Description of Work: Donna spent many hours cleaning up my PC and getting it up and running. I appreciated all that she did.

Description of Work: My computer got infected with a "redirect" malware, and I couldn't fix the problem myself. I used Angie's list to select a reliable service provider (I selected: Alexander/Atlanta Technical Resources) to fix my computer remotely. I worked with Spencer (the owner), who was extremely knowledgeable, patient and explained everything he was doing. Spencer fixed my machine quickly, professionally and was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Alexander/Atlanta Technical Resources for your computer repair needs.

Description of Work: Donna, from Alexander Technical Resources, took over my computer by remote control and was able to diagnose and repair my computer for me which was suffering from spyware and a Windows issue. I just sat back and watched as she was able to solve issues that I had wasted hours and hours trying to figure out.

Description of Work: Spencer is awesome!! I hired him because I couldn't figure out a way to stay permanently logged in to accounts like yahoo, msn, a few other accounts where I was having to "login" several times a day. IN addition, I had several viruses I was unaware of, so Spencer did a complete "overhaul" of my computer. He honored his Angie's List coupon for $99.00. . This young man is smart and knows EXACTLY what he's doing. I live in Denver, CO, and never had to leave my home to have my computer repaired. The computer had multiple problems that I was not aware of, and Spencer cleaned it up (repaired) and helped me with a few other issues, all within about two hours. His prices are fantastic, he's very honest and very nice. I would HIGHLY recommend him. If you live in Colorado (or anywhere else) he works remotely so don't let that fact that he's not in your state scare you. Spencer -- you're my "computer guy" from this point forwad. Truly excellent. Description of Work: I would absolutely use this service again. My cheap HP laptop was not performing well after owning it about 18-20 months. I considered tossing it, but thought I would try this service first. For only $80 this service my my laptop operate like new. He said it was actually in decent shape before, but when he finished removing bad files it worked amazing. For someone like me that doesn't know a whole lot about computers, I will likely use this service about once a year to keep my laptop running smoothly. Well worth $80!

Description of Work: I was having problems with my compouter only when accessing Citrix system to connect with my work server. I lost mouse control whenever accessing Citrix. The technician did clean up alot of they steems and Unfortunately, approximately 2+ total hours of work from Alexander Technical Resources did not solve the original problem. However,in their attempts to resolve the original problem, many other things were cleaned up. The Technician was very nice and called back several times later that night to see if programs were being cleaned up properly.

Description of Work: Trouble with computer virus, scrolling inoperable, access to Google Chrome not working. The repair person was friendly, experienced and worked the repair remotely. I was given an approximate amount of time and they used every minute for the quoted charge and even gave me a phone number to call them on the same day of service to contact them if needed. However, I had continued problems with Google Chrome and Facebook (which I did not have with Facebook prior), and they e-mailed me with a suggested tact but it was not successful. I suppose it is my fault for nsot pursuing them by phone to correct the problem without additional charge.

Description of Work: When I discovered a major malware problem with my computer, I called Alexander Technical Resources and hooked up instantly with an associate. Donna was extremely helpful and very thorough with her diagnostics and special pricing. We scheduled the service for the following morning via the internet. It was a pleasure not having to unhook and drop off the computer at a remote location and wait for weeks. Donna was on time calling and walked me through the process and answered all my questions. Once she was in control, she started cleaning and checking my computer (software and hardware) for problems. The end result is my computer is fixed and now running faster than it has for years. I will not hesitate to use this company again and highly recommend it. JN

Description of Work: This service was FANTASTIC!!! Extremely professional, courteous and knowledgable. They made an appointment with me for the day following my call. Logged into my computer and worked while I went about my day. The offer was for up to four hours of service work, but I know the technician worked on my computer for a good five plus hours. He was courteous, patient and knowledgable. My PC was running sooooo SLOW before I had this work done. Now it is running much better and I am a lot less frustrated. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this service!

Description of Work: Spencer remotely logged in to my desktop, analyzed my computer, found the virus and removed it from my desktop.

Description of Work: My computer was running very slowly & I needed a full diagnostic of it. I called the company; they returned my call within a day & set an appointment for the next day. Donna was the technician who helped me. I never had the experience of computer help online so it was very interesting. I could follow what she was doing & she answered every question I had. I was told to let her do the diagnosis & go do chores or whatever. It took some time but when she was finished she explained that (1) I needed more memory and gave me excellent tips about avoiding viruses, what to get rid of that could be harmful, & updated Java for me. She suggested I use Google Chrome instead of Mozilla as my browser since it was faster. She copied all my favorites to Chrome & set up a weekly update & search for virus program as well as an additional disc cleanup program. She answered all my questions & if I didn't quite understand, she rephrased them so that I did. The service was excellent & thankfully my computer is running better as a result of all her help The only problem I have is that my printer is now out of whack & I will call to ask if she can answer a question regarding its driver & not having bust controller. Overall a wonderful experience.

Description of Work: In July, 2012, bought two hours worth of computer technical support, through one of the "Big Deal" special offers. The service was provided remotely in the first week of December. The remote connection software seemed to work well and smoothly, even though the connection is only a 1.5mb DSL line. Service rep was courteous, professional, timely in beginning and fixed two problems, one of which, unfortunately, returned after about three weeks.
