Cleaned up and tuned my laptop. It is much faster now. It boots faster and runs with no errors.

I was initially skeptical about having the work performed from a remote location. In the past, I took my computer to a repair facility or had a tech come to my location. But after doing some research, I came to understand that a high percentage of computer repairs and services are handled from a remote location these days. So I called and spoke to Donna and received a simple explanation about how the process works. We then agreed to connect early the following morning. Donna called at the agreed upon time and I was asked to follow a few simple instructions. She then did her magic for the next few hours, during which I could either watch her progress on my screen, or turn my attention elsewhere. Once completed, Donna called me back and I had an opportunity to ask my remaining questions. Finally, we did our credit card transaction. The entire process was painless!

We have had our computers for three years and except for the free anti-virus software from our ISP we have done very little maintenance on them. Spencer said both computers were already functioning well. He answered all of my questions and made some software suggestions. I look at this as preventative maintenance and gaining peace of mind. It went very well. It took 3-1/2 to 4 hours for the process to be completed, and I feel comfortable that a good, thorough job was done.

I spoke with her over the phone. We played phone tag for a while, but I know she was busy, so I don't blame her for that. She did give me a few numbers she could be reached at. I asked her a few questions over the phone and she wasn't able to solve the problem, but I appreciate the time she took with me and the effort she made to be available, especially since we weren't able to really speak until after the Deal expired.

Alexander Technical Resources was fine. They solved the issue. We signed into Skype and they were able to take control of the computer, it worked great. They were very professional, did a good job and everything went great. I would use them again. Their price was competitive.

Donna was right on time, but I was not. She patiently waited while my PC slowly booted up and I was able to go online and access their share site. I had been having issues with slow startup and operation, plus major issues with passwords for several email and other accounts. I was having to change passwords as often as 3 times a day. The new passwords would work for one or two log-ins, but were unrecognized the next time I tried to log in to the accounts, especially when I did a cold startup. Donna was so professional that I was able to leave for an appointment shortly before she had completed the clean-up process. I reconnected with her when I returned to get a report. I was really surprised that both my Malware program and Norton 360 Premier Edition failed to catch the malware, but I guess no protective service is 100% effective 100% of the time. The only hangup occurred the following morning when start-up triggered a file verification process. Donna had warned me about it, but not that it would take over 5 hours for it to complete the process. I called ATR and they acknowledged that the process was taking an inordinate amount of time, but that I would have to wait until it finished or risk more problems. Startup is now very speedy and nearly every process is faster. I will definite use Alexander Technical Resources again when needed. The password problem is much better - only two glitches so far. I purchased a deal, paying $99 for 3 hours of computer services. I got more than I paid for!

They were very good, I purchased more hours. They were very helpful, very efficient, I would highly recommend them. You know when they went on to you computer but they're not on the spot. They did it online, they were very good and they solved the problem. I'm very pleased with them. They were excellent over all.

I purchased a coupon for $59 for a computer service. Donna called as scheduled and proceeded to bring some organization and control to my laptop. She cleared up a lot of ongoing issues that had been plaguing my laptop for some time. She streamlined a lot of features and reinstalled some malfunctioning software. I feel I got a lot of bang for my buck and intend to call in a year to get another "tune up". The service was convenient. I made an appointment and she called as scheduled. Her software took control of the computer and she quickly went through what was needed to be done.

He repaired my computer without ever even coming to my home. It ran much better after he worked on it. He did the job in a timely fashion.

We were having problems with getting our printers to do their thing and print from each computer. Spencer took over our computers and had us up and running in no time. I'm happy that I have a new IT guy and his name is Spencer.

I had purchased a double session as there were four old desktop computers from which to get information. After an hour, Spencer had done what he could as a couple of the computers had hard drives that were just totally corrupted and no information could be taken from them. He offered to take the two computers home and try to do what he could to see if any of my information could be salvaged. I didn't hear from him and a few weeks later called him. He told me he couldn't do anything with the computers. Because of the sensitivity of some of the information on the drives, I needed them back and he graciously left them at my door one day while on another job. I would definitely call him again if I need computer services.

