It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was awesome. I got online and we talked to each other. I had turned my computer and then I pretty much walked away. If he saw any problems, he'd call me. It was super easy.I'd do it again and I would definitely recommend he. There's some program that she can make into my computer so basically, she took control of my computer.

My computer was so messed up it took almost 30 minutes just to figure out how to transfer the controls over to Donna. What we thought would be about an hour of work turned into over 5 hours as Donna PATIENTLY explained exactly how fouled up my computer had gotten. I learned an awful lot about MALWARE and the pure joy it places into the computer to keep one's day from being boring. Seriously...I was called at the exact appointed time. Donna explained, in detail, what she was going to do and had me follow along for a while. She is extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. I can't say enough good things about Donna and the company she represents. If I have problems in the future, this is the place I'd go to for answers. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending them for rectifying any computer problems that can be dealt with remotely.

After reading the reviews about Alexander Tech Resources I went to their web page and saw where you could call first and ask questions. So I did and spoke with Donna. Donna was so awesome!!!! After telling her about my computer problems and asking if the clean up 'special' being offered would help me she asked me a few questions- ie = date I purchased it, model number, memory and RAM etc. She then went on to expain to me that it might help for a little while but to be really honest my computer was on the verge of being obsolete. ( it's a PC=Dell XPS 400) and xp programs will no longer be supported as of 4-2014 and I really need more of the RAM now days. I explained that I feel so illiterate when it comes to computer technology and she has been one of the few people I have worked with that has not made me feel like a fool because of it. I asked her for suggestions as to the type of computer and what I should look for when buying one. She was so so knowledgeable, understanding, honest, patient and kind. Didn't make me feel like an idiot at all. Allowed me to write down everything she was expaining and repeated and/or explained in more detail (laymens terms) what I didn't understand. Loved speaking with her. I will call her back again when I finally decide on a new computer as I'm still not sure as to the progams I need. Would highly recommend working with ATR especially if you can work with Donna. Because of this interaction I would definitey consider calling them for any tech support that I may need in the future.

All I can say is if you need anything done to get your computer running this is the company to call. Donna took remote of my computer and had it running in about 2 1/2 hrs. Supper Job !!!! Will use again for sure. ? Very happy !!!

It was FANTASTIC!!!!! I have never had my computer tuned - up, but it was not working well and was very slow. When I saw this deal and that it was only for $99 total and done remotely by the company I jumped on it! Best thing I EVER did! My service Tech was Spencer and he called me to begin right on time. He told me he wasn't sure how long it would take but he would check and redo everything that was needed to get my computer to work like it did when I first purchased it about 5 yrs. ago and he was right on! It made SOOOOOO much difference! It is like I bought a new computer and now I know that the only programs that are on my computer are the ones I want on! He worked for over 4 hrs. on it and took care of everything. The only thing I had to do was be here to start up the computer and to take calls if he had some questions about whether I wanted to keep something or not. He only called once and then we talked at the end when he summed up everything. It was a fabulous deal (another great deal from ANGIE!) and I couldn't be happier. Spencer was professional, knowledgable, and very nice. No matter how much was wrong - he kept going to fix everything that was needed. I can't thank him enough. I will certainly use this company again!

Everything went fine. They were a little off on the time they told me they would call, but besides that they did a wonderful job and I would recommend them to others.

From the start, Spencer was first-rate. I used the deal six months after buying it and certainly appreciated that there was no expiration date. My slow (and, as Spencer discovered, underpowered) desktop badly needed a tune-up, and I was concerned that I had somehow deleted a clean-up program I had had installed some years ago. Spencer politely led me through the logon process and then spent a full three hours going over everything on my computer. Interrupted by a power outage caused by a thunderstorm at his end, he promised to continue and complete the tune-up as soon as possible. Only two working days later, he contacted me, as promised, and put in another two hours on the clean-up. He has ensured that I am now getting the most power and speed that this poor old computer can manage. He also provided me with some requested guidance regarding my possible purchase of a laptop in the near future. I simply have no complaint whatsoever with Spencer's skill, promptness, and professionalism. I will definitely use his service again and will recommend it highly to my friends.

Appointment was set up and I was called at the scheduled time. Donna was very professional and helpful. She listened to me and was patient with me if I was slow to understand what she was talking about. She gave me advise, but did not try to "sell" me anything, like some other remote services tried to. It took 7 hours for her to complete the job. I did need to be available by phone at that time and needed to get her reconnected to my computer a couple times. It was not a problem for me because I had no where else I had to be, but that could be frustrating for some people if they were in the same situation. It is not a complaint about their service, it is just something to be aware of.

