He arrived on schedule and figured out what the problem was. This was a little more complicated that it first appeared, as the water supply line went through a water filter under the sink and that had to be tweaked first before the water would flow. I had no idea that it was plumbed this way, but he figured it out and got everything working as it should. I though the charge was reasonable and was completely satisfied with the work.

I called Friday morning, and Nelson was busy, but ok with me as refrigerator was in condo being remodeled. We made an appointment for Tuesday. He called back Monday at noon, saying he had a cancellation, could he come right over. Sure. He arrived on time, and took a few minutes to diagnose the problem, the broken refrigerator "computer," a circuit board accessed through the back of the box. He advised me of the price, around $350, before he made the replacement, and showed me the genuine GE part brochure, as I asked him if it was a universal device or made for my refrigerator. (I was burned once by a repairman who used a "universal" motor starter which broke after a few weeks.) I paid the list price for the board, around $190, plus labor. I found the board on Amazon for a lot less, assuming you could diagnose it yourself, order it and wait, then install yourself. None of that was practical, of course. So I was pleased with promptness, honesty and straight-forward professional approach.

From the time we purchased our Kitchen Aid refrigerator, we have had an issue with the freezer drawer freezing up and leaking water from between the door seal onto the floor. The issue is caused by the drain line freezing up causing water to back up from the drain pan and trickle into the freezer compartment, causing a glacier-like effect in the bottom of the freezer. After numerous failed attempts at contacting Kitchen Aid to acknowledge and help resolve the problem, we soon found out in perusing online user forums, that this is in fact a common occurrence with this particular model which of course the manufacturer, in true manufacturer form, hasn't issued a recall for. We finally opted to contact Nelson at Best Refrigerator Repair, who was not only familiar with the problem, but had also repaired two other refrigerators with the same issue. He explained exactly what needed to be done and proceeded to make the repair. Nelson arrived right on schedule, was extremely courteous and most importantly knew exactly what the problem was. I'm just not sure why we waited so long to call him. He definitely ranks as one of the best repair service providers we've had the pleasure of dealing with. He is highly dependable and very recommendable.

Called Nelson in the morning. He responded very quickly, came over, diagnosed the problem and repaired it. He was professional, knowledgeable, and a very nice guy. Will definitely use him again and recommend him highly.

Set up an appointment with Nelson Munoz. He contacted me prior to arriving to say when he would be at my home, checked the machine and could not find leak. Told me to contact him if the leak happened again. It did and my husband and I examined the machine while it was leaking and we were able to see where it was coming from. We called and explained what we saw to Nelson.He explained that he did not have the tools to fix the problem but would contact another tech who he thought might have the proper tools. He called back shortly later to say that person did not have the proper tool. Nelson said he would return my payment which was very honorable of him. I would absolutely use the company again.

I called left a message and Mr. Nelson called me back in 5 min. He showed up 20 min later. -- Must be some kind of record. The price was fair and my refrigerator is fixed.

Nelson was very professional, showed up on time, took a look at the dryer, about 20 minutes later he was on his phone ordering the exact part we needed. He can with all his tools, worked quietly and quickly, before i knew if my dryer was working! Thanks Nelson, we'll definitely recommend you to our friends.

Excellent. Nelson was very responsive- i called him this morning and left a message and he returned the call within 15 minutes and set an appointment for this afternoon. He called to let us know he was on his way and arrived promptly. He spent about 30 minutes diagnosing the dryer issues to see what was and wasn't working, and emptied the dryer hose of dust and lint. He also helped me find the right missing part (the knob for the dryer) from the manufacturer's website, which i never would have found on my own for that price. Fortunately, he discovered that the dryer heating element is working ok but that the dryer vent needed cleaning and service, which saved us a TON (we were prepared to get a new dryer if all else failed)! He would have cleaned the vent for us too had it vented out of a wall, but it's on the roof, so we'll need to go with a special service. Nelson was personable, professional, and clear in his communication. He charged a very reasonable amount considering the time and effort he put in, and i was very pleased. I will definitely use him again if we need appliance repair!

