Miller Tree Service

We recently had a problem with a tree branch that needed removing and we had Miller Tree Service. We are very happy with them. We had a tree branch sort of hanging kinda close to the house and called them to check it out and they were great. They got in and they were able to remove it and kept to their quote so we are very happy with the service they provided. The quote was $200. They gave the quote but when they came to actually remove the tree branch they realize the whole tree was dead so they removed the entire tree for us but they kept the same quote so I don't know. The original quote was just removed the branch so they perhaps work to keep the quote. They did it on March 17, 2014.

Millers was very professional! Prompt, helpful and courteous - I don't think we could have gotten better service. Before first service, my husband got 3 or 4 estimates from other vendors, and Millers was the least expensive, so I was very happy they did such a great job! Since then they have removed damaged trees for us at another house and we were just as pleased with their work. We really appreciate that they cleaned up everything so well and hauled away all debris. They were very careful not to damage existing landscaping, avoid power lines, roof, fencing, etc. We will call them again for any tree service needed, and highly recommend them to anyone who asks!

Great. Originally scheduled for a Thursday which turned out to be awash with over 3 inches of rain. Came the following Friday at 8 AM and worked through until 4:30 PM. Three workers with bucket truck, tractor with debris attachment, stump grinding machine and 56 cubic foot truck with debris lifter attached. The three workers completed the removal and piled the debris at the street. Three additional workers with the large trucks arrived at 4:00 PM and all of the litter was gone by 4:30 PM. All of the workers were well dressed, well-spoken, polite and efficient. There was absolutely no damage to anything that was not previously arranged. Additionally, Miller Tree was contracted by two neighbors to limb up trees in their yards which was accomplished during the visit to my yard. The workers wore required OSHA safety equipment (harness and hard hats) when working in the bucket truck. They are hard workers who deserve credit for three jobs well done.

It went extremely well. The crew arrived on schedule and not only did exactly what we had agreed on but also did some extra work at no extra cost when they found some additional problems at the top of trees we hadn't even considered. They cleaned the yard thoroughly and removed all the debris. The crew were professional and courteous. The price was the lowest bid I received. I could not have asked for a better experience.

I am very pleased. I know there are cheaper services, but I know of none better. They were always early, and never a problem. I had another tree service come to look at my trees and tell me how they were doing. He pronounced all to be healthy. 45 minutes after he left, the first tree fell on my house and just missed hitting me.

Completely removed brush, took down dead trees, ground down tree stumps, even planted grass seed so soil erosion would not take place. Top notch service. Exceeded value expectations

HARD TO SET A DATE TO HAVE THE WORK DONE. CONTRACTOR JUST TRIMMED THE END OF THE LIMBS AND NOT THE ENTIRE LIMBS OVER THE HOUSE AS REQUESTED.

We were absolutely thrilled with the services provided by Miller's, and to be honest, kind of amazed! A large water oak on the edge of our yard was dropping limbs dangerously close to the house, so we gave them a call thanks to ads we'd heard in Tallahassee. We also had a large cherry tree shedding berries all over our and our neighbor's roofs, decks and lawns, rotting on the deck boards and shingles and attracting all manner of pests (especially ants). Miller's came out to provide a free estimate, and evaluated the state not just of the oak but of pretty much all the trees in our yard--and we have a lot, since we live in Indianhead Acres! They gave us the earliest appointment they could, which was a few weeks out, but anyone who knows what the summer storms in Tallahassee are like knows how busy the tree services have been trying to keep up. They showed up in the morning to start the pruning with the cherry-picker, and once they had gotten that taken care of the crane came out. We had expected to have tire tracks in our lawn as part of the price of having the cherry tree removed, but Miller's laid down boards and pads for the crane truck's wheels and stabilizing arms, so there wasn't a mark on our lawn! Additionally, they also had a clean up crew to remove not just the branches and logs (which they take for recycling), but even to rake up all the leaves and blow off the roof and deck. We couldn't have been happier with this service, and if we ever need any tree work in the future, we're definitely calling them. These guys aren't just chainsaw-weilding lumberjacks, either--they're true arborists. They love trees, love to preserve them, know a lot about them, and can tell you anything you need to know!

Estimate was reasonable and they honored 5% discount for seniors. Team was punctual, efficient, knowledgeable and professional. We highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

Estimate was the best of the 3 I obtained. They originally gave me an August date, but worked me in earlier which helped a lot. When they arrived at 8am, we briefly went over what was to be done and off they went. The work was excellent as was the cleanup. Could not ask for better work or service. And at a good price. If you're getting tree work done, be sure to get an estimate from Miller's. You'll be glad you did. Also be sure to use the coupon they're currently offering.

They were very responsive as my house was for sale. They were quick and they were there the day after I called.

The job was done with great care for the surrounding trees and the lawn. The work was completed in one day with minimal disruption to traffic in the neighborhood. A very professional company.

.They took their sweet time to get here an haul it off. It took them about a week. Other than that they were fine. They are ok, I would call someone who could help me out faster. They guy that had to remove the stump also took a long time to come out.
