Description of Work: My computer kept shutting off so we were doing a process of elimination if all that was need was a clean up or if I need a new computer. $99 was a way better option rather to have to buy a new computer. Turns out it was my hard drive that need to be replaced. Great service though. I would highly recommend.

Description of Work: My laptop was infected with Trojan, subsequently had tons of corrupted files and was totally unusable. Initially I purchased a remote help Angie's deal, but the damage was immense and required hours of hands on work.I had my laptop back in a couple of days. Description of Work: First requested Angie's Deal of $20 off 2 hours of service - says "within 48 hours," but they got me scheduled the next a.m., whew! My Vista was so hosed up that it wouldn't even run the program to give Spencer remote access, but he suspected the likely culprit, told me what to do, and eventually got in. After that, it took him less than half-hour to do requested fixes (mysteriously losing programs and unable to re-download). We were on the phone for less than an hour, so he only charged me half-price. However, prudent to get the Vista thoroughly cleaned up via $99 Angie's Deal for same, so he scheduled me for later that afternoon, as Thomas was available. Cleanup took ~5 hours - at it til 9 p.m. Vista CPU runs better now than when new, as Thomas changed default browser and did all the settings right (which I never knew how to do), among myriad other good stuff. | |Spencer and Thomas are highly punctual (link waiting when I logged into email), incredibly patient with a computer-dummy, and can explain things in English rather than geek-speak. What a relief to find some real-deal IT guys who know what they're doing and are there when you need them.
