Everything is great now. I purchased the $59 Angie's List deal, but was upsold immediately to a $99 deal by the company. They said what they needed to do would take way more than one hour. In their defense, it took more than four. Worth it.

The service turned out very well. The service was preformed remotely for a diagnostic and maintenance. They seemed to be very thorough, knowledgeable and well qualified.

Because I am running Windows Vista, there were some problems. They spent a good amount of time (over and above) trying to resolve those issues. When I called back after the service had been completed because I was having trouble playing video, they got right on to my computer, downloaded a program to resolve the issue and I was set to go.

I was very pleased with Donna. She was professional, courteous, and personable. Donna diagnosed what had to be done with my operating system to restore it to factory specs. I had inadvertently backed up my system unnecessarily to my C Drive. The manufacturer had already completed that task to my Q Drive! Donna worked on my computer over 2 hours!!! Donna answered all my questions and concerns in a professional manner. All this for only $99.00!!!

As I stated above, some problems were resolved but others were create. Office for Macs in not functioning. The wireless connection to the Internet has been degrading since the repair. I received an email approx. 15 minutes before my scheduled call for me to log into an account so that they could remote into my PC. At the exact time of my appointment I received a phone call from Donna. She talked me through everything that she was going to do and explained how I could communicate with her while she was working on my PC. We continued to keep in touch and approx. 3 hrs after she started my PC was back to working normal again!

I would like to give the company a better grade, but they get an F. They contacted me in a timely manner, rescheduled once and were ontime the second date of service. Whey I descibed the issues I was having with my computer - they immediatly advised me I wanted the FUL system scan - which was $40 more. I agreed to the price and they started their remote session. After several hours of scanning, they called to say they were done - but when I tried to start the comptuer - it would not even boot in the SAFE MODE. Immediatly the excuses came out - the hard drive must have been on the verge of crashing (nope - stil works great). As we struggled to restore it - and ran into issue after issue - the comments switched to -"XP is buggy that way - that is why Microsoft is discontinueing it. I finally found a trick that would allow me to get the start menu and enough capability to run scans and restore the computer to the point it was usable. At that point the tech signed off and I was NEVER even contacted with a follow up to see if the computer was still working. They took the payment, ran the scans and ran from the issues. I will never ever use or recommend them.

The first guy I talked to I thought was good and then I talked to the owner and he noticed that his fellow made some mistakes so he, himself, worked me through it. My overall impression was very good because he did not charge me any more. He told me he really emphasized training and that he was going to have to work with this guy. I would not hesitate to use them again at all. I may call them with another issue. They are very solid and are a much better value than the bigger chain stores. Their follow through was every bit as good as the bigger stores. Their price was about a third of the bigger chain stores. My old computer had a lot of problems and they helped a lot.

It went fine. They did what I assume is a fairly standard cleanup of the computer, all remotely. It helped for a short time but within a few weeks the computer was running slowly again. To be fair, it was an older computer and probably needed replaced anyway. For the regular price I'm not sure it would have been worth it but for the deal I got I thought it was fair and worth trying to see if I could get more life out of my computer.

I never feel like they are in a rush to finish the job. They stick to it until all issues are resolved. Best computer repair I have ever used.

Donna discovered nearly 700 infected files. She removed them. She repaired the Windows Updates that had not been installed. She enabled my USB ports so that my camera could share photos with the computer. A minor problem showed up the day after the "treatment" and she was able to diagnose and fix that too at no extra cost. All of these services were provided remotely. I was home with my computer and she was in Atlanta. She maintained a very professional manner and she shared information about software that could help prevent future problems. I am totally satisfied and grateful for her help.The computer is faster and the display is clear. They did not call me to schedule and I was expecting them to contact me. I called them and they said they would get back to me and never did. I am in the process of getting the Big Deal refunded.

The computer was not running to our satisfaction, we bought the computer service and they accessed it. After working on the computer it was worse than before. We contacted the company to explain the problem. We were in the middle of moving from Colorado to New Mexico so they were unable to get to it until April. Although they got it running, it still is not running as well as it did prior to their working on it.

Good. Efficient and friendly. They were very knowledgeable.

They were very helpful. One person called me on a Friday afternoon and gave me the number of a guy who I could call on the weekend. She also talked to that guy to inform him I would be calling. Scheduling the technician was very easy and I even got in on the weekend. They did not try to brush me off. Unfortunately my computer is now dead.

I researched several repair/service options prior to selecting Alexander. They exceeded expectations... Highly recommended. Donna ROCKS !!!

Donna, the technician was great! She set up an appointment with me to run a clean up on my computer to address the many issues I was having. We discussed what was going on and she answered all my questions and gave me some valuable advise as to what to look for when downloading info from web sites that could cause problems. She then took control of my computer as I watched her go through quiet a bit of effort cleaning up the issues that were causing a lot of frustration. After getting very little help from Microsoft or Dell to clean up my problems I was very happy to have found ATR on Angie's List instead of getting involved with a boiler room repair service out of the country.
