My " Adobe Flashplayer" and "Java" where not working for months. I had no idea how to fix them, so I when to Angie"s List for help I saw the deal from ALEXANDER TECHNICAL RESOURCES for a $99.00 (special) to tune up a computer. I bought the deal. On 01/29/2015 I called for an appointment, and was scheduled with Donna Volgar on 01/30/2015. Donna promptly called at 12 noon and we got started. Removing malware and other unnecessary software items went well. Trying to install Adobe software became a real problem. At 5:30PM Donna finally was able to solve the problem. She set a new user file and was able to download all new "Adobe" software. Donna really went the extra mile to get my computer up and running. ATR & Donna where great!

Overall it was a very positive experience. When I called to make the appointment, they were able to make the appointment for the same day. She contacted me exactly when promised. She explained exactly what would occur, then took control of my computer to examine all of the different directories and folders. She did a very thorough job accessing areas of my system that I didn't realized were there. My system is running much faster and glitches I assumed were normal for my computer are now gone. I am extremely pleased with the service. I will mention that the service did take longer then it probably should have, because the technician was working with another customer while also working with me. Therefore, there were very long pauses in her working with my system, while she was working with the other customer. She did apologize for the delay, but it would have been a bit more comforting to know she was focusing on one computer at a time. But again, I am very satisfied with the result.

My start up disk on my mac was full and he said he was the mac expert and could help me. Computer stopped working again about a week later and he told me he was too busy and would get back to me in about 2 days. Not good customer service. I am going to cancel charge on my credit card.

Donna, the tech, was so friendly and so prompt. She spent some extra time getting things done for me, and the computer runs amazingly well now. It's like a brand new machine. Thanks to Donna, and ATR, for the support and help. I will definitely use them again if we have issues.

Everything went as planned. They called when they said they would and finished the project sooner than expected.

WOW These guys are awesome. My computer works better than when it was brand new. Would use these guys again in a minute. Very happy with there service.

Spencer attempted to get into my machine but was blocked by the malware that infected my computer. He tried several times and used other software programs until he found the right one to clean my computer for top efficiency. Update as of 2/5/2015 I purchased the deal and was told by technician that I should purchase malware from an provider they use to provide additional security beyond my Norton security system and I did so. Today, I could not access my computer. I found out that I had a Zeus Trojan horse. This stopped transmission & Norton had identified that hackers from the middle east had accessed financial information from my computer. I indicated to Norton that I had technical support from Alexander Technical Resources. I found out that they are not Microsoft trained technicians and that in restoring my computer to proper function, it opened the way for this very severe infection that tries to gather financial data from my system. I now have a Microsoft trained provider through Norton working on my computer. I also spent the last 40 minutes calling my banks & credit card companies to alert them of the issue.

Donna was very competent and knew what she was doing; answered all my questions; keeps up with the technology better than I ever could since it is her full time job.

I was very satisfied. They were quite good. They did a thorough job going through my computer, and they even handled an issue that popped up after the fact, at no charge. If I need, they'll be the first people I'll call!

I first spoke with Donna at the company. She was very informative, gave me advise as to what I could try and when I asked her questions about a new computer, she was very knowledgeable and detailed as to what I may want to look for. I then scheduled time with their technician, Thomas. He called and was able to remotely attach to my computer via the internet and my permission. It took several hours for him to run different programs to remove things I did not need to be on my computer, were harming the speed, maleware, etc. I now have a computer that runs fast and has been cleaned up of junk that I was not using. I would strongly recommend them to look at your computer and do the same. Very knowledgeable, friendly and quick.

It went great! Donna contacted me when they said she would. I told her the problems I had been having with my computer and she said she would check things out, uninstall what needed to be, and update other things. I am not computer savvy, but she explained what she was going to do to my complete satisfaction. It took the full 4 hours, but I just needed to be near the phone unless she got disconnected. My computer is so much faster now. She fixed all the issues I was having. I am very pleased. I plan on having them go through my computer once a year.

Donna took control of my computer, installed a male ware program and cleaned up a lot of unused files.

It was terrible. They completely messed up everything. After two days I deleted everything they uploaded and I eventually had to buy a new laptop

Our computer died, and they have not called us back. I no longer need the service.

It went really well! I had a few problems he couldn't take care of, but he took care of the majority of them.

It took them about 3 or 4 hours. He took out all the junk but it didn't fix the problem because the issue was I needed a new modem.

They were excellent. I would recommend them highly. I am very happy i found them.

Donna, the technician, was professional, patient, clear, and thorough. I could not be happier with this experience. There was a persistent malware program that would not go away after numerous tries by me before calling this service. Donna finally "wrestled it to the ground" and got it off the laptop completely. I have worked with computers and various tech people for more than 30 years and have owned many computers. I consider myself to be very tech-oriented and rarely need to get help. When I do, I generally get some one who knows less about computers than I do yet who talks down to me. Donna was excellent in every way and not only was this a good experience for the laptop but I enjoyed talking with her and learned something new. I highly recommend this service.
