Let me start off by saying,AMC was the first company we have ever experienced that didn't try to take advantage of us,since our move to Florida. After receiving many quotes for for a brand new Central AC unit,and installation,not only was their bid,$2000.00 under the other prices we were quoted,they also have an amazing finance program for those who can't afford to pay for up front for the job. Their installation crew(Darion and Ricardo)came right on time in the morning,and after working with a few obstacles that had got in the way,they still were able to perform professionally, coming up with ideas to make the air handler fit in the way it needed to,in the space provided,with out any damages to the closet or surrounding area. When it came time for the crane to come to lift the 2nd part of the unit and get it up on the roof,it could not be done,because of the palm trees in the way,they called in their boss Jamie who came with another one of his workers,and they stepped and physically hoisted it to the second floor roof. I was very amazed and impressed,on how they were able to do this to them was like 2nd nature. After such a hard day of work, still all the paper work involved was already done by Jamie. Our finace agreement, contract,warranty was already in my email, there was nothing I needed to do. Back to ,not only was the price amazing, but their contract comes with the first 2 years, they service is included,plus 10 years warranty on the unit itself. I would recommend this company to everyone I know,it was a pleasure to have such an amazing company in my home. I forgot to mention we had cold air immediately and within 30 minutes my home was cooled down to the temperature I like it to be,and I saved $2000.00 from a company I almost went through. My A/C had stopped working a week earlier. I called a company I've used in the past, CAC - Central AirConditioning, paying $135 just to have them come on a Saturday. They didn't have a part they needed so nothing was solved. They came again and had a different diagnosis, and said they couldn't come back for another week to run a wire from the unit to the condenser. I reached Action Mechanical Contractors at 9:30 am through Home Advisors. They arrived within 2 hours, fixed the problem in about 90 minutes the same day. FANTASTIC customer service and attitude. Make you feel like you matter. Not a small company, they have 27 trucks. Family owned, one of the owners was onsite. Really impressed.

They did not replace the power cord on the compressor.

They were supposed to put in a specific unit when they arrived at the house I asked if that was the specific unit , and told them the specific unit I ordered, and one of the installers said yes, When they were leaving they handed me a booklet and that was for a different unit than the one that what was supposed to be installed. I googled the unit and it appeared to me to be an inferior unit than the one that was supposed to be installed. When I called the office, I was told a mistake was made and the wrong unit was loaded on the truck. Since I paid no money they asked me for a deposit and said they would come back the next day and install the proper unit. .I refused to pay any money and told them to come back and take out the unit and they did. During the installation there were times that the installers were not wearing masks.

Everyone I interacted with was pleasant and they had great attention to detail. They showed up promptly when they said they would, finished the A/C replacement ahead of schedule and were very tidy with their work. I would definitely recommend them and will use them in the future for our A/C maintenance.

I was told by another company that I needed a new AC unit. I felt the cost of replacement for their unit was high with a not so great brand. So I started shopping around. I found Action Mechanical on HomeAdvisor and gave them a call. They came out with a quote for a Carrier AC that was much cheaper. They installed the unit two days later due to my schedule. They were on time, polite and very professional. The only down side to this was the customer service I received afterwards when I tried to get a maintenance contract For my other unit. I am hoping this has been taken care of as I plan to use them in the future.

Dave Schubert was honest, not trying to push the sale of a new AC unit. He did his job efficiently and in a reasonable period of time. I recommended him to my neighborhood email group. I wish all AC technicians were like him.

The Company was prompt and kept their promise to install a new unit by the next day. Everything was handled long distance so I cannot comment on the state of the unit as I didn't see it. The technician was good about letting me know exactly was wrong with the old unit.

Initially scheduled to do work tomorrow, however due to cancellation owner Jamie called me this morning about doing my install today, I said yes. Shortly a 3 man crew lead by Arley the senior/head installer arrived. Immediate problem was AH Unit was too big for tiny closet and a 2nd unit had to be delivered. Additional modifications had to be made due to tiny size of closet, very difficult working in such a tight space, But Arley and his crew persevered. There were other setbacks, but this team would not quit. Arley and crew arrived @ 9 am and left @ 3 pm. This is the first time in a week and a half that my family & I will sleep comfortably. I must note that due to the Covidvirus my 2 daughters are working from home, and my 8 y/o grandson is here as well. I cannot thank Arley and his 2 man crew enough for the outstanding work they performed. Since they left the temperature has already dropped 5 degrees. As a Navy Veteran I must tell Jamie, Arley and his crew: "A JOB WELL DONE". HOORAH. Without reservation I strongly recommend AMC Action Mechanical Contractors. F. Gonzalez

Installation was fine. The customer service was poor, unit does not work as promised and they do not answer call backs. UPDATE 10/08/2020; AMC installed a bigger unit and allowed me time to test it and it worked out ok.

Jamie and his crew showed up on time and got right to work. Very professional and friendly. This was my first time using home advisor. I was impressed when Jamie, the owner, called me within 10 minutes of when I initiated my search for an AC System. If you need Air Conditioning in the Palm Beach Area you should give AMC a try. Local and family owned. They re the best.

Top recommended in Angies list. Most responsive of four contractors questioned. Was able to come to our home first among all others and offer to fully install new unit the next day.

Was on time for install as promised. Full crew arrived that were professional competed the install and then cleaned up the area in record time. One of the owners stayed behind to explain how to use the new A/C and answered all my questions. I would recommend this company to anyone who would need A/C replacement or other repairs or installations. Very professional crew and company.

I had a UV light installed. This company's price was half of what EDS quoted me.

The response from this contractor is excellent, Jamie is very easy to deal with. // UPDATE 12/4/2020: I bought a 4-ton **Rheem** but they installed a 3 and a 1/2 unit, which was in a box that said **4-ton**. When I caught the problem by checking the serial number, they brought back a 4-ton, which they never strapped down (which is a code requirement). I have contacted them numerous times but they do not respond! Very bad service.

My A/C went down on Saturday. My regular A/C contractor said I would have to wait until Monday for a new system. I contacted Home Advisor. In less than a minute I got a call from Jaimie at Action Mechanical. I told him what I needed. We discussed two units, both made by Carrier. He came to my house within 1 hour and my new 5 ton, variable speed, 19 SEER unit was completely installed and working at a substantial savings compared to what my regular A/C contractor had quoted for another system. Jaimie and his team are very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. They did a great installation. I would strongly recommend Jaimie and Action Mechanical. They have great reviews, well rated by the BBB.
