute in the end. I was told that they needed to "do some research" and they would get back to me, it's been a couple weeks plus since I heard from them. I guess I am out the $99.00, and need to take my laptop to another computer repair business. I know $99 is a good deal that's why I called them, I am a single father that is unemployed, and I need my computer. I cannot recommend Alexander Tech's business model, one that refuses to admit when they are in over their head. I would have been fine with a refund and an I am sorry we cannot help. I did not expect this on Angie's list.

Technician called me and asked permission to remote view my computer. He began performing a scan and advised the process would take about 2-4hrs. I use satellite internet service which interfered with the process causing it to take longer but not ATR's fault by any means. We worked through the issue and was able to finish by the end of the early evening. My computer is running efficiently and I can now resume back to normal. Thanks, ATR.

I could have done the same thing with the $59 coupon, but that was my fault not theirs. My only complaint was that she was in a hurry to go home and didn't really go through my computer with me. I cannot get my printer to work with the wireless and will have to call them back when I can get the time to sit down with them. Also I was a little disappointed that it was not suggested to me what I could add or do to my computer to keep it from getting so much malware and pop ups in the future. I felt very rushed to let her get off the line and go home. I would have appreciated more than just them taking over the computer and having some advice or products recommended.

Scheduled call wason time. Donna V. reviewed problems and took over control of my computer. Service session lasted over 4 hours (I did not have to be present all this time and when Donna needed to discuss an issue she called). Upon completion my computer was (and continues to) run as fast as it did when it was new. She installed some new security software (Malware) and advised on a number of other issues that I needed addressed; e.g., problems with e-mail and U tube viewing. These issues were resolved. Also, I have Windows XP as my operating system and she advised that Microsoft was abandoning this system in a few months; she advised me on solutions to this problem. She was pleasant, professional and gave me a pone number for future service requirements if necessary. I'd call Alexander Technical Services if the need arises. Great service!

I booked appointment and was told someone would call me between 9 and 9:30 and at 9:05 Thomas called me. He remotes in and 3 hours later he called and went over what he found, fixed and updated. Very nice and professional.

It was very good. It went very well. She did a good job and she just pretty much took over the computer and I just did whatever I wanted to. She was just very pleasant and easy to deal with.

Had to reschedule once because the provider was busy with another client. After we connected, the service went smoothly.

At first I was very hesitant of using remote computer services. Shopped around in my own community did not feel anyone could clean up the problems I was experiencing so I went back to my true partner Angie's list. Very happy I did. I received technical support from the provider after my computer got stuck while installing software. The tech support person successfully fixed the problem and finished installing the software. Furthermore, she suggested other software to use to clean up my computer and files periodically. Very helpful and highly recommended. I would definitely use them again.
