Terrible. They damaged my home and will not fix it---even after going through a BBB complaint process.

Worst experience of my life. Work was mostly unsupervised with limited English-speaking workers; also shoddy had to have 3 inspections before passed before adding the shingles. Had to pressure to get what I contracted for. Yet in my inexperienced state of not knowing or comprehending the different type of shingles did not get storm shingles requested and thought I signed for even after asking several times if they were indeed storm shingles. Once the job was started (it took 4 months) the work went really fast ( Ithink that was because a hurricane was headed in my direction). However I contacted them thru Angi, they gave a discount price of $450, but don't be thrilled about that because, it was added on at the end of the job. So you can bet your bottom dollar you are not getting anything taken off the bill.

I had to get a new roof to qualify for insurance on a new purchase. I thought I did good research and selected Total Home Roofing because they were able to accommodate my timeline and were competitive but not the cheapest. Huge mistake! They caused major water damage to the ceilings of 7 rooms by not properly removing the shingles in phases as it is suggested in areas where it can rain with little notice. The warranty department did fix the ceilings and repaint (they get 1 star), but they never did a walkthrough to completely survey the damage. And the haphazard way they applied the shingles in the rain has me questioning the overall quality. Now that I see other people getting roofs in my neighborhood, I know that I made a poor decision in choosing Total Home. Other contractors are replacing boards and covering them with the black tarp that goes down before the shingles over 2 to 3 days, not at the same time. And especially not during a downpour. This is an error that will probably cost me at least double what I paid for the roof down the line. So do yourselves a favor and skip Total Home Roofing. Check out the signs in your neighborhood and see who is doing quality work and go with them instead.

Overall good job, but took longer than expected.

On 8/31/2021 I signed a contract with Total home roofing to put a new roof on my home. On 9/13,9/15 the roofers removed the old roof and installed the new peel stick surface. Then they were going to lay new shingles on 9/17 no one showed to work, I was then told they would be there on Monday9/20 no one showed. On the evening of 9/20, we had a Hugh rainstorm. My home had about 20-30 damaged areas in every room of my home from water leaks. This occurred because TotalHome Roofing failed to finish my roof. On9/24 they can to finally install the shingles, I was told they be back the next morning to finish the roof. It is now 10/01 Friday and no more work has been completed. there is rubbish all over my yard, I cannot have pictures taken of my home for the realtor selling my home. nor can I have the open house with all the debris in the yard. when I call all I get is an answering machine, they will not even return calls. This IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY LIFE I AM 77.

Working with my sales rep Darrin Herrick throughout the process reduced my stress tremendously. He always picked up the phone . The roof looks great!

waiting to start putting on shingles-- still have some material laying on the ground--shingles were brought yesterday--on activity so far maybe today?

I will not discourage someone from hiring them. But I will not recommend it. My soffit was not fixed my same skylight was put up with tar and it looks like garbage. Not what I would expect. I would think when someone has a skylight you would replace especially with a 20 yr old roof.

i hired this contractor and they did a poor job, they left trash all over the yard and offer me an inspection, they did an inspection but they have scheduled another one but they never came back i tried to call them but i dont get an answer of how this will be resolved, besides they caused damaged on my tv cable

I hired total home roofing to do a replacement. From day one was problems. None of the workers spoke English. Nails, metal disc, workers garbage left in my bushes (from water bottles). My roof failed inspection twice once included the trash left and ladder left up on my house overnight. My granddaughter stepped on one of the nails on the left of my patio. Yard and pool service companies tried as much as they could clean up the dangerous mess left. I have plenty of photos to share!

I had Mike Hawkins from Total Home Roofing come out to give me a free estimate on a reroof. He showed up 5 minutes early and was very friendly and professional. He was not pushy and answered all my questions. He followed up 2 days later as he said he would and I decided to go with him and Total Home Roofing. They kept me informed during the 5 weeks process of getting the permits and materials in. The crew did a great job taking the old roof off and installing the nee roof. I highly recommend using Mike Hawkins and Total Home Roofing.

Total Home just finished up my roof. Very professional company. Chris Hawkins did a great job explaining the what was going to happen. Jon executed the roof perfectly looking over the crew. I love my new roof and would recommend anyone who needs a new roof to use Total Home Roofing!
