Description of Work: Over the last several decades, I've used this company for a variety of services: toilet repair, replacing water line from street to spigot outside, draining issues (showers & toilets), water heaters, disposals, repairing what another plumber did incorrectly. Yes, I tried a couple of the other well known plumbing groups but have had enough disappointments and have resolved to stick with Philip Maurici in order to get first class service, done right the first time. Their classic "how can I make you smile today?" when you call them has never failed to make me smile in spite of the disaster du jour which prompted the call. They are very professional, polite, on time (AND keep you posted if there is a delay), they explain stuff, provide options/costs, clean up after themselves, leave no trace they were in your home. Plumbing is a dirty business and wearing their booties is a big help and much appreciated....we've probably all had our share of bootie-less plumbers tracking in chunks of dirt and muck to clean up..... My latest experience was earlier this year (just guessing it was July) at my mother's house. The toilet in her bathroom was leaking, it was original to the house and used a lot of water. It was replaced with a "comfort height" Kohler. We were concerned about the flush, having heard so many stories of needing 2-3 flushes to get stuff down. We were assured there was no issue with the products they supply....guaranteed one flush. One flush does, indeed, do it and we absolutely love the comfort height. I'm very frugal and thought it was a tad pricey at over $500 - (FYI - you get a better deal if you replace 2 or more toilets the same day). How pricing compares to other plumbers, I have no clue so the price might be quite appropriate. I think you might pay a bit more for their services but not significantly more. As far as I am concerned, there are no negatives to share - only positives. Philip Maurici Plumbing is now the only p;jmber I will use at my house and my mother's.

Description of Work: Plumbers came to fix a leaking toilet. They arrived on time and got right to work. Apparently the mechanics of this particular toilet were a little strange and it took them some time to figure out how to fix it, but they did a fine job. They were there for approximately one hour, they completely cleaned up the mess and were very friendly and informative about why it took them a little longer than usual to fix the problem. Excellent work, all in all.

Description of Work: Came out to fix leak. First person said he fixed leak but did not. Next person came out and told me I needed to hire leak detection company. I hired leak detection company and they found leak. Plumber then fixed the leak correctly. Only issue is the first person who came out did not identify leak and cost me more time etc. Otherwise the company seems like a good company.

Description of Work: I called The Clean Plumbers because I broke a water line. I exposed the line & cleaned the pipe - ready to cut & glue. The Clean Plumbers charged me $89.00 just for the quote and the total cost to cut out and reglue a 8" piece of PVC was $292.00!! It only took 15 minutes to repair, but I could not afford/and strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND The Clean Plumbers.

Description of Work: He repaired a leak in the wall and also a leaking pipe that was going into the hot water heater. He also checked out the rest of the house to make sure nothing else was dripping.

Description of Work: The problem was a blocked kitchen sink drain; while the plumber was there we asked him to repair a bathroom faucet. The plumber arrived on time and started work immediately. He performed his work professionally; however, when my wife began to used the washing machine, the drain backed up and flooded the utility room. Evidently, the plumber didn't know there was a connection between the kitchen drain and the utility room drain. The company sent another plumber right away, who fixed the problem.

Description of Work: MY BATHTUB WAS NO LONGER DRAINING WELL AT ALL. HE HAD TO GET THROUGH THE CONCRETE TO GET TO THE PIPES. THE HOLE IN THE WALL IS COVERED BY A PLASTIC PIECE THAT DOESN'T STAY IN WELL (ALTHOUGH IT IS IN THE BACK OF A CLOSET).
