G & S Fence

The fence is gorgeous. The installers built exactly what was designed, and they paid close attention to detail. They're obviously very experienced, and they were nice folks and tidy as well. This was a great project from start to finish. When the wood dries, I'll get with G&S again to have them stain the fence to protect it and make it even more beautiful for years to come. Do yourself a favor and choose G&S.

I contracted with G&S on April 28, 2017. The cost was $6000 and I was asked to pay 1/2 down so that materials could be ordered. I was promised a 2-3 week completion schedule. My family was to move into the property by June 1, and we have a dog. etc., so it was very important for to get this completed on time. The job included both black vinyl chain link and black aluminum fencing. After three weeks I followed up and was told it would be finished within a couple of days. For the next few days they did not show and did not call, and did not return my calls or emails Finally near the end of May they showed installed the chain link fence and left. The rest of the property where the aluminum fencing was to be installed was not done. After some angry calls from me tey admitted they did not have the aluminum on hand I was led to believe they had, and came out and installed temporary chain link where the aluminum was to be installed. Since my property was enclosed I was patient, so 3 weeks I called and inquired as to the status to complete the job. Once again, I was told that "tomorrow or the next day" I would be finished. Again, no show - no call for several days. I sent a text to the owner a few days later. He answered not with "I apologize" or anything else other than an audio file that was sent to me. It was a trucker in Atlanta saying he was stuck in traffic. Finally got the aluminum fence installed 3 1/2 months later however they cut through my irrigation line and said nothing. Discovered this a couple months later after I went to test the system.

All involved were quick to respond, kept us apprised of the progress, and followed up on the finished work. They were all personable, professional, and did quality work. We have called them back to do additional work we were so pleased.

G & S was punctual, professional and did an awesome job. They even brought their own generator for the power tools they used. I was very impressed with the crew that did the work. They did a great job installing the posts on Day 1 and did awesome with the rest of the supports and panels on Day 2. They cleaned up and left the area in great shape!

We want to take this opportunity to say thanks to Travis at G&S for the great job he, his crew chiefs Robbie and Daniel and their staff did on the preparation and installation of our paver driveway, front walkway and walkway connecting our driveway to our pool and outdoor kitchen. Having gotten four proposals, reviewed and discussed with each proposer and had follow-up detail discussions with two, we chose G&S. They took their time and did the job well. In spite of some bad weather, they finished within the proposed timeframe even though two unplanned changes were requested. We would highly recommend G&S if you contemplate a job involving pavers.

In both instances everything went great. Travis listened to what we had in mind for our paver patio. Then offered his professional experience/touch and delivered an outstanding final product. It also makes you know you made the right choice when other contractors tell you that G & S does the best work in terms of quality. For the fence, Travis worked with my HOA to ensure we would be approved and again delivered a top quality product that we love. In both instances Travis's workers were professional and courteous. At the end of the day they never left a mess of any kind. They performed both jobs quickly and in a manner that caused no disruptions to our daily routines. I highly recommend G & S Fence if you want to make quality, professional additions to your home.

The crew who installed my fence - Jerry, Chris and Eric - were very efficient and courteous. They did have some issues such as stumps and neighbors dogs constantly barking which I know was very annoying, but handled all very professionally. The job was completed quickly and looks great! I am now talking with G & S about replacing my deck. The only reason I gave price a B rating is because another company I considered was lower. But, I'm glad I chose G & S.

Excellent, they were on time, didn't waste anytime and were understanding of my need to have the fence replaced quickly because of my dogs.

Very professional sales rep. We felt the cost was high for the work we requested,nearly double the other estimates. We have not hired anyone yet.

Property slopes and has some challenging obstacles (roots, etc.) and they did an outstanding job. Completely secure for small pets. Fence looks terrific.

The work was completed on the date agreed. In the morning there was an old fence and in the afternoon there was a new fence. I had to do some minor clean-up but was overall pleased.

I called Travis just before 5 PM on Wednesday. He came out that day and gave an estimate to repair the fence. My husband spoke with him about changing the design of the present fence to incorporate a double gate into the old fence and Travis gave us a wonderful deal. I had a written quote that night in my email, which I signed and emailed back to him. When I came home the next day G&S was already installing our new fence. It was completed that day. We love the look of our fence with the double gate addition. Thinking of getting a new deck in the near future!

They did a terrific job and I really appreciated all of the people who did the work. So pleasant and polite and were understanding when a huge leak happened when they were almost finished so the project had to be stopped and partially undone until the leak could be fixed. After the leak was fixed, they returned to finish.

The owner and work crew were very pleasant and courteous. Also, they worked constantly and did not goof off. Great results.

G&S did a fantastic job on this project. Travis helped us adjust the design to our specific needs and his crew installed it flawlessly. We are extremely pleased and have already requested G&S to do another project for us involving a deck.

Overall went very well. Finished in a timely manner.

Curtis, the estimator, was prompt in responding to my phone calls and was not in a hurry to get done during our first session when I was working with him to figure out what kind of fences to build. G and S sent out Tyler and Corey to complete the work. They showed up on time both days. They did a professional job. Both fences looked great. I was especially pleased at how Tyler made the top of the fences look good on my sloped property. They did a great job of cleaning up. I highly recommend G and S Fence and Deck and the three employees I dealt with.

We had received several quotes to do a fence and gate for our 6 acre property and most of them lacked both creativity and a price that worked for us. A neighbor told us to talk with Travis at G and S Fence, and we are very happy that we did just that. Travis helped us to arrive a good solution for our needs that was value engineered to meet our budget while still meeting the quality level we sought. He was a pleasure to deal with. We had some factors to deal with during the installation that made the project challenging and we asked for some changes after the work started. Travis never complained, but rather he quickly and effectively responded to our change requests, even though in one case that meant returning a bunch of privacy fence materials that had already been delivered to our home. Instead of charging an additional delivery fee or restocking fees, the only charge we took on was for the actual difference in the cost of materials. His goal was to get it right, not just to get it done. That was refreshing, to be sure. Travis communicated regularly regarding time frames, the team showed up when he said they would, and they did an incredibly high quality job on both our fencing and the gate. We couldn’t be happier. I would recommend G and S Fence to anyone wanting to put in a fence or gate.

He wasn't able to get to my project for over a week, but it wasn't his fault. It was good work, and was exactly what I needed. They made sure it worked.

The repair to my neighbors fence went smoothly. We were pleased with how quickly the work was completed. The worker was pleasant, professional, and most importantly skilled. G & S also completed my deck! The owner, Travis took time to listen to what we wanted to use the deck for and he assisted us in formulating a design to equip the deck for further renovation in the future. The work was completed on time in spite of the weather and the work area was thoroughly cleaned up. The finished product exceeded my expectations. I would definitely use this company again.
