It did take him 4 or 5 attempts to get it to work. But he did a good job fixing the problem and so far so good.

The woman who came out was great. She set up my computers for me. She took her time to explain everything to me. I gave some of her business cards to my friends.

I've used them multiple times & like their service. I get a hold of them & they come out right away. They can also remotly connect to the computer. They're always available.

Donna was very professional and knowledgeable. She explained very clearly everything she was doing to fix/update the computer. She solved my computer problems in a timely manner and the cost was super reasonable!!! I will definitely recommend this company to others and will use them in the future if needed.

She was able to access my computer and discovered the problem - but could not fix it. Gave me options on what I could do to fix the problem. Was disappointed that it could not be handled remotely. Had to leave for school the next day and found a geek on campus who was able to fix everything.

I was very pleased with the service! Everyone I worked with (the owner and technician) were extremely helpful, professional and knowledgeable. I was provided tips on ways to run or store things on and clean my computer. I spoke with the technician to get things started and then she was able to take over from there, which allowed me to continue working (on a different computer), so I could didn't have to remain focused or engaged in the process ... very helpful and efficient! I would definitely recommend this company and use them again.

I had a problem with my Outlook program on my computer. I called and set up an appointment a couple days later, I got a call from Spencer and he was able to repair the problem and save my files.

I called Alexander Technical Resources because of their high rating and numerous favorable reviews here on Angie's list. I was put in touch with one of their computer software repair specialist (Donna), who first listened to the basic problem, suggested that it was likely she could fix the problem, and made an appointment for a specific time the next day to directly access my computer online and diagnose the viral problem. She made it clear that I would not be charged until it was determined a fix was possible. [In reality, I wasn't charged until all the work was completed, which was really nice!]. I knew in advance how much the charge would be and Donna honored a coupon amount made available through Angie's list, which also helped keep the cost low. Donna called the next day exactly when she said she would. The work required to fix everything was extensive, but I had to be online for a small fraction of the time it took to analyze and repair the entire system. Better still, I wasn't charged for waiting through time-consuming procedures like defragmenting the hard drive. Donna simply made sure I knew how to proceed when the process finished and our session was over. She left detailed contact information about how to reach her should there be any problem. Fortunately, it worked perfectly. A terrific, efficient, professional job I would say.

Work was completed in about 20 minutes with no issues. Technician called ahead of arrival as requested. He also asked if I had any other computer issues that needed attention as I still had time remaining on the minimum hour block of time. I appreciated this very much. My only con for this vendor is that neither the technician or the scheduling person were particularily cordial. I was left with the feeling that they prefer to work remotely as opposed to making on site visits. Would use this service provider again though.

Donna was punctual, kind, patient, and courteous via phone helping me with a tune up (that I used a coupon for from Angie's List saving me $100 right there). She answered any and all of my questions and I never felt like I was wasting her time. I was a little nervous about using a computer repair company that didn't have a service person right in my home...but using this company via wireless was so convenient! She took over my computer and I was able to do other things around the house waiting to hear back from her when the tune up was done. She also helped me organize how I saved photos and helped me manage the drives more efficiently saving me memory space. It was quite honestly the best experience I have had with a computer or tech person...ever! It was also the best $100 spent to get peace of mind that my computer is running efficiently and has correct and updated virus protection.

It went well. They were professional and cured my computers. On my desktop they suggested that I add memory,giving me general instructions on how to do it. This turned out to be good advice as it remedied the remaining problem. I would call them again.

I was EXTREMELY pleased. The computer work was done on time, professionally and at a price only a little higher than that originally planned for. (It was not a problem, I will explain.) When I contacted Angie's list and signed up for the deal they gave me a number to call. I called and spoke to Donna. She was very courteous and told me that they could schedule me for noon time the following day (which happended to be a Saturday). At approximately noon, Spencer called and we talked about my problem. He was very patient and understanding with someone who knows virtually nothing about computers. He took charge of my machine remotely and began asking me some questions, especially about things I had that were "resource consumers." He then said I could hang up or stay on the phone, but in either case I could watch what was happening. I knew I would just be a hindrance so I hung up and watched. From there, Spencer flew through all sorts of steps running programs to search for problems. Because my computer had so many problems, as the end of the hour approached, Spencer called me back to let me know the status. He confirmed what I was seeing on the screen that I had 98 issues that needed to be resolved. He gave me the choice of fixing as many as he could or go over the hour and fix them all. Because I had been watching, I could see that it wasn't as if any time had been wasted so I gave him permission to continue and it went about twenty minutes longer than the original hour scheduled. The charge was about a $1 per additional minute. He finished up in 22 minutes. I was EXTREMELY pleased with the results. My computer runs like it did when it was new. Spencer said if I had any problems to call him back. I did not. In today's environment, you are lucky to find a service provider who will give you a fair price and blessed it the provider then turns out to deliver everything promised. I got both. I highly recommend the remote service to anyone, like me, who is having a problem and doesn't want to just "leave a blank check on the table". I will definitely use this company again.

Donna did a great job. She called on time and listened to my laptop whoa's before she began. She was able to speed up the performance of my laptop, fix the Microsoft .Net update failures, and fixed my issue with the recycle bin not emptying. It took her all day to get through these issues but she hung in there and was always pleasant. She answered all my questions and gave me some solid advice on what to look for in a new laptop (my hard drive is starting to go bad) since I use photoshop software which uses a ton of resources to run. I would definately recommend and use ATL again.

My cumputer was slow, lots of bugs, crazy pop-ups, etc. Spencer took over remotely and after a few minutes on the phone together he took over, called me back in a couple of hours, and everything was perfect - faster and debugged. Not sure what he did but he did it well!

When I contacted them and gave them my story, they advised they had a special which would probably fix the problem and save me money. I logged on to Angieslist.com, got the coupon and called them back. They remotely accessed my computer and within 2 hours had increased the speed by at least 200%. They are very knowledgeable and able to communicate with a "technophobe". I would recommend them to anyone and will use them again.

My computer was a mess - slow and showing signs of infections. I was unable to access certain highly important web sites like those of my bank, credit card company and investment firm. I was very concerned about these sites being hacked so I wanted a cleanup and wanted it fast. I got it. I had called Alexander Technical Resources on a Friday afternoon and spoken with Donna. She explained that Spencer Alexander, the guy who would do the work, had a very full schedule but that he would call me the next afternoon at 2:00. He did, at 2:00 on the dot. He went to work immediately using a remote support system, GoToAssist. He hit some problems at the beginning - all the fault of my computer - but each time he instantly came up with an alternative. Once he had control over my computer he started the cleanup. I could see everything he was doing on my own screen (without understanding a lot of it) and it was impressive - deleting hopelessly outdated files, clobbering infections and putting efficiency back into my system. He spend nearly two hours and when he was finished, I had a like-new computer. If I need this kind of support in the future, I will absolutely call Alexander.

Spencer arrived on time and was very courteous and professional. He quickly diagnosed my internet connection problems and fixed them right away. While working on my computer, he offered lots of suggestions for improving my internet experience and saving money. He was very personable and did not talk down to me as I'm no computer wizard. I'm very satisfied with my experience and would not only use them again but would recommend them to my friends. A+ all the way!

We were in need of a computer professional to set-up our cables properly so that our main computer, wireless laptop, and other components in the house can be connected to the internet. Donna Vogler was extremely thorough and patient with us in explaining in "laymen's" terms how everything should work. She was connected to the internet service provider and us up and running in less than an hour. We definitely want her return for any computer related service.