It went okay. He did the work that was stated within the deal. They took a lot of time taking care of the computer. I couldn’t really see the difference but they did what they could do. I will probably end up purchasing a new computer and they provided good information in what I should look for.

It went very well! I worked with Donna, who was very professional and pleasant during the whole process. I set up the appointment by calling their number on a Monday and scheduling the cleanup for Friday at 4PM CST. They hadn't called by back by about 4:10 PM on Friday, so I called them, and Donna immediately apologized for being a few minutes late. That was the ONLY thing that went even a little wrong. Everything else was GREAT! They sent me a link in which I agreed to allow them to take control of my PC. Donna and I talked on the phone for about 10 minutes and she looked at a few details in Control Panel as well as asked some questions regarding what I needed to be done. At that time, my PC would only boot up in safe mode due to some virus I somehow received that affected by video card. Donna got rid of that! After talking with her on the phone, Donna asked if I would prefer sharing my password with her or if she should call me back whenever she needed to log back in to my PC (it had to be rebooted twice for the changes to take effect). I chose to have her call me back, which she did very promptly. I could see everything Donna was doing and there was nothing intrusive about the whole process. She installed some free virus-check software as well as some scanning software that looks for malware and anything else that is suspicious in nature. After Donna finished, she gave be some brief details about all she had found and what was repaired- but the cost was still $99!! My PC now boots up great (over 300% faster in some instances) and I can now start my computer in regular Windows mode. I highly recommend ATR for the great job that Donna did. This was a really good deal in my opinion and saved me from considerable expense and hassle of having to leave it with "someone" that I didn't know. Excellent job Donna and ATR! Thank you!

It went very well. An unusual problem occurred that required interruption of the remote tune up. I was given instructions on necessary steps and warned that the symptoms might indicate a hardware problem. Fortunately for me, I was able to complete the suggested steps after which ATR resumed it's work and completed the tune-up package. They subsequently helped me with a problem at no additional cost. I recommend them without reservation

Everything worked out fine. They were responsive. They were able to inspect my computer but unable to solve the issue.

Amazing work. I watched as Spencer cleaned 8Gb of trash from my fragmented files and registry, cleaned up unwanted programs, removed malware that my virus program hadn't caught and made my 4 year-old computer new again. I was blown away by how much he did in 3 hours and how much he accomplished on my system. I was going to buy a new computer, and now won't have to until this one wears out. I'm planning on having him do this once a year. A total professional from a first tier engineering school. I'm a believer. I called Spencer after calling three local companies, none of whom have even returned my call yet. In a field of geeks and flakes this guy and his associates are smart and professional. It turned out great. I spoke to the gentleman over the phone and he was able to troubleshoot my computer from his location. He did it electronically. He got a lot of problems taken care of and then I decided to come to my home and do a home visit as well. I had him come for 2 occasions and I have told other people about his service and I think it is wonderful. I was having problems updating Microsoft. He told me that he in general didn't believe in doing a lot of these updates. That was my problem. I don't remember that the computer was crashing. I was getting failure messages when I tried doing the updates. He, over the telephone, was able to see what unnecessary software was on my computer. It was amazing. I could sit at my desktop and watch the process take place. I have recommended them to a friend of mine because they were having major problems with their computer. I don't have anything bad to say. It was the first experience where I had a computer person come to my home. He cleaned the hard drive and I think he thought I needed a driver and he was able to fix that on the second visit. I had first emailed him. Rather than respond to the email, he called me within a day. He was on time with the telephone appointment as well as the second visit. He was extremely professional. If I ever had another problem with the computer I would call them without a doubt.

My call came just at the time they specified, Donna was very professional, yet very personable. She answered all my questions, some of which had to be the 1000th time she had answered them for somebody, with no trace of exasperation, or irritation at my ignorance. She did her job quickly, and was finished at the time she said she would be. I have no idea exactly what she did, but I do know that it's needed periodically for the computer, and I figure the cost is just maintenance. I was very happy with this company.
