My computer was not performing at full capability and I suspected virus. I had purchased spywares, registries, cleaners, as well as anti-virus and still got a virus. Donna spent time teaching me about all about the pros and cons of each product. Suggestions she made were more cost efficient and smarter, plus they worked better and easier for me. Yes, my computer was wiped clean of the virus and is functioning better, however what I learned to better maintain my computer was priceless. The cost was very reasonable and yes, I will use them again.

I called early in the day and they worked on the problems the entire day. They kept me informed of what was going on, which is important to me, as I am VERY computer illiterate. Donna was able to resolve problem after problem on the computers. Donna and Spencer were friendly, professional and so extremely helpful. Because the scans were moving very slowly, it became a long process, which was out of their control. The computers had BIG problems. Donna was patient and worked through the issues. They did not bill me the hourly rate and even honored their coupon rates for me, although I hadn't processed the coupons at the onset. The company had posted a coupon on Angie's list for a Complete Computer Tune Up for $80.00. My computer was acting up, so I checked the list & saw that this company had an "A" rating from several customers, & the work was recent. Spencer was the technician who contacted me. He was very courteous & patient with me (I'm not proficient on a computer). The work was done a week ago, & my computer (7 yrs old) is working fine. I would definitely contact him again.

I called and scheduled an appointment. The appointment prior to mine was running late, so my service was also about 10 minutes late. It took about 1 1/2 hours but they were able to find a corrupted security program that was preventing anything from loading. They removed the program and added an interim security program until I could reload the one I had. They were professional and I found out that one of the techs working on my machine had only been with the company for 2 days. I definitely would use them again and would recommend them to my friends.

There was a misunderstanding in scheduling the time for the phone call as he had a new hire in the office, however, that was quickly corrected and handled professionally. Upon the rescheduled appointment, I watched Alexander take over my computer via online remote accessability. He explained some of what he was doing as he navigated through the issues and was very knowledgeable about how to do the necessary things. I asked some questions, then we ended our phone call as he would call back when he completed the work. I watched him run a scan on the hard drive of the computer which took at least 45 min (or more as I had to leave for a sport practice). When he completed, he called back and wrapped up the billing with my husband. When I got home all was done and the computer has certainly worked more efficiently! I am please with his resolve of my issues. However, I sent a message asking him to call me back as I wanted to know the details of what he found during his work... were there viruses, etc.? I have not heard back from him and am disappointed that I don't really know what the cause of our problems was. I'm thinking this is just simple oversight, but bad follow up service none the less. In the future, I will probably just disconnect my computer, take the CPU to a local store where another skilled tech can do the same thing for a bit less! Alexander's pricing was not very clear and I feel that we paid him an hourly rate when for almost one of those hours, he was sitting back watching a hard drive scan! I feel that his price was for his expertise, but mostly for the convenience.

Spencer with Alexander Technical Resources turned out to be quite the hero! When I contacted the company and was told that the service was to be completed remotely, I hesitated. I thought I could learn more from someone sitting at my computer with me. Spencer explained exactly how the work was to be performed, it sounded acceptable so I made an appointment for the next day. Spencer phoned me exactly on time. Not only did he fix all of the problems I asked him to fix, he cleaned up my computer for me and answered a lot of questions for me. I am very pleased with his work. The amount he charged me was for a full 90 minutes worth of service, definitely worth the price! I have had other companies to my house that have charged a lot more and have NEVER actually helped me! Spencer knows what he is doing, explains it all well, and is extremely professional. I will definitely use his services whenever I have computer issues. As a matter of fact, the day after my appointment I had an entirely different problem arise than what I already had Spencer fix. I called Spencer to make another appointment. He quickly returned my called and explained the problem I was having I could easily fix myself and that he would not want to charge me for another appointment. He then explained to me on my answering machine how to fix my new problem, no charge! I fixed it myself today and couldn't be happier with Alexander Technical Resources! This company will help you!

the original plan to clean up the computer didn't work, Specer offered to come to the house on Saturday. He arrived on time and walked me through everything he would do. He even helped me choose a new external drive when it became obvious that mine was no lover working. He even answered the endless questions of my 6 year old son.

I contacted the company to set an appointment. They called precisely on time, and started the repair process. When the initial work was done, they had completed what they said they would do, but I still had a problem that was clearly beyond the scope of what we had agreed to. They then spent an additional 45 minutes to fix that problem at no cost to me. Overall, I was very satisfied with how they performed.

I selected this computer service provider based on high ratings and "awards" it had received. I have not received a reply from them despite their advertising a "guaranteed" four-hour response time.

It started with PC #1 which had the most problems. While trying to connect with the Spencer's site Java crashed. Spencer walked me through reinstalling a new Java program which made it possible to connect to his site while on the phone. We went through the sign-in process which is simple and Spencer took over and I hung up the phone. About an hour and a half later Spencer called to tell me he was through with the cleanup and wanted to know if we had any other problems he could address for us. There were a number of issues which we walked through together and got corrected. Spencer is very patient with someone like me who knows very little about these magic boxes. He made several suggestions which will be very helpful when implemented. His service is well worth the price and I hope he is in business for a very long time.

Spencer was extremely thorough and professional, and he was able to solve the problem quickly. I really appreciate that he was able to work on Saturday morning to help me since I was not able to meet during the week because of my schedule. I would definitely recommend Spencer to anyone who needs any computer repair services.

