Description of Work: It was Thanksgiving Eve evening and my two kitchen sinks started backing up. Worst possible time trying to prepare for 22 people the next day. Roto-Router came right out and fixed the problem with no premium and standard rates. they did the job fast and clean.

Description of Work: Did a great job cleaning roots from the sewer line. Explained everything as they progressed through the process. Just a bit pricey. $440/hour and it took 2 hours.

Description of Work: An emergency service they unplugged the toilet and remove some trees growth that were growing inside the system.They used a snake to look inside and determine that there were serious ruptures in the system that needed to be addressed separately. They clean the overspill that the water from the toilet caused.

Description of Work: They gave a price for a re-piping job under my house. After the proposal was given to me I pulled out an Angie's List 10% discount coupon. He didn't believe I was a senior Citizen, I showed him my drivers license. He then said the coupon was for repairs only and balked on the discount, saying he would have to speak to the boss. I called a few times to keep the line of communications open,I just gave up after a few attempts, never heard from them again.

Description of Work: The repairman arrived on time and was very polite and professional. |He removed a toilet trying to clear the line and successfully fixed the problem. He reinstalled the toilet and recommended that we replace the toilet with a new one but did not try to "up-sell" me on buying one from him but rather gave me various suggestions on where to get one.

Description of Work: They ran a camera throughout my pipes to see any clogs in the drains at my house. They also cleaned out any of the clogs in the drain.

Description of Work: This company came to unblock the laudry drain at the condominium I manage. They initally quoted me $380 to unblock it. After I told them to leave they dropped the price to $180. Still too high in my opinion. Then when they finished the work they told me that it would not be covered under there warranty because they gave me a discount.

Description of Work: Small trickle of water coming down over my neighbor's kitchen sink. This is a Condo and the condo reserve fund pays for "in the wall" repairs. Rapid Rooter was recommended so we called. First I was asked to sign an estimate for how much it would cost to break open the wall to find out where the leak was coming from. That was $432 dollars. So they broke a hole in the wall and we saw a vertical crack down the middle of the main pipe that both the kitchen and bathrooms from the upstairs and downstairs feeds into. They then went upstairs and broke into the wall under the upstairs tenant's toilet bowl. They cut out a 3 foot piece of pipe and replaced it with a new pipe and collar piece. The covered the holes upstairs and downstairs with plastic because mold was discovered on the sheet rock. The bill was $2,917 dollars minus the $432 already paid. That was just for the plumbing replacement of a 3 foot piece of pipe and collar piece. They were very nice and professional...they called the mold remediation people that they use to take care of the rest of the problem. I was aghast at the plumbing bill alone being almost $3k. I believe they saw we were a senior citizen retirement village and took advantage. I have heard a job like this for the plumbing repair alone should not have cost more then $1,000.
