Excellent communication with Tom from the day he came out to give us an estimate (more than fair in our opinion), up to the day of install. His son and brother completed the work, and my wife and I could not be happier with the end result. Everyone involved with The Screen Man was friendly, but most importantly, we feel that we made an excellent choice in turning to their professional services, as our screened-in porch turned out better than we could have imagined. They just came in and did the service. It ook 7 plus years to get someone who did what they did. What they did worked and it was very innovative.

Everything went well, they were very polite and professional. The screen lanai was completed in a timely manner and I'm please with the job. Thanks for a job well done!

He came out and did an excellent job and got the screens that I wanted in a fairly quick manner. He got it done within a few days and all the screens held up really well. He did a good job and it was a fair price compared to the other ones I called. He had to put in a metal pipe and buy a door and it was all screened, so the price was reasonable compared to what he did. When I called him about it he called me back, so he got back to me quickly. He was working by himself, but he made sure that he got the door done right and it looked good when he left. It was his honesty when he contacted me and his ability to get out here and give me an estimate really quick that made me go with them. He was good and got it done within the period of time he said he'll do it. He also a very nice guy.

They are wonderful. I am still waiting for him to come back and do the work. He is supposed to call and let me know if he can come sooner than the date he gave me. I was very happy with the quote.

Excellent!Tom screened my front porch. Him and his stuff were cordial, on time and very neat and clean. I will be using them for a new pool cage and I will definitely recommend them to everyone I know. Out of 6 quotes they were the cheapest. They also do overall contracting, so if you need a reliable inexpensive contractor to do work in your home, you need to call Tom the screen man.

He was very nice, outgoing and to the point. He made me feel very comfortable. A bunch of my neighbors surrounding me have used him, I kind of watched his work as he was doing it. I asked him for a quote; he said that he will be there the next day. He came back the very next day and gave me a very good quote. My daughter loved this, because she paid $1000 more than I did for the same size screen porch. He was just absolutely wonderful. I have referred him to three of my friends already.

Overall I am so glad I chose Tom as my contractor...He said the job would take 2 days and that was accurate also. I thank God for Tom because I can't afford a lot. UPDATE: I had a heavy rain over the weekend and not a drop leaked on my new roof job by the screen man... So this project was perfect...Couldn't ask for better quality work & service....

The job experience was lousy. We contracted on or around 09/10/2010. We were told the permit takes 5 weeks and then the work would be done. The work was not done until two days before Thanksgiving. We were told the salesman oversold the time frame committment. The salesman also lied when he said the old screen porch would be taken away the same day it was taken down, but it sat on the side of my house for about two weeks. When we would call we would get voice mail or another delay. In the end workers showed up. They did a good job and were very professional. Our biggest beef was that no one stayed in touch with us to tell us there was going to be a longer then expected delay. After the porch went up there was a leak. The owner Tom came by and worked for quite a while on the roof. The porch still leaks but I expect after the holidays Tom will return and try to make it right.

Wow! My wife and I were very fortunate to find this company. This was a big project for us so for us to find a company, I joined Angie's List and also searched the BBB. I found The ScreenMan through the BBB under their parent company name T.R.A. Construction, Inc. Their website listed in the BBB 'www.thescreenmanonline.com' is what gave me the first good impression about the company. Under the 'Meet the Team' link, it gives a profile description and picture of each team leader that you will deal with for your project. Jay Smith the design consultant is the contact that helped me through my project. He came over for a free estimate and luckily was very helpful and open-minded as I was in-between roof styles. Jay worked with me and we finally came up with a roof design that was unique and fit my house structure perfectly. My wife and I wanted a big room to hang fans and let in lots of natural light. Jay designed a room for me that has a roof which begins above the existing roofline versus below like how most flat sloped roofs begin. Then he filled in the gap between the start of the aluminum room with the existing roof line with waterproof screen so it acts like a sky light. Very cool! Also, I highly recommend double doors for all screen rooms. It is very nice to have the option to open them both up for a party to accommodate a lot of foot traffic. After getting the design set, I was very surprised on meeting such a professional, hard working, detail oriented construction team. You could tell they all had a great professional working relationship and they were very polite to my wife and I. Its just an added benefit of working with a family owned company. Even my neighbors were impressed with them and wanted their card. The project took about three days and each day they straightened up the work site. One detail that stuck out to me was the fact that each worker made me feel like my screen room was the most important project they might ever get to work on even though my project is quite small to some of the houses they have remodeled. An example is when it rain the morning they were planning to seal the roof panels. Even though they could have sealed it up in the afternoon when it 'mostly' dried out, they told me they wanted to come back two days later when the forecast showed that it would be a much dryer day and much more accommodating to properly seal a roof. Now that's customer service! Go ahead an give The ScreenMan a call! P.S. Another good point is that they accept credit cards, which works out great because I love receiving cash rewards. Plus, for me, it removed the 'riskiness' feeling that I get when I cut a check up front for companies that I am just beginning to get to know.
