I purchased a new air conditioner and it was installed on 6/23/22. I paid $8,195.61 and Hammocks AC Incf. committed to providing 10-year parts and a 10-year labor warranty; they claim on the receipt that they will repair issues that arise as a result of faulty or poor workmanship or labor on our installed HVAC system, provided that Hammocks AC Inc. is notified of the issue during the warranty period. When the technicians installed the new unit, they forgot to take the tape off of one of the parts of the unit, causing water to flood the pan underneath it, into my attic and caused water damage to the ceiling, at least 3 walls and the floor of a second story bedroom, and water damage in the floor of the hallway. In addition, their techs came out and used my home vacuum to suck up the water, which caused an odor to start coming from my vacuum. I noticed the water damage and notified them about it on 6/25/22 and let them know that I filed a claim with my insurance on 6/27/22. They sent someone out to check the leak the day I reported it and then sent one of their techs out to look at the water damage on the 27th, then paid a restoration company that did not offer mold testing to dry it out t on 6/30/22 (so the water sat for 5-7 days) and they never had anyone in management (I have been told it was John in charge of this) call me to explain next steps; they just had the restoration company call me to schedule repairs. The mold testing/remediation was very important to me because of the water sitting for 7 days (I made that clear to anyone who would listen) and the potential for problems down the road. The restoration company then sent someone out to paint over the water damage on the walls and stretch out and reuse my water-damaged carpet. I told them I was going to have a mold test done, and they said they had to stop work and I had to send the mold report to Hammock and they would decide how to move forward. Hammock sales rep, Krystal Burns, told me on July 6th that since I was having a mold test done, that they would have a Hammock insurance agent come out and that I could not do any work until they did; I sent Hammock the mold report and they never called me about the results or sent the restoration company back out. Nobody ever called me from their insurance and I later found out they did not file the claim until July 14th. The estimate to get this fixed was $8,785.63; when I got no response from them through several emails, I decided it was time to contact the BBB; Sheila Hartman response: At this point and time all I can say is please contact your insurance company. Now, I am having to run it through my own insurance and they have never shown any interest in resolving this with me.

I really appreciate this company's no-nonsense approach. Of all the quotes I received, theirs was the most upfront, the most complete and the best priced. Their customer service people were cooperative and friendly as well as Juan and Dimitri's who did quality work installing the air conditioner.

I gave it 4.5 stars even though in the end itâ s a 5. The real test of a company is how they take responsibility and make sure itâ s done right even if there are mistakes or problems to rectify. The owner canâ t be at every install but when there were problems he was right there and made sure everything was done right. The office staff was great too.

We received several other proposals for replacement of our 26 yr old furnace and air conditioning system. Hammock's was very responsive and submitted a winning package for quailty system and installation that fit our budget and desire for better equipment. Less than one week later they installed our new system as scheduled. The install team was very responsive and completed installation in 4.5 hours. Techs were courteous and professional and the install was very well executed. We would, without reservation recommend this company.

As I wanted to do a complete replacement of my 2 AC and Furnace systems, I researched the BEST rated HVAC companies re: professionalism, price, and most importantly, CUSTOMER SATISFACTION ! I decided that Hammock's was my best choice - and quite glad I did . From my initial estimate and subsequent communication with Fred F., then once agreed upon, my 4 installers worked quickly and efficiently in the rainy/stormy weather. They well-completed the job in less than 4 hours . Special call out to Krystal , the Office Manager, who was consistently professional and responsive to any/all questions I had , Bottom Line : Hammock's are PROFESSIONAL , FAIR-PRICED and RESPONSIVE ! The estimate was spot on and not a penny more was charged. The installers were professional and worked non-stop over course of 9 hours to remove the old unit and install the new one. My only complaint was the lack of communication between the corporate office and myself, and even the installers when they called to ask for help or guidance. Overall it was a very positive experience and am very satisfied.

This business is very courteous from calling until the job is done. My A/C furnace/unit was slowly going out. I was given great advice by Josh. That’s what I like is honesty and not just being a salesman. Having Fred come and talk to us about a new furnace was very easy. Fred was a polite and funny character. He got us taken care of without a hitch. We had it set up for the next day. Giovanni and Jose were prompt and explained everything before starting and all the way to the end of installing my furnace. They were very professional and knew what they were doing. I would refer Hammock’s A/C to anyone who relies on trust, honesty and a job well done. I will continue to use Hammock’s from here on out.