Nelson was great. He tried to troubleshoot with me on the phone to save me the service call. When that didn't work, he gave me an appointment for the next morning. He called when he was on his way and was very professional when he for to the house. Saved me from buying a new fridge.

We looked up the best review on Angies list and went with Best Appliance. I have used this system before and never been disappointed. Called them, made an appointment and they showed up and completed everything as promised. Repairing a sub-zero is always expensive but they did a really professional job. We were very pleased.

He came in emptyed the door shelves and put thr rubber gasket in my dryer to unravel the part he removed the old part and installed the newone. he replaced the itens back in refrigerator.He did resolve my problem in a timely matter. I will call him again if I need a repairman again.

He diagnosed the problem with my GE Profile refrigerator and unfortunately, in my case, it was the refrigeration system leakiing. He recommended that I purchase a new refrigerator for it is not worth fixing. He did not charge me for the service call. I appreciate his candor and honesty and will definitely use him again.

Called set and appointment. Came on time he looked it over, tried a few things to repair it but to no avail. Decided best course of action was to replace. So Best went back did some research on part needed, etc. called me a few days later to let me know cost of part and labor, etc. Said ok and he ordered. When part came in he called me back and we set an appt to do the installation. Came back as scheduled, replaced the ice maker, cleaned up and all was well.

I really thought that my refrigerator had died until I found Nelson (Best Refrigerator Repair) on Angie's List. He immediately called me back and arrived exactly as promised. He even called to confirm the appointment and when he was on the way. I really thought I needed a new refrigerator but Nelson immediately (I mean is less than 5 minutes) knew what the problem was. Just a few small parts and my freezer has been working ever since. What a pleasure to find a honest serviceman who will stand by his promise.

Better then we could have hoped. We are renovating a 1924 house and have a house full of workers....none have been as professional as Nelson.

Nelson returned my call right away and came the next day to fix he fridge. He had to order a part but did a temeporary fix so it worked ok while we waited. He called as soon as the part came and got to me the next day. He also fixed my dishwasher that had been filling with water. I would absolutely recommend him.

Ileft a message for Nelson, and he called me back in a reasonable amount of time as soon as he was able to. We scheduled an appointment and he came out the next day calling ahead of time. He did a diagnostic and estimate free of charge and came back a day early to fix the refrigerator after the part he ordered came in. Our refrigerator stopped cooling late in the day on 9/19. Based on the recommendations in Angie's List I called Nelson Munoz at 7 pm and left a voice message requesting his services. Early next morning he called and we scheduled a meeting for noon. Sure enough, Nelson called before noon to confirm he was coming, and then arrived on time. Once at our home he was extremely courteous and professional. After checking the fridge he diagnosed the problem, replaced the non-working part, and the fridge is back to normal. I cannot emphasize enough how professional Nelson's work was; and I can only describe the service call as outstanding. I have dealt with many technicians and repairmen over the years, and Nelson is surely in the top one percent. This was the first time we have used Nelson's services, but from now on when we need to repair an appliance, he will undoubtedly be the person we will call.

Nelson was very courteous and polite. He was always on time and always called ahead so we could meet. He explained everything. He said the refrigerator might be old but with replacing the motor (which he had to hunt for all over the U.S. and found), the refrigerator should be fine to run even longer.Definitely happy with the work and I will use him again.

Our refrigerator suddenly stopped working. It is around 14 years old and we were worried that it was broken beyond repair. We called Nelson and he agreed to take a look at it the next day.Nelson arrived as promised, he telephoned ahead,he was very professional and courteous.After checking out the electronics,he identified the relay problem and replaced it. We were extremely happy with his service and of course delighted that we didn't have to buy an expensive replacement.Thank you Nelson and Angies List.

It went very well. Nelson repaired both the refrigerator and the icemaker when I had thought that both were doomed. He is a very neat worker and puts everythng back in its place.
