It went fine. I didn't particularly like the fact that he just went all around and seemed to make every job that I wanted him to look at much larger than it should be. I guess they want to prepare you for the worse scenario. He said I might have to go through the wall and the tiles on the other side and made a big production of it. I left him there to fix that while I went to get my grandchildren at school. I came back he was sitting in his truck. I said that didn't take you long did it? He said no I just changed it out. I wanted him to put in a new faucet for me and he told me that could take up to two hours to do that. I had a friend of mine do it, it took twenty minutes. It seemed that this is the way this particular repairman's way of doing it. I ask him also if he could adjust the pressure in the water heater. He went out in the garage and studied the thing and hummed and ah'd and I never did get that done. He made it sound like that he could do all these things but it was going to be a much bigger project than I thought they were be. He was preparing me in advance that it would be a big bill. I would not call them back because of that reason. I really didn't get a good feeling when he left. If he had given me a range depending upon the complexity of the job, I would have said you have to do what you have to do.

Red Cap did an excellent job. The employee who installed it was professional, early, and courteous.

We have also used them to unclog a sink for us. Their service and clean up was very good. They cleaned up their mess. The service people were friendly and easy to communicate with. They work in teams of two and we also used them for the unclogging of the drain.

Fast, friendly and fair priced. The plumber showed up on time and did the work in a timely and professional matter.

after looking at the existing sink and new sink took 10 min of flipping trough price book to come with a price of $888 told him that was insane so our business was done. He said he had to call his office before he could leave - no answer left message. I said good-bye again, and he insisted he couldn't leave until office called him back. I tried to be nice, but 10 min later I said he would have leave. He asked to let him try office again and this time they answered. He was told he figured the price wrong (no kidding) and the price actually was $509 Had job done for $257 by Continental Plumbing ,who I was very pleased with.

Our toilets were overflowing, but by the time the plumber got here, they were flushing just fine, so unfortunately they weren't able to tell us what was wrong. Since we had to pay a fee for them to come out on a Sunday anyway, we asked them to look at the pipes under our kitchen sink which we've had to fix several times. Reese found the problem was actually not under our sink - a fitting was cracked further back, which was putting pressure under the sink, causing other problems. He's the 3rd plumber we've had look at that, but the first to find the root cause of the problem, so we are very happy about that. Unfortunately, due to the way our system is setup, they couldn't do the service we pre-bought through the Angie's List big deal, so we're hoping to get a refund through the website on that.

The visit from the technician was excellent. He was able to quickly a**** the problem and provide a quick repair. We have had 2 other plumbers complete work on the same faucet and neither was able to stop the leak. Now two months later, we can happily say that the leak has not returned thanks to Red Cap Plumbing.

It went good. He was on time and did what he needed to do. I was happy. They were professional and go the job done right at the first time. Their pricing was fair.

Our plumber was very friendly and very professional. He showed up on time and explained everything he needed to do.

I was extremely disappointed with Red Cap Plumbing and would never use them again. The best I can say is that they are responsive and punctual. The initial plumber came and charged me $150 to cut a hole in the ceiling and told me there is a leak from the riser above the shower handle, but didnt do anything because he wanted a second opinion. The second plumber came out a week later and didnt know what the first guy did, and then recommended I get a third person to remove an unnecessarily large section of shower tiles. Unknowingly, I did get a bunch of these tiles removed. Then, the first guy came back cut a small hole and replaced the shower valve and charged me $650. Afterwards, I called another plumber who looked at the mess these guys left behind and said the valve probably didnt need to be replaced, they cut unnecessarily large holes in the walls, had too much tile removed, and he would have fixed the thing for much less.

I asked serviceman, Trevor, to please make sure that the leak was coming from broken filter under sink; he never really gave me an answer on that. I also asked him to check the master bedroom/bath for leaks since it was smelling very damp. He didn't check for leaks; assured me that if there was a leak in the slab, I would see/feel water. He said the moisture could be coming from windows after it rains and he suggested I get some Damp Rid and leave the fan on in the bathroom. He asked me about 3 times if there was anything else I wanted him to check. I felt like he was wanting to find something so he could charge me more money. He checked my chlorinator and said I needed a filter for it. He said he could work a deal, he wouldn't charge me for the work he did and the filter would cost about $2100-2200. I told him I couldn't afford that and he said he also had a filter that would cost $500-600. Again, I told him I couldn't afford that. I explained that I was trying to fix up the house so I can sell it. He said maybe when it was on the market he would come by and look at it to buy. Felt that was a strange comment. He originally said the work would cost me between $150-175; actually was $195 WITH the Angie's List discount. He also told me that I needed a new garbage disposal, due to rust, and a new faucet in kitchen, it was leaking "like a sieve". He gave an approximate cost of installation only for faucet of $175 and disposal $150. Again, I felt he was looking for more money. The only plus was that he was punctual, actually early. I won't use Red Cap again and would not recommend them.

It was an EZ fix he showed me how I could do it myself next time.Did not realize there was an internal reset button. It was that simple.

Tech said he could not accept the coupon but could do the job for $286.00 cash. I talked to dispatcher, he said the price was fair but could not use coupon. I suspect the value of that coupon is no where close to $405.00 they claim.

We noticed that there was a significant leak under our sink which we hadn't seen and it looked like it could be bad. I called Red Cap (who has done excellent work for us in the past) just hoping that they could see us before the weekend. They immediately sent Scott over, who had the problem diagnosed and fixed within two hours of my call. He also spoke with me about my options and treated us extremely fairly. I HIGHLY recommend Red Cap based on several experiences now.

The guy arrived on tome & was friendly; Very engaging but professional and did the inspection. He kept me informed and was very respectful of my house-wore red booties over his shoes! (To keep floor clean).

They are on Angie's List. They were fine. They were prompt, they came when they said they were going to come, and they were very pleasant to deal with. He worked at our tenant's when he was supposed to show up and he did. I talked to him on the phone and I paid him, and it was fine. It was great. He called me when he was done, he communicated when he was going to be there, he did what he had to do, and he told me what he did. The price was fine. I had other plumbers for other things and they are all on the same ballpark so it's good. His responsiveness was excellent.

They are quite highly priced. They came when they said they would. It was for a little plumbing, they had to put new handles on and it was for an old 1950 house. They were fine but my neighbor really got taken by him and so I will never use him again.

They were on time, they did a good job I was satisfied.

Rep was on time, wore shoe covers while in the house, used drop cloths in the work area and master bedroom. Job took less than 20 mins to complete. Overall a good experience, I think the cost was high for the job, but I had the option to say no.

After giving me a fixed price they could not unplug the drain. They then indicated they could unplug the drain by installing a clean out in the pipe... The technician was not professional and their prices were astronomical. I would not recommend this company to anyone

The plumber was on time, in fact he was 15 minutes early. He's very professional. I will call him again if I need to.

Plumber was on time, and overly priced- didn't like the second visit, camera evaluation with a new price of $1200 to really fix the problem. Won't use them again. Also, the 4-year membership at 7.83 a month?? (won't use them again) Wouldn't you use the camera first to see what the problem is, not after you fix the problem?
