We thought we would discover where our energy efficiency problems were, but they instead just told us the cost of repairs for our home. They wanted to completely re-insulate the whole house.

It went well! Everyone was friend, prompt, and professional.

The installers were on time, friendly, and didn't waste time (brought their lunch and ate it in the truck). They answered all my questions and did a wonderful job on the install and cleanup afterwards. These guys were great and I would highly recommend them.

Scheduling was fine. I had no issues and they very informative with any questions I had. When I scheduled, they come within a week to do the work. I was told up-front that they do more than insulation such as energy assessments but there was no pressure to buy additional services through them. A team of four completed the work in about 6 hours.

This was an Angie deal - pay $99 to get $500 of attic insulation. At first, we got a nice little book in the mail - and a detailed inspection of ways to save energy. According to my wife, they used sophisticated equipment to see where air was getting in through doors and windows, etc. After he left, we got an estimate to take out insulation in the attic and replace it - for $3,000+. No estimates on other ways to save energy. What we didn't get initially (due to a misunderstanding since remedied) - and what we paid for - was $500 of additional insulation added to the attic. However, ultimately we did get what we paid for ($500 of insulation for $99) and the work was done well and professionally. The workers arrived when they said they would and kept us apprised. I'm still a little bothered that it took a little while to get the insulation we purchased - and that they used the occasion to try to get me to buy more insulation (and do more work) than I wanted - but at the end of the day, I got what I paid for and am happy. I have revised my original review (and ratings) now that we've gotten the insulation we paid for.

He arrived on time and did a thorough audit of my home. Hope I can stretch the budget to have all work done.

All I want is an inexpensive attic upgrade.

Arbor Insulation Solutions was prompted on scheduled day and start time to begin work. For my pets and my safety we stayed at a friend's house while work was being done in my crawl space. The project manager, Sam, kept me informed during the whole process. Several weeks after work was completed I was having issues with my great room not feeling warm. I called Scott to let him know. He said he would get Sam to come out and check on the issue. It was discovered a duct had become disconnected. Even though issue was not due to any work they had done they still fixed the probelm. The Arbor Insulation Solutions team was professional, courteous, prompt and knowledgeable. I would most definitely hire Arbor Insulation Solutions for my future insulation needs.

It took them almost three months before they honored the contract. They were more interested in up-selling the contract. It was all a bait!

I purchase other services 2 attic door coverings and window caulking. They arrived on time, even calling to let me know the were on the way. They were professional and did a great job. Even cleaning up every thing before they left. The salesman was a very pleasant person, he explained so much about insulation to me, not pushy at all. And the service men were nice people, answered all my questions. I would be happy to do business with them again. And I would absolutely recommend this company.

However, I was not pleased by their lacking clean-up. Scattered blown insulation had fallen on my clothes in the walk-in closet, where the attic access is located. I was surprised that they did not take measures to prevent that from occurring. I found staples in the closet floor carpet below where they had stapled the insulation tent. And the screen was not put back on the window used to bring in the insulation blower.

The crew was prompt, courteous, thorough, neat. Great service!

We had bought a Big Deal voucher for Arbor insulation and wanted to improve insulation in the attic of our house. Mr. Cottrell was very knowledgeable and took a lot of time to inspect our house. He performed diagnostic testing to find insulation leaks. He made a lot of suggestions to improve the insulation. His estimate was surprisingly expensive and we decided to get another estimate which took a couple of weeks due to the fact that it was during the holidays. Mr. Cottrell continued to contact us while we were working on getting the second estimate, at one point leaving a message on our phone with a suggested time to come and do the work. I had to contact him again and remind him that we had not made a decision yet and would let him know when we did. We found him to be a bit too pushy. We eventually went with the other company (Aladdin), because their estimate was significantly less expensive while essentially covering all the services we desired and are we happy with the result. We will let the voucher expire.

Arbor Insulation was professional and thorough every step of the process. The evaluation, which came with the Angie's List offer, was an extensive and hands-on analysis of our home's cold spots, using an infrared camera, which was seen (and actually used) by me as well. A proposal, broken down into several options, arrived by email a short time later. We had to postpone the service twice for family concerns, and every time the scheduler was understanding and accommodating. The two-men installation crew was prompt, polite, informative, and worked quickly through the task, actually insulating far more of the attic than I expected.

Great firm, nice guys, prompt, professional, and neat. Would definitiely use them again.

I signed up for the deal. They came to my house without the $500 of insulation I was suppose to get. They performed their energy assessment. Offered to calk @wiring and plumbing in my and add insulation @ my attic steps for $839. I told them no thank you. They told me to call back and schedule for someone to come out with the insulation I bought. I can't get them on the phone to schedule. The receptionist takes my info and says someone will call you back and they never do.

An appointment was set and they arrived on time and quickly went to work after covering the floor to prevent damage. The two gentlemen were very professional and completed the work in about 1.5 hours without any problems. The finished job looks great and I would recommend Arbor Insulation Solutions to anyone.

I was not satisfied because I have had this done before. The quote was twice the quote of what I’ve had before. I asked for a breakdown of the price and to show my Angie's List discount and all they said was they would take the $250 off the grand total price. I would not recommend them to anyone.

The service turned out good. They were a little late in coming out, and took a month and a half to come out after I purchased the big deal. They said they needed to do an installation for $2,700. There was nothing bad about them, except the time they took to come out. The person who came out did everything else perfectly. I was satisfied.

Provider was professional, courteous, responsive, punctual, accommodating and helpful.

I purchased the Big Deal at the end of November, hoping to have the service performed prior to the end of the year. With the holidays, weather delays, and my schedule, we were unable to schedule the service before February. I was contacted multiple times so that I could be sure I would be taken care of. Originally, I was scheduled for a consultation, a full on analysis of energy efficiency in my home. I explained that I understood that this is the procedure and did not suggest that my home shouldn't be evaluated, but at the current time I was only interested in having the insulation over my bedroom fixed due to time and budget constraints. There was no problem whatsoever with this, and I am confident that Arbor clearly understands what customers' needs are and will deliver. Steven and Zip came out on time, a bit early, actually, and were very friendly and professional. They were very pleasant and took great care to explain how the work would be done and that they would clean up after themselves. The entire job took less than an hour to complete. I am very pleased and strongly recommend Arbor Insulation Solutions to anyone who is contemplating doing business with them.

Stephen and Zip were very accommodating, and quick and efficient. They laid a tarp on the stairs from the front door to the attic stairs and placed the hose on the tarp. They kept everything clean and did a terrific job spraying the blown in insulation onto the attic flooring keeping it off the areas we use for walking on and storing things. They installed a attic door cover which will keep the air from coming into the second floor area, and foamed around it to seal it. The crawl space batting and ties were installed quickly as well and they left the job clean and tidy. They both worked hard and quickly to complete the job.

I feel like it was a "Dog and Pony Show." I did not have them do the work as the cost just came building up. I feel like I was enticed by the Big Deal only to spend thousands.
