Air Duct Cleaning
They sold me something that I think I got taken for. They told me I needed it for mold. So I bought into it for mold, but I didn't need it. So I felt they kind of ripped me off a little bit. It was not Sears, but these guys who worked for Sears. They told me I needed this thing up in my attic and I really didn't I found out. Be honest about stuff, don't try to sell something that is not really needed. The workers were fine.

The actual purchase was fine. Delivery sucked. The refrigerator has not been very good. I probably would not get back there for purchasing. Sears doesn't actually deliver, they have contractors that deliver, and it's like a nightmare if you can find to get someone, and they're not very good.

I was promised delivery and set up of a water heater in 24 hours. The installers were to call at 9:00AM to schedule the installation I never received a phone call. Called Sears back and was told they would call by 10:00 am that never happened. The installation people then told sears not until Monday!!!!
These guys guarantee delivery and set up in less than 24 hours this is a joke and the guarantee is worthless. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SEARS

Let me start by saying that I have a love/hate relationship with Sears appliance sales. Cons: PAINFUL process on delayed delivery dates, locating desired product that could be delivered quickly, billing issues that needed multiple hour-long trips to straighten out Pros: Good selection, patient sales team, willingness to work our problems and give a satisfactory resolution Our refrigerator died the week of Christmas, with a family of 5, with company coming. So I went to Sears, took an hour, picked out what I wanted, and scheduled to have it delivered quickly. An hour later, the delivery company called to say that they needed to reschedule for delivery a week later. Not acceptable. I turn around to go fix the problem. I was in there for over an hour attempting to find a fridge I would want that could be delivered that week. Finally, we found one that met some of my specifications. I agreed to try it, with the assurance that if I was not happy, I could exchange it within the allotted time period (60 days then, I've heard it's 30 days now). I did just that. Delivery went smoothly, and I did end up swapping it out and am now thrilled with my new one. That should be the end of the story, but... My Sears bill rolls in and there are errors all over the place. Because I bought THREE refrigerators through this process, it was a nightmare to straighten out. One was returned incorrectly, all of the original discounts weren't applied, blah blah blah to the tune of about $800 in errors. It took HOURS to straighten out. The manager did finally get it all taken care of. After telling her I had little incentive to buy through Sears again, she gave me a discount toward a future purchase, which will probably appease me in the long run. They really do have a great selection and if you work the deals and the points, I think it is a great place to buy. And they are committed to making you happy: it was just painful. I do highly recommend working with either Kevin or Abid. They were patient and helpful.

We have responded to your request for a Sears review at least 3 times. This will be at least the 4th time. This service was performed about 2 years (?) ago (can't remember the date at this point), and we sent in the 1st review shortly after the service was completed. The date above is totally a guess, since your system will not allow me to send this without a date listed. I hope this final review is comparable to our original reply to you. PLEASE DO NOT KEEP REQUESTING A REVIEW FOR THIS SEARS REPAIR. Enough is enough.