Impressive. Results exceeded expectations. Even though the laptop has full McAfee updating constantly, Internet Explorer became infected. Toast. Over the phone, Spencer walked me through starting up in safe mode, creating another user account, other steps I can't remember to work around the virus, and then I was able to connect to him. Victory. At that point, he remotely took over, and I watched as he went everywhere to repair the damage and clean up. He was very creative with the initial workarounds and then did an excellent job repairing, but also deleting all the accumulated junk files. The machine now runs better than I ever remember. His price was significantly lower than one of the big box stores. If your machine is acting up, Spencer is the man.

I received a prompt response from Atlanta Technical Resources suggesting I give them a call. I responded with an email asking if they had experience with the specific issue I'd described in my original email and asked for a couple references for whom they'd resolved a similar issue. I got an email back from Mr. Spencer Alexander that I thought was extremely unprofessional and quite rude. In addition, he did not answer my questions, something that always makes me suspicious of a vendor. I responded politely and asked if he would answer my questions please. I have not heard back. I have extensive experience dealing with a variety of computer vendors in commercial settings. When a vendor ignores my questions and presents an "attitude", it raises a red flag for me.

Spencer was called and he talked me through the internet hook up with his. He immediately took over and we went to dinner while he repaired the computer. He called us at the restaurant and we completed the transaction. When we got home , our computer was like new again. He completed the work under the time he thought it would take too. Excellent!

Spencer fixed my computer from his office by my allowing him to access it remotely. It worked perfectly for both of us! The time was cut in half, he performed his usual magic touch, and my computer works great now. Excellent service.

I was able to make the appointment quickly. They were very professional. I haven't worked on the computer yet, but I'm sure that they made it perform better.

How easy it was to have everything cleaned up over the phone! The poor guy was working on my computer for-EVER because he said I had the slowest modem he'd ever seen. Unfortunately, my problem turned out to be my hardware, and I was lucky it happened to boot up for his call. It hasn't booted up since, so I'm going to have to have him come fix that as well; that's why I have an "N/A" for quality. I was very satisfied with the service all around, even though I can't use the computer.

It was wonderful. It was all done remotely. I bought a $125 cleanup for $65 promotional fee. I would pay the full $125 in the future. They called me and told me what to do so they could access my computer. They spent a long time on it. I could watch everything they were doing. When they were finished, they called me and logged out and all their icons went with them. They gentleman who called and did the work was friendly and professional. He was suppose to just clean it up but he helped me with my screen too. It's surprising how much junk you get on your computer after a few years. I didn't know what junk to delete and what couldn't be removed without damaging my computer. What a relief.

I bought a Angies List Big Deal coupon for this service. Because of my crazy work schedule it was very difficult for us to set up an appropriate appointment. Spencer Alexander was very cooperative in trying to accomiade my schedule. He readily ageed to performing the computer clean up on Saturday morning, not part of his usual work week. I expected a somewhat perfunctory service. I figuered that a clean up would take maybe 30 to 45 minutes. 2 1/2 hours later he was still at work. The change in my old computer is astounding. I explained to this computer idiot all of what he did in a manner even I could understand. I just want to let anyone know how much I appreciated his attention, competance and clarity.

Spencer remotely took control of the computer and I watched off and on for 1-1/2 hours as he performed sweeping checks for malware, deleted countless junk files that my clean-up programs missed (despite many efforts on my part), and changed settings to optimum levels. One example of how fast the computer is now working: It used to take up to three minutes for my browser to come up and connect with the internet. All of that now happens in a flash -- about five seconds. When we spoke upon completion of his work, he explained why he made some of the changes and he recommended future upgrades for me to consider. I really appreciate having that additional information and context. Great service. I'm highly satisfied. MARCH 10 UPDATE: Because of my satisfactory experience described above, I had Spencer work on a second computer (one I use primarily for business) to take care of a virus problem and uninstall a program that my system would not permit me to do. Also had him do a general search for malware & other issues. He did it all in a satisfactory manner. Will use him again.

Spencer's magical fingers completely overhauled my computer from slow, stubborn, not-working-well computer to a fine tuned machine --- I feel like I have a brand new computer! He patiently diagnosed the problems and fixed everything beautifully in just a few hours. He is punctual, efficient, and reasonable. I highly recommend Spencer!

My computer was long overdue cleanup that required much more time than was expected. Instead of the usual 2 hrs., Spencer spent all the time required to get the job done for me via remote access. He went above and beyond. He spent over 5 hours to to uninstall a lot of garbage to get my older computer to operate more efficiently. I found Spencer to be extremely knowledgeable and quick. I would recommend him and I expect to return to him when my computer runs into trouble in the future.

I sourced and found Spencer through Angie's List, of which I am a member. In total, Spencer has provided computer services on three separate occasions. The services performed were on my mother's PC which is several years old and frankly, needed to be replaced. The first visit was to clean up her PC which was running slow. Despite the age of the PC, Spencer really helped clean up a lot of unnecessary files and "stuff" and go the PC running better. My mom was thrilled - it was a definite improvement. The second visit was a few months later to look at a blue screen error and the third visit was to set up a new PC and transfer files and programs from the old PC. Spencer is a jewel. He was so patient with my mother, who is a senior citizen, during every service call and explained everything to her - just as anyone would hope their parent would be treated. I appreciate his professional demeanor and willingness to take the time to make sure she understood what he found and what he recommended. From the first appointment, Spencer built credibility and trust with my mother, so that she did not hesitate to call him the next time she had a problem with her PC. He did not pressure her into services or decisions but gave her all of the information and allowed her to determine what she was comfortable doing with her PC. He kept his appointments and arrived on time. Each visit was conducted with efficiency and thoroughness. It's not just that he knows what he is doing, but more important to me, it's how he does it. He never made my mother feel ignorant or that her questions were stupid. Every house call was a good experience for her and I would not hesitate to call upon Spencer again.
