The provider contacted me prior to our appointment to find out what my needs were and set up an appointment day/time. She sent an email prior to our appointment so I could be ready to allow remote access to my laptop. The appointment started within the specified timeframe and the work was completed efficiently. Our laptop had been running so slowly that I rarely ever used it. Now I can use it without frustration.

Donna agreed to contact me at a certain time, and at the designated time, she made contact. This is the second time I have used her company for help with my computer. She is absolutely the best! I would recommend this company, and specifically Donna, for help with any kind of computer problem.

The service worked out great. I did not pay anything additional. There was nothing that I didn't like. The one that helped me, was incredibly generous with her time, she was very knowledgeable, she seemed very patient with questions, she listened well, and responded with appropriate information, and it was great.

They did fine. They sped up the computer, but it was slower three months later. I realized it was more of a slow computer than it was them. They were seemed very skilled and knowledgable.

They gave me excellent service and explained that I would need to take in the computer because it was not something that could be fixed remotely.

Donna was a joy to work with. She was very patient with me and my questions. This process took close to six hours, but she never quit on me. She was very knowledgeable and extremely professional. I was ready to purchase a new computer and throw this one out the window. She not only fixed the issues, but went a step further to educate me on how to keep it running nicely. I was a little hesitant to do a remote hookup and let someone have full access to my computer and all my personal information, but I watched all her keystrokes and she never even came close to accessing any personal data. I found this company very trustworthy and I would not hesitate to use them again, and would highly recommend them. Donna was a dream to work with.

I was nervous at first about the remote access, but Donna and Spencer were wonderful and it was a good experience. It was interesting watching him work on the computer and I highly recommend them.

The service provided was excellent. It took almost 4 hours to complete the tune up of my pc. Viruses & malware was removed & unnecessary programs were also removed. My computer performs much better after this tune up. The technician showed great patience with me, & did a great job, & I am very satisfied.

My computer had been hacked and there were many problems to correct. He spent many hours working on my computer to get it cleaned and safe for me to use. Very dedicated and competent. I would use this service again if I were hacked again.

Very smoothly! Spencer took the time (a lot of time!) to figure out a way to infiltrate and set up a new account in order to perform the necessary work to remove all the problem areas, which were many.

My laptop got smacked on a counter and hasn't worked since. I've been trying to decide where to get it repaired or if it is even worth it. After speaking with Spencer and answering a few key questions to clarify the problem, I see now the cost of repair is beyond the value of the computer. I appreciate Spencer taking the time to diagnose my problem over the phone and save me much time. He even gave some good suggestions on shopping for a new computer. I hope the new one never needs repair, but if it does ATR is where I'll go. P.S. Thanks for renewing my faith in the idea of customer service.

The service was wonderful. I had two technicians who worked for more that five hours total to clean up my computer. Thomas and Donna were the technicians who worked over two days to get my computer virus free. It is now running faster and I am more confident that I am free of viruses. I didn't like the idea that I had one and I certainly did not want to pass it on. I will definitely use this service again. I am grateful for their exceptional work. E Susan Kellogg

I can nearly always repair my own systems but the issues were beyond my capabilities to address. I was ready to throw my computer out the window.....Donna did a remarkable job identifying issues with my computer and repaired those issues. She was courteous and professional. It took over 3 hours to sort out the issues. At the end Donna identified a few issues that could not be handled remotely and provided me guidance on what I needed to do, that was most helpful. I will definitely use this company again.

Now my computer is working much better and so much faster. I had trouble at last minute even getting an internet connection. Thomas stayed with me until I got a connection and we were able to get job done. Much appreciated and a good deal. I am more informed now about my computer too.

My computer was treating my monitor as if there were two screens. They did a great job figuring out and resolving the issue.

They said I have a virus and even Norton is struggling to remove it, so there wasn’t anything they could do right now to help me out. I appreciated his honest.

While they were not able to fix any of my computer issues. They were very professional, tried several things and nothing was able to work to get my PC working correctly.

My computer seems to be working fine now so I had to cancel the appointment. If I do need this work done in the future, then I will definitely give them a call.

First, I apologize for this coming so long after the service. I had filled out the review form long ago, but I guess it didn't go through. Alexander Technical Resources were very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. I was home with the computer and Spencer from ATR was in his office doing things remotely. Spencer explained things well to this non-techie and worked past the allotted time to try to solve the problem. I could be doing things here while he was working, and he called occasionally to have me do something to the computer or just to update me. We had bought the laptop used and it had gotten progressively slower and almost impossible to use online. Spencer worked on it, coming at it from several directions and cleaning up many issues (among other things, the virus checker I had installed came with a virus itself!), but eventually had to call it quits - the people who rebuilt it did it wrong, leaving all kinds of code that was now screwing it up. He could clear each line of code, but it was way beyond the scope of the clean-up, and we could probably buy two computers for what it would cost! He gave great advice on what to look for (and what to watch out for) in a used computer, and some tips on where to find a good one. So we'll get another laptop for my husband when he gets too fed up with this, and I'll be calling ATR back soon to work on my Mac!

They (Donna and Thomas) worked on my computer on 11/10/2014 from about 1:00 p.m. my time, until about 7:30 p.m. They only charged the $99, even after all the long hours. When I tried to use the machine today, it was locked up. I tried my internet service, got a guy in India who I couldn't understand, and who got angry with me when I couldn't push a huge roll-top desk to unplug the modem. I called a different number for my internet provider, got someone I could understand, but who told me I probably need a new modem. I finally called these guys back and Spencer walked me through several procedures until it was working properly AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE! These people are super intelligent, VERY patient with this "old dinosaur", and so easy to work with. I will definitely use them again, and will tell everyone about them! I would give them an A++ I'm rethinking my internet provider, though!

I was having lots of problems with my laptop. It looked like a bunch of software got added around a particular date. I didn't install them and didn't know what they were but whenever I was on the internet, I was bombarded by ad after ad. It would just keep opening new windows and wouldn't let me actually see or do anything I wanted to do. It also kept kicking me off our wireless network. I tried to uninstall the software but that didn't help and new software kept appearing that I couldn't stop. I worked with Donna. She was very courteous and professional. She asked me what issues I was experiencing, remotely accessed my computer (she sends you a link to download), and checked around while I stayed on the phone with her. Then she told me what she was going to do. We ran into some problems when we tried to reboot the first time, but she was persistent and we worked through it, constantly explaining what we were doing. She did ask for my password so she could keep working and rebooting. When we were done, she told me to uninstall the software that allowed her to remotely connect and she reminded me to change my password. It took much longer than the 2-4 hours advertised, more like 6-8. I was working from home on a work laptop and while I needed to be generally available so she could reach me, it's not like I had to sit and watch her all day so not a big deal. She was working in the background, she would call if she needed something or to keep me posted for the work. everything seems to working just fine now and I am very pleased. I would recommend and use them again.
