I was having serious problems with my computer and thought that the Big Deal Service provider could provide service within 2 days. When I talked to them, I found out that the respond within 2 days but would not be able to provide services for approx. a week. My need was immediate. I was able to get another provider on Angies List to come to my house within a couple of days. Apparently I had several very serious viruses and was already using the computer longer than I should have. Thanks for your help.

Donna was great! I spoke with her directly to schedule my appointment and one week later she called me to get started on my remote tuneup. After a brief intro, she began the tuneup without interruption. It took about 3 hours total and now my computer is running fast! I was hoping to get another year or two out of this computer and now I think that will happen. She removed files and malware and added a spyware service for free. She was thorough and made sure all my questions were answered. The reason I gave a B to responsiveness is because it took me two weeks to get a hold of them initially. Once I was in contact everything was great with this service. I recommend using them to anyone.

Great customer service. Wonderfully personable and knowledgeable. Fixed my problem from 1,000 miles away! I will never go to the local chain store again :)

.Very professional. Explained everything she was going to do and very efficiently completed the work. Very pleased, did not realize I had that much malware on the laptop. It is a joy to be able to use it again.

The company called to arrange a time for the cleaning and then called to do the work right on schedule. They took remote control of the computer via the internet and began the cleaning. Unfortunately, my operating system crashed about 1/2 hour into the process, so the virus removal couldn't proceed. They were very accomodating and allowed me to transfer the service to my brother. He was very pleased with their work. His computer had slowed to a crawl and they were able to remove many programs which he didn't even know his grandson had loaded to the computr plus removing viruses.

, The first person I spoke with was WONDERFUL. He was online with me for 4 1/2 hours! However, he did not completely clrear up my mess. I called the next day and set up a second appt. The second person I spoke with was extremely rude, told me how dumb I was, if I knew anything about computers I would not be in this mess. He did clean it up. no extra charge and did it it in lrss than 1 hour.

The service provider was great to work with and worked the better part of 3 hours to fix the problems.

It worked well. I did email back about a couple of continued problems, but I had to call and reschedule for another look at the situation. Again I was encouraged to let them know if there were continuing problems. I'm sure that would entail another actual call to reschedule. I am please with this service and the thoroughness with which they did their job.

Went very well. Suggested cooling fan and that seemed to help. Runs faster and doesn't heat up as much.

I was very pleased with their help. I can't remember the name of the woman that I worked with, but she was very pleasant and easy to work with. She was very knowledgeable about computers and gave me some valuable advice about setting up passwords. I would use this company again!!!

Tom was very responsive and knew just what to do to get my computer running and optimized. He worked on it remotely for 4 1/2 hours and was very please and easy to work with.

I made an appointment on a Sunday for service Tuesday morning at 9 am. The call arrived promptly at nine. Donna,the service representative, was delightful. Easy to understand and totally competent. I couldn't have been happier. Great service.

The service was fast and effective.

This is the 2nd time I have used them. I had a lot of issues due to malware that got on my computer from downloads. Thomas was my tech and did a great job cleaning it up and getting rid of junk. He also installed some antimalware programs. At the end of the session answered some questions I had, showed me some new hints. Definitely will use them again when I screw up my computer. Price was right on.

It turned out very well. I was happy with them. I am using my computer now and it is running very well. The guy spent more time than he intended to. I highly recommend him. They were good. The deal was for four hours but the poor guy, my computer was so bad, he was on for five hours and I felt bad for me but he completely cleaned it out. I recommended them to my son.

My wife's computer never downloaded Windows 7 Service Pack 1. I didn't discovered this until she told me that the computer was still on Internet Explorer 8 and would not install the latest update. I hate to admit this but I'm a computer science major and have installed this Service Pack on many machines. However, I spent a whole Saturday and well into the night trying to get this Service Pack installed to no avail. That's when I looked up on Angie's List for some technical assistance with my problem. I selected ATR based on the reviews and the tune-up sale they were offering. (BTW-Angie's List is quickly becoming one of my favorite sites for solving my problems.) ATR called me the day after and we discussed my problem with Service Pack 1. Although a bit outside the scope of the $99 tune up special, they said that they would take a look at it. If they ran over they would charge me by the minute based upon the tune up price. How could I refuse? While they offered me a number of times and days, I scheduled the tune up for Friday, Mar 28th at 2:00. At about 2:30 I had not heard from them and gave ATR a call. Donna profusely apologized. She was having some difficulties with another client and asked if I would wait. This was not a problem and anyone in the IT world knows these types of things come up regularly. I initially gave them a "B" rather than an "A" rating on punctuality. However, the extra time and effort they put into fixing my problem more than made up for being a bit late and I changed the rating back to an "A". Donna contacted me about 3:00 and got right to work. The cleanup went relatively fast but she did find a Trojan in the root directory. I'm not sure if this was the cause of my Service Pack problem or if it was user error. I usually perform virus scans with many of the tools ATR used so I was surprised that they found something. This only teaches this IT professional that it's good to have another professional check out your machine from time to time. By about 5 o'clock Donna started downloading the Service Pack 1. It was s-l-o-w-g-o-I-n-g. My computer was wirelessly connected to the Internet which takes additional time. However, I did not want to connect it directly as that isn't the environment in which it runs. Service Pack 1 finally installed almost at the end of my 4 hours...and then we had 89 updates!!! YIKES!!! By this time it was late and I asked Donna if she'd like to stop. She said that she really wanted to make sure my system was working properly after installation of the updates. Plus she needed to install my Java. So we sat there and watched as the updates slowly updated-one by one by one. By about 9:30pm the updates had finally finished and Donna could complete the remaining tasks. She said that since all she was doing was monitoring the download, ATR would only charge me the $99 fee-even though we had run over the allotted time. That was very nice of ATR and I didn't expect such service and dedication. The computer is now running great and everything is updated. My wife can now access the Internet. ATR did an outstanding job. From one computer specialist to another.

Spencer first of all is a professional and knowledgable of computers. He told me my computer was pretty old and seemed to have many issues. He told me he would do his best to clean up my computer and make it run more efficently. Spencer accomplished this goal. My computer runs more efficently; downloads are much faster, have not seen any "pop-ups". I also have not experienced any "freeze up" issues which caused alot of frustration because of the time needed to reboot. I felt Spencer went beyond the time they usually spend on working on computers to make sure my computer was working properly. Spencer is a great computer technican to work with and I would certainly request his services should I need them in the future.

the only issue was the initial communication. once we connected everything worked well. we spoke on the phone & set up a convenient time to work on the computer. Donna called me, listened to my issues ,took over the computer & fixed everything. She was excellent. Vince

The hard drive was scanned and checked. Anything that needed to be checked and repaired, they did it. My computer is running much better! Alexander Technical Resources is a very professional and reliable company. I would recommend them.

I liked thses peple and don't want to badmouth them, but did not notice any signifcant change. when return for good on march 20, I'll turn on my desktop and see what i see. that s why i've been so slow to answer.

Donna at Alexander Technical Services contacted me by phone at a pre-arranged time. She then accessed my computer remotely and determined that I had an issue with my boot sector. Donna recommended a couple of options to fix my problem; I choose the one she recommended. She then worked on my computer for 6 hours to complete the task!! I will use them again and recommend them to anyone with a problem!

My computer did not run any better afterwards, but I learned some helpful information from the technician.

The service turned pretty well. The virus took a while to find and fix. Because of this, the deal made the cost much more reasonable.

I was ;having a slow response time on my computer, the technician was courteous and very professional My computer as cleaned up and it works perfectly now. I will definitely use them again.