Everything tunred out well. We had other things they needed to look at and they were easy to get a hold of and they followed up as they said they would.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went well. He did the service online. They were very patient and very thorough. I would recommend them to family and friends.

I called on Saturday and explained the computer issue I was having. The person I spoke with said that they were busy because an Angie's List coupon had just been made available but I was able to set up an appointment to speak with a tech on the following Monday at a time that was convenient for me. Donna called right on time and was able to fix my problem within the hour. She did not hesitate to answer other, not necessarily, related questions. She was very friendly, polite and professional. On my original call I had been told that they would honor the Angie's List coupon price even though I had not purchased the coupon. Donna had a record of the conversation and gave me the discounted price. I would not hesitate to use this service again and to recommend them to others.

Terrible. Cost too much and he screwed up the laptop.

Service was excellent . The virus was removed and we did some file clean-up.

I used them through a big deal I bought on Angie's List. My experience with them was very good. It was quick service. They were very thorough, and they did a very good job. I would definitely use them again in the future.

It turned out pretty good, I guess. They cleaned my computer but I don't know if it's a whole lot better yet. It just needed to be cleaned, I guess. It just needed a clean up. I chose this provider because of Angie's List, I guess. It took four or five hours. It was fine doing it over the phone. I guess it's better.

Donna was the rep. and tech. for this process. She did an outstanding job for me by being patient, thorough, and very professional. The entire procedure took approx. 2+ hrs and was everything I expected and more. Her advice was wonderful as I was using a few programs that were contributing to the overall problem. All viruses and malware were identified and deleted. Great telephone demeanor also.

This is the second time that his company has repaired my PC, and in the future they will be my first call for my needs. I turned the operation of the computer over to Donna and she called me when she was done. I waited by the phone at my home. The only better situation would be that the computer would not be handled by the manufacture's rep.

This Review is about the very poor service I received via phone from Spencer. I will preface this review by stating that my previously posted review praised the work that Donna accomplished with Registry cleanup, etc, on our home computer. Today I called and Spencer could not have been more rude and abrupt. This was not the first time he was abrupt, although at another time he seemed fairly civil, but even still, quick to answer your questions as though his time is more valuable than yours. Today I had a brief question, he rudely told me to "hurry up.....". He has you on speaker phone when you call. It was as though I was constantly being placed on hold, all the while during my question! I'd have to inquire if he was still there! Certainly if you have another customer and you are busy, just offer to call me back or place me on hold, hence what good business etiquette dictates. Donna, the antithesis of Spencer, is most helpful, friendly, professional, and knows the value of a customer. I'm still happy I chose ATR, but only because of Donna's customer service skills and expertise.

Spencer Alexander spent hours, literally, cleaning up my computer. It was doing some very strange things and I couldn't connect to Internet Explorer at all. My computer is working fine now, thanks to Spencer. It is running like new! He is the most knowledgeable person that I have ever met about computers. I watched (for awhile) while he took remote control of my computer and he did sooo many things like going through unnecessary files and deleting, doing numerous scans and virus checks, etc. He absolutely made sure that everything was checked and rechecked. He is very thorough and very personable. It was an extremely reasonable price. I shudder to think what I would have paid had I called one of those places that come to your home or taken it in to be fixed at one of the electronics stores. I even requested that he contact me in one year to get another cleanup. I can't remember when I have been more satisfied with a service! I HIGHLY recommend him!

Spencer immediately answered an email I sent. We set up a time and he called and got to work on my messed up machine. He worked on it several hours, but the operating system was pretty messed up. When he found out I had a Dell, he mentioned that it had built in repair. He told me what to do. After we hung up I started my pc and hit F11 key and it brought up a page that listed repair. I selected and followed all the prompts. It took a while, but it did work! It repaired my machine and brought it back to factory state. It saved all my files that I checked off during the process. My machine is working like new and lightning fast. Many thanks to Spencer.

Identified problem and fixed it, something local email provider was unable to do.

Donna spent approximately five and a half hours on my computer via on-line examining and cleaning the funtionality of my computer. I was able to comunicate with her via phone and/or chatting on-line to discuss the problems I was having with my computer. Donna was able to locate multiple viruses and eliminate the viruses as well as remove unneccessary files within my computer to increase the speed of my computer. She also updated my computer with security features to minimize the chance of me getting another virus in the future. Through discussion, she explained based on the age and model of my computer why it was running slower than more current computers. She provided recommendations on what to look for within a computer if I were to decide to purchase a new computer. The end result was my computer performed better at the conclusion of the services she provided. I would definitely recommend using Alexander Technical Resources again for future services. Donna was an excellent technician and was very knowledable.
