Buyer beware! Shingle Masters Roofing and Construction does not honor the contract that they and I signed; and they did damage to my house! I held up my end of the contract. I paid them in full upon receiving the Wind Mitigation Inspection report signed by the owner of Single Masters. Shingle Masters split a truss, put deep cuts in roof framing, installed metal straps that are not hurricane straps and provide NO protection (see drawing for how the metal strap is supposed to be used, this is not a hurricane strap, then they put several fasteners into both sides and top of my wood truss), cracked the corners of my house, made my garage ceiling leen down in the corners, put a large crack in my ceiling, Loosely attached 2x4 boards to roof framing for some unknown reason. Cut plywood too far and then just shingled over it. Etc. Etc

My husband and I chose this company based on the positive reviews. What we did not expect is that they would allow their workers to drink on the job, throwing beer cans off of our roof throughout the day. While there was an initial acknowledgment of the lack of professionalism, there was no other follow-up or customer service. Very disappointing.

Shingle Masters replaced my roof. They are the best in customer service, to quality of work,clean up was excellent. All employees respected our property and did a great job replacing our roof. Very professional group. The project was described in great detail and the reasons were given for any cost issues. There was a good number of people on the job during the removal and installation of the roof so that it was completed in only two days even though it was 5000 sq. ft. At all times, an owner was on site to manage the job. Highly recommended.

They are very thorough - go over everything before hand. They include things that other roof estimates didn't include - minor trimming of the tree that was close to brushing against the roof. Also, they completely handled the wind mitigation paperwork for submittal to our insurance company.

There standard is quality installation. I was very impressed that the underlayment they use as their standard is an upgrade for other companies. Their price was higher, but they did not pretend to compete on price. I am very happy with the roof they installed.

Installing the roof today, but this is the company to go with no doubt. Wonderful presentation of what would be done, when it would be done and how it would be done. I had many estimates before, but was always left with many unknowns still hanging that depended on what happened when the existing tiles were removed. The all inclusive price with additional company warranty and in-depth discussion was all I needed to hear. The price not only beat the competitors it included premium items. This was the answer to my dilemma of getting such an important project done right and done with confidence. Give them a shot - you won't be disappointed!

Brock Beauchaine made a very professional presentation, quote,insurance, products. His crew was here early and job was completed the same day. It hasn't rained yet so don't know if there are any leaks. A dry waller has yet to do some repair inside which was part of the quote, but my fault it wasn't done the next day, I had a previous engagement and had to cancel. Over all a very good experience with these people. Time will tell the quality but things look great now.
